The only reason I have gone in recently was for Scotch tape to wrap a couple gifts and the place is right around the corner. Shockingly they actually had Scotch tape! Rite Aid brand, but close enough. The store is totally embarrassing and I feel bad for the employees, they look so bored. Either stock it or close it. Let another store that's worthwhile take over the space.

Sometimes there is a clerk at the register, sometimes not. There was this time and she told me to go to the pharmacy. Perhaps this seems obvious, but it still helps to have some in-store direction, especially in these days of labor shortages. So, I went back to the pharmacy area, and I could see that there was no way I would be attended to for quite awhile, or even to be able to speak to anybody. So I drove across the street to Wegmans and was pleased with the efficient system in place to get my flu shot quickly and with a minimum of fuss.

It's just not my thing. This particular Rite Aid is a typical Rite Aid. I came in here to get some Tylenol and Tums because my food tour partner was, as usual, feeling a little indigestion. You can blame me. As always. They had typically sky high prices and typically average service, so I'll give them my typical rating for an obnoxiously overpriced drug store. The pharmacy has a drive thru, but I opted to go to the counter. The girl behind the counter got really weird with me when my license didn't have my correct address (who's does anyways?). But then again, the pharmacy girls were very nice, so I guess I didn't mind some poking and prodding from them. After all, they were only trying to keep the world safe from meth heads. Everyone from the pharmacy counter attendants, pharmacists, to cashiers has been friendly and helpful. Even when I have been sick as a dog, barely able to talk, and grumpy, they have been friendly (but not annoying). The store is very clean, shelves are stocked and neat. I haven't had issues using coupons and I can just enter my phone number for their rewards program. I usually have stopped here for stuff like generic cold meds, cough drops, nasal stuff. Also they run decent sales, like my allergy spray was priced little more than Walmart/Wegmans, but they had it buy 1/get 1 for 50% off deal and I could use a coupon for each, so it was a good savings. Good selection of gift and greeting cards when I am in a pinch and need something fast! Store has good amount of parking. Can be harder to get out of if you are trying to go back down French to the East (towards Transit) or onto Borden going North, but not impossible.
