Great for running in quick for items. Have pretty much everything you can get in the bigger grocery stores. Clean store. The staff could be friendly. From the cashier's to the service desk are not the most pleasant and inviting at all. Staffed in the morning with a bunch grumpy retirees. read more

This location is a small little grocery store with a small parking lot. The prices are higher than Wegmans, so this isn't where I would shop regularly for any kind of groceries. That said it is conveniently located near another business I frequent regularly, so I end up stopping in for a snack or a drink or something miscellaneous. Their prepared foods are also quite good, although not inexpensive. The one thing that pushes this review for me from three stars to four is their pizza. Pizza is so expensive everywhere. Finding a good pizza deal is almost impossible these days. However, here, you can get a large thin crust pizza for $12. Mind blown. That's the number one thing that I stop in here for. Is it gourmet pizza? No. But is it an absolutely delicious value at $12? Heck yeah. It does take a solid 25 minutes for them to make it, so call ahead. Overall, not my favorite place to shop affordably, but conveniently located and useful for certain things. read more

Was harassed by a woman worker accused of stealing (was obviously not stealing i have my recpits) called me a bunch of names and white trash for paying with my wic card. Proceeded to follow me out of the store and took pictures of me and my car threatening me with cops and saying she knew where I lived. Mind u I paid for all of my groceries. I'm also 38 weeks pregnant super disgusted with how I was treated and will most definitely be complaining to HR and management and filling a harassment report on this woman. Today I needed something 'I didn't want to go to tops. I got a creamer, 3 large tomato soups Fresh bread. Heath bar. I got in my house, Creamer must have been cracked, spilled all over bread, bag, car. Washed creamer, made sure not open. For the cost I was unhappy. Went to customer service, the girl asked for a receipt, told the cashier not needed, but as standing at customer service she remembered my order. I'm not positive but I believe the manager and / or owner was sitting in a box, The girl asked what to do. ? Refund her money. Had to get the creamer wait back in line, no apology, no mention about bread. I don't care if I need something immediately, I will NEVER SHOP at this establishment again. With the cost of what I bought 23.47. absolutely was not worth the 5 Xtra minutes to go to tops. Extremely disappointed in how this was handled, I've been going there since b-kwik. 58 years. Cute Dash on Colvin in Kenmore. Easy location after the No Tonawanda Farmers Market for me. So I pop in Saturdays and pick up some croissants or muffins. Easy parking when I'm there. Not sure, but may get busy later in the day. Connected to a Spot Coffee, which is interesting, this is a different location. I have not checked out the back of the store, just the bakery section. We like Dash bakery products, so its not a hard sell for us. read more

Their redesign is amazing, with a great ready-made food bar. They have fresh pizzas, tons of soups, lots of options to choose from. The upstairs seating area is huge, with fireplaces, lots of leather armchairs, big tables, and tons of space. I never thought I'd make plans to go eat at a grocery store, but here I am! The bakery is always full of delicious treats and I will always grab one or two items for the next day. The meat and deli counter is gorgeous, and all the offerings are artfully arrayed, and look so appetizing. I always grab an assortment of sausages and steaks, and something that I haven't tried yet. The store is very clean, open, big, and nice to walk around and discover new foods. I always get something new, wether it's from the bakery, meat counter, prepared foods, or just a new brand I want to try. If you have not been there, you need to give it a try. read more

The tiny parking lot and cluttered isles might earn this tiny supermarket three stars until the following happened. The teenager checking me out asked for ID so I could buy some beer. Company policy he said. Strange policy I thought since my white hair and wrinkles might have been conclusive to most. I gave him my out of state drivers license and off he went to the head teenage supervisor for approval. Surprise, this 7-11 on steroids did not have the technology to verify a non NY state drivers license. I guess only NY'ers are allowed to shop here. Sale denied. Cute I thought so I immediately pulled out my US Passport Card issued by the US Government showing my date of birth. Off the teenage went to show the head teenager and he quickly returned with the same answer, Dash's does not have the technology to verify a US Passport. Sale denied. I noticed the head teenager make a call both times to some supreme being to confirm her denials. Cute quickly evolved to frustration so I bypassed teenager one and went to the head teenager. As it so happened I had in my possession my birth certificate issued by this very town's city clerks office. I offered to show the head teenager this verified birth certificate and she said no. She recommended that I contact the manager the following day to discuss the matter. At least that made me laugh! Fortunately, a guy In line my age who was watching this absurd spectacle helped by buying the beer with his NY driver's license. As we both left the store we shared the level of idiocy that has permeated Dash's management. I am aware some legal boneheads scared the alcohol selling retail outlets into numbness and attempted to strip the element of basic common sense judgement from the purchase process but this Dash location took the scare tactic to a brain dead lemming level. Turning smart teenagers into blinder wearing robots is Dash's fault not that of the non legal binding scare tactic lawyers. Will not spend another dime at this or any other Dash Market location while this policy is in place. read more

Dashs is extremely convenient. You can be in and out of there within 5-10 minutes. It is pretty much equivalent to running into your house for something you forgot earlier that day. They don't have the greatest variety of products, compared to the other local grocery stores, however, that's what allows it to be such a hassle-free location. It is also extremely clean and well-organized. The employees are always friendly and willing to help. The produce is always fresh and delicious. The deli carries high quality meats and cheeses. They are fully stocked with spices and seasonings. There's only been one or two times that they didn't have what I needed. There is also a Spot Coffee attached to the store with fresh salads and sandwiches. read more

I wish the owners would consider relocating their store serving Ken Ton. The current store was built about 70 years ago and is very small and needs more parking. At this time the area is served primarily by a Tops supermarket on Sheridan Drive. That store is filthy and poorly staffed and is among the worst in the chain. Dash's could own the Kenmore - Town of Tonawanda market if it built s new store in the area.. It's products are fresher and their meat and fish are second to none. read more

I work around the corner from this place and I love dropping in on my lunch break. This is a great place to go to grab a pre made salad or sandwich, always tasty as well. They also always have a selection of hot soups, wraps & they usually have tuna and egg salad as well! Not only can I get a yummy lunch here but I can also swing by the spot that's inside and grab a coffee for my afternoon fuel. Amazing! Their baked goods and treats are also just as amazing. I don't really do my grocery shopping here so I can't say much about that, but they seem to have a good selection so I will definitely need to try that out sometime! Best lunch spot ever! read more

Dash's is a great little grocery store. Their prices can be a little steep but not bad. The shelves are always fully stocked with no holes or messes. The produce is always beautiful as well as all the meat at the butcher in the back of the store. They dry age quite a bit of meat in store as well which is a pretty cool plus. They also have a fabulous selection of prepared foods which are always fresh and delicious. Plus they offer fish fries and a few other seafood dishes on Fridays and I believe on Tuesday's too. Coming from a grocery store they are surprisingly good and they have slightly battered fries and mac salad that are great as well. And to top it off there is a Spot coffee inside the store too! Can't go wrong there. It's quite nice to get a quality cup of coffee for while you shop. read more

Flowers --- we went to the location on Colvin and worked with Linda. It's very obvious that she's been doing this a while and she's great at what she does. The flowers turned out beautiful and they beat every price quote even Wegmans. read more

A nice, fully-stocked neighborhood grocery store, complete with deli, butcher shop, and coffee shop. It's a condensed version of the big guys. While I do my "big shop" elsewhere, Dash's is great for a quick stop, or to grab that one item I forgot. Great location. The only real downside is the small parking lot. It's manageable, but best to be extra alert when parking or leaving. read more

Dash's has quickly become my favorite grocery store. We have lived in Tonawanda for two years now and luckily the new house is less than five minutes from Dash's. It is so convenient when you need one thing or have an entire list! Dash's has fresh fruits and veggies. The bakery has fresh breads, rolls and donuts! (YUM) The deli counter has the best variety of meats! The shelves are always stocked fully. The store itself is extremely clean! There is a Spot Coffee attached to the store, with fresh salads, sandwiches and soup. On Friday's, they do Fish Fry's. The Fish Fry definitely falls in my top five! The parking lot is small and very tight. I used to be afraid to go there because of the small parking lot. I got over my fear quickly because I love the store so much! If you don't go during prime shopping hours, parking isn't as bad as it looks. The best part about Dash's is the employees! Every time I'm there the workers are friendly and helpful. I had the pleasure of meeting the general manager, Dave, while purchasing balloons. He was the most cheerful and pleasant person! He was visibly busy and stopped what he was doing to help. While helping me, other customers approached him with questions on where to find items in the store. He answers every shopper with a smile. He is truly the nicest man! What I do like about this place is the fact that they have a Spot coffee. I love the selection and I also think the cannolis that you can buy there are amazing. What is not so great are the salads and sandwiches. Mother is displeased. Reports are still coming in, but it's looking like a number of insects were found in broccoli she nearly purchased there on Friday. Reports show that penny-sized jumping insects resembling crickets were present in mother's broccoli. The genus of these insects remains undetermined. read more

This Dash's location is very clean, nice, and has great fresh products. They offer some products that you wouldn't normally find in a larger grocery store. This location used to sell Ithaca Milk, which I absolutely loved. It's not there anymore - BOO. It can be a little pricier than a larger grocery store, but it's convenient when you don't feel like being in such a large store. The front and back parking lots were not designed very well. It's often very hard to get in and out, but it's been made easier with them having the cars on the side street stop before the store entrance. It's hard when you're turning from Colvin into the front entrance because people are always backing up or have a hard time turning, and cars behind you can't tell why you're not going, so they start laying on their horn for you to move. (It really brings out my intense road rage. I legit have my own hashtag- #RoadRaginAsian) It actually brings me pleasure when people try to drive around me and then they get stuck. (I know. I'm horrible) Anyway, they have a cute little café that has SPOT COFFEE, pastries, large cupcakes and desserts, which are all amazing and make me gain 10 lbs just for looking at them. They have several soups as well. I love their split pea, Buffalo chicken wing and their chicken noodle. They have prepared salads, sandwiches and wraps, as well as breakfast sandwiches and burritos. They have packaged cakes that are very delicious -- carrot cake is superb and so is their double chocolate reese's peanut butter cup cake. They have rotisserie chicken, which I love, because it's so easy for me when I don't feel like cooking. They have a beautiful deli with a great selection of meats and seafood, and I love their produce. They also have a great selection of olives. I'm obsessed with ALL olives, well except oil cured olives. They always have enough cashiers, staff are very polite and know how to bag your groceries the right way. If you've ever seen, Home Alone, you know the difference between a good cashier and a bad cashier. read more

I tend to frequent the one on Hertel more often but sometimes stop in here along the way home. I do think this is a nicer store with a larger selection of veggies than Hertel. It is a great place to get some fresh meat and produce without seeking out (or in my case missing) your local farmer's market. Their meat is very reasonable compared to Wegmans. All other packaged items are priced higher than your bigger supermarkets but do you really need to eat that stuff anyway?! PS I have a particular love for Dash's simply because of the way they display their vegetables. Haha! You got to see the carrots to believe it! read more

Great grocery store! This place has a great collection of foods, fruits, veggies, and all the other fun stuff. This is not one of those stores you can get everything at, but you can get most things and it's of great quality. Also, they have good deals on lunch take out stuff, even for vegetarians (the veggie lavash). Attached is a Spot Coffee, so you can get your fix there along with a great soup bar. Head there sometime, stop along the way to work, and enjoy. Lasly, kudos to a great staff - I'm usually there at 8am and they are still friendly and energetic! read more

I love Dash's Markets! The best meat anywhere bar none! Like their choice fillet steaks, typically 2-3 inches thick, are $16.99/lb vs Wegmans hacked hashed together chunks of tenderloin at $21.99/lb. Dash's also has prime fillet steaks at $19.99/lb, but generally speaking, their choice fillet tends to be hardly indistinguishable from the prime, and it's $3/lb lower priced. They have huge tomahawk steaks at Dash's, try to find a tomahawk steak at Wegmans or Whole Foods! It's not happening! and even if they did, you'll be sure to pay a much higher price. Dash's fish selection tends to be pretty awesome too! Super fresh Sashimi grade tuna available by the lb! Ok they don't have quite the selection of aisle products as some of the larger grocery stores in the area, and they can be quite pricey for their std staples, but for fish and meat they can't be beat! Love Dash's for a few quick things that I need to pick up. Their Meat and Deli departments are the best around. They were giving samples of Beef on Weck today near the deli. 2 thumbs up, I bought some roast beef!! The bread and rolls always smell soooo amazing. I actually bought an Onion Bagel today, not something I usually do since I try to stay away from any bread. Without elaborating too much.. We utilized the florist services at Dash's for our recent wedding after we received multiple positive references. Overall, we were very disappointed. A lack of record keeping and communication seemed to be at fault. While I believe Linda wanted to make me happy, I feel as though my desires and requests were squashed or minimized in order to do what was comfortable for her. There was very much an "I know best" attitude that was condescending at times. She definitely has great skill and is good at the craft she has extensive experience in. However, I wish I had gone with a traditional florist that would have worked with me more closely on my vision. If you plan on having simple flowers or arrangements, go for it, they will be beautiful. If you plan on having a slightly fancier wedding and the flowers are important to you, go elsewhere. read more

I enjoy shopping at this location. Small store, so I am in and out quick! Their produce always looks fresh, and I've been happy with the produce I've purchased here. I don't do all of my shopping here; but I tend to buy the items on sale. Their "weekly Dash's deals" are good. Variety of meat selection. "Famous Friday Fish Fry" is actually worth the hype- delicious! You can call ahead of time and let them know what time you want to pick it up for dinner. read more

I ordered on Rosie for the first time great service. The weather today was just awful so I didn't mind waiting I understood. My order came to me packaged very sloppy. Needed double bags when you put several things in one bag. Granted it was a bad night and I even gave the driver a double tip because I felt sorry for him. I ordered roast beef and they did not send the Aju now I have to go into the store. I wanted this to really work I am willing to spend the extra money but I am so disappointed. OH MY!!!! I am so disappointed. I ordered the fish fry this is the first time I've had it from this location are usually get it from Hertal ave. (Much better)!!! This fish has absolutely no taste. It's fried perfectly nice and golden. However there is not a touch of seasoning in the batter. And I mean noneeeee!!! My fries were Mostly burnt and too hard to chew!
