And I'm glad I did. The professionalism Bruce's Auto showed was something of a rarity these days. I did not feel like I was getting swindled. They were very polite, affordable and timely. Too many times have I been taken advantage of by other mechanics but I can safely say you won't find such worries when visiting Bruce. He put mineral spirits in engine to unclog an oil port, but then it basically destroyed it. Received it empty on gas 4 miles, spare tire used, and black coolant in the radiator. He used it as a storage and destroyed it beyond repair. I can't even recommend for an oil change. Tons of cars stacked on his lot, tons of other people must be suffering from this too. It's a graveyard and a nightmare.

I brought my truck in and had them do an oil change after purchasing some BG MOA. The guy at the desk suggested I bring my own oil since I use Royal Purple ( not many shops let you or even suggest that). So I came in and also did an inspection. In my hour and a half wait, I learned a lot from just observing. I learned the following: Everyone that came in and dropped off didn't sign a ticket. They seem to be long time customers that just drop off. The gentleman at the front desk is on a 1st name basis with everyone that came in. You can see the great relationship the shop has with their customers, the parts guy that drops off by how they interact with them. I knew this was the place for me. They are honest, upfront and respect their customers. Bonus that I can bring the oil I want to use since they aren't able to get it. I'm glad I ran across this place. I will definitely be back.
