the people in the actual store part are super nice and helpful however the lady at the front desk had way too much attitude. super unwelcoming and dismissive. when I got my ID back from her she didn't even look at me just tossed it on the counter. this was my first and now last time here so I didn't know the routine she didn't acknowledge me when I walked in then got mad when I didn't check in with her. its a shame most first impression of the store are going to be the lady at the counter because everyone else was so cool and nice read more

Damn. This place is sketch as hell. The building exterior has no branding, so you don't know if you're even entering the right building. The two young guys in the front behind the screen were high as a kite - I mean like completely baked, they could barely formulate a sentence when asking for my ID. At first, I thought they asked me "Ey yo you retarded?" I felt super uncomfortable and sketched out when the stoned dude was keeping my ID. I should've known when I called ahead to check if they had CBD oils in stock, and the employee on the phone could barely talk and just told me to come in. And of course, they don't have anything in stock. Waste of my time. The girls helping out with the product selection were ok, but music was blasting and I could barely hold a conversation with them. 1 star only because there's nothing lower. Place is disgusting, budtenders are rude and didn't pass math class, shelves are always empty, "security" is non-existent (the chances of getting mugged in the parking lot are the same as getting ripped off inside so you've been warned.) When asked about the difference between sativa and indica I overheard one young lady say "Indica is like...it just gets you f*c+d up more;" and I'm not kidding. That was an actual reply to a patient asking an actual question. The (cash only to allow for tax evasion) prices are significantly higher than comparable shops in the area, the parking lot is a death trap, the atm never works, they get raided weekly and apparently they only choose to enforce 'rules' when someone is having a bad day. One day it's like concert security with a snitch wand and angry high school dropouts yelling at people to put their phones away and to take their hats off....but the next day you'll have to show your phone to get fifty cents off a joint and they're handing out 'medicine' to anybody walking by. Don't be fooled by the 4 and 5 star ratings across various internet sites; they offer new customers a free joint in exchange for a favorable review so they mean nothing. It's only a matter of time until one of the numerous salivating federal agencies gets to stomp this place out but until then prob best to avoid this rinky-dink popsicle stand of a shop; go somewhere with actual selection and budtenders whom know what they're doing. read more

I've been coming to this TopShop for over 4 years. Today was the last time I'll ever go back. I was treated very poorly by the NEW Staff. I'm a Marine Corps Veteran and a two time Cancer survivor. Due to all the trauma I had to go through with my cancer battles, I need weed to give me my hunger so that I'm able to eat. TopShop has always given me 20% off all the weed because I'm a Cancer Survivor. For some reason the new bud tenders did not want to give me the 20% off the weed today. They told me that the 20% off was only for THC "Products" and not grass. I didn't want to pay for the full price of "Grass" when I've been getting the 20% off for 4 Years. When I told the bud tenders if they could go and get their manager, They decided to start giving me attitude. One of the female bud tenders had the nerve to ask me if I work there. She knows I don't work there. So I told her, "No, I don't work here but I've been coming to TopShop for over 2 years." I also asked her, how long have you been working here because I've never seen any of you before." After I said that, she got super offended and decided to to call me old by saying, "How old are you, 60." After she said that, I got angry and started to be super disrespectful to all of them. They decided to call the Security Guard and the guard began talking like a thug and physically push me to start leaving. I wasn't being rude to the guard for him to put hands on me. I guess he had to Act tuff for his fellow Co-workers. I can't believe how BAD the customer service has changed. They had great people working there the 4+ years I've been going. Times change, but customers service shouldn't never change for the worse. I wish I could give this place ZERO Stars. I will never go again. They just lost a dedicated, Loyal customer. Damn, now I have to look for another dispensary so I could buy my Medicine so I could eat comfortably. I hope this review helps other Veterans and Cancer Survivors to make a decision not to come to this dispensary. They don't know how to respect real patients. If you are the Owner or a Manager of this location, I hope you fix the problem with your customer service. Been here several times over the years for CBD products only - never an issue. This is not my normal hangout, but I am comfortable enough being there. I came in today after not being there for over a year to get dog cbd chews - I know the drill, leave my license and go through buzzed door and go to the cbd counter. "Hey Baby" I was addressed by a young girl. I let it go, but she proceeded to keep calling me baby and I had to finally say no - I don't like being called baby, I am 54 female and I am not a baby nor have I ever let anyone call me a baby in any way or form. I was not rude, just politely asked to not be called baby. She said no one ever said that to her and she calls everyone baby. I told her it was a "me" thing. I wasn't trying to hurt her feelings or make her feel bad and I apologize if I did. To me, being called baby was disrespectful (maybe my generation)and made me feel weird in a kind of gross way. I would rather of been called "hon" Other than that I do recommend this place, decent area, I feel secure when I go in there. read more

I've been a loyal customer here for over a year. Their must be new management because I'm forced to download telegram (which I'll never use) just to get a deal. Then when I try to stack deals (which there's no language on their flyer that prevents this) I'm told I can't have both. I'm sorry but we must have a different understanding of the phrase "double up any deal for just $10 more" as I wasn't allowed to double up on the deal for an ounce since they mislabeled their deals. Asked if a manager could make good on their offer. I was told I could buy it at the price they're stating or not buy it at all. Then to add insult to injury I was denied 3 times to use my free gram from a punch card. I was told I can't redeem it on the same visit as I earned it. Ok fair enough. Next day I went to get my free gram and I'm required to make a purchase. I waited until my next purchase and then was told that I can't use it with other deals. This is a joke. I spend north of $400 a month at this place and I'm being hassled because they mislabel their deals and change their rules on their loyalty program. Thankfully a new spot in La Mirada. There's a friendly staff at the one that just opened blocks away that I'll be visiting in the future as 4 consecutive visits with bad experiences is my limit. They're cheaper too and don't make you download some pointless app you'll never use just to get a discount. Hope this place gets shut down soon. They'll deserve it. They won't give you your "free" gram we earned (after spending probably $500 at their shop) on the day we filled the stamp card. Girl said you have to come back another time. Came back the next day, they said you can't use it unless you purchase something. Then they said, you can't use any deals, you have to pay full price..... WHAT THE ACTUAL *UCK? This place is a joke, my husband & I easily spend $400 a month on weed, and we are now taking our business elsewhere, happily. Always, there are charming young ladies attending the counter; a delightful sight, I must say. The security is most courteous and instills a sensation of safety. Some kid walked by me and said "You're going to have to get off my property! We're closing up" (1:30pm-- AFTERNOON) I was shocked. I've come here frequently for YEARS. Can't get high! Got an oz of their lowest level of wax that tastes like nail polish (which would be fine) if i got high from it, but they managed to make a wax that somehow DOESN'T get you high. I will take a quarter gram dab and feel literally ZERO effect. it's like it has no thc in it. Didn't even bother trying to get a refund as I'm sure they wouldn't give it to me. Been a customer of this place since they opened the original location. They have had many ups and downs over the years and usually will bounce back and make customers happy. the problem right now is they just "Made" a new top level to their flower section. when I started they had a $35 max on 1/8s. it was the level I got because it was great quality. since then they have added tier after tier.... that product (now called coinsure level) has stayed the same price, but the quality has gone down and down, I feel they just want to raise the prices so instead of just being upfront, they made a new higher tier and bump down the quality of the lower ones. So when you are used to getting a certain "Quality level" for your price, you should get it. don't just rename the level and act like you are providing the same goods. read more

They have decent deals at times the only thing I don't like is that we already pay so much for flower that they don't even bother taking the stems off like is it really going to take up much of your time to takeoff the stems so it doesn't fucking way down the product and act like it's more weight than what it really is. Their flower products got a little better but still pretty dry. And the density isn't even really there. You grind up a nugget and it literally looks like there was nothing there . So why they charge so much for the flower I don't understand . Sold us a fake stiiizy pod. Refused to give refund. Called the front desk to ask what we could do and the guy just stayed silent, when i asked if we could speak to the manager he just spoke to, he stayed silent some more and then hung up and refused to pick up the phone afterwards. I wasn't being rude or anything. Really sad because i liked the vibe of the place :( going to file a report to the Department of Cannabis Control of CA and I encourage others who have bought these pods from them to do the same. Legit spot! Definitely come on patient appreciation day for a at hook up. They happen every month. I tend to load up on cartridges then, and they last me a little more than a month. Staff is decent, it's not as upscale as some of the spaces you find in downtown where it looks like an apple store became a dispensary but it's nice, local, and affordable. read more
