What a huge disappointment. Since we're new to the area, I was excited to try a new restaurant, but I honestly wish I had picked somewhere else. When we walked in, there was little to no staff around, so there wasn't much of a welcome. Ordering from the self-service kiosk was easy enough, so that wasn't an issue. Unfortunately, the customer service didn't improve from there. When my order was ready, the employee simply said, "Here," and shoved the bag toward me without so much as a smile. The biggest letdown came when I got back to my hotel. My rice was hard, and the chicken was cold, making the meal pretty unenjoyable. Maybe this was just an off day, but based on this experience, I don't see myself returning. read more

Very painful for me. I've been visiting Torchy's since my daughter was at University of Texas Austin. When they arrived here, it had become out Taco Tuesday spot. Ordered 2 breakfast burritos on line. That was simple, always is when taking my money. Right?! Arrived 20 minutes later, went to coveys no food. Waited 10 minutes and it's brought out. FYI app said be ready in 15 minutes. Took food home opened bag, no napkins. Bummer. Then opened burrito and bacon was RAW. I mean with chunks. Horrible as I tried to remove the raw pieces but too many so in the trash. Now Torchy's has lost my respect. Oh well. Good news there are other places to enjoy Tacos. read more

This location has been good at speed of service, though sometimes lacking in the order taking area. There is a newly installed ordering machine you can do it yourself on though. On more than one occasion they have been out of things, like hillbilly queso, and most recently, the taco of the month, days before the end of the month? This is an ok sized Torchy's, which I could see getting crowded on a busy night, but I typically go at odd hours. read more

At the location in Austin, TX, we would go for happy hour and eat elsewhere because the tacos were expensive. It's the same here. My wife and I went for lunch and both had two tacos and a beverage. I really like this location more than the one on Interquest. It seems more spacious and didn't feel too overcrowded. Service was quick. Our chips and queso came out as soon as we were seated. The Hillbilly Queso was hot, flavorful, and had the right amount of spice. We really enjoyed this. My kid had the Little Wrecker which was chicken strips and pico de gallo on the side. Apparently, this was supposed to come with fried avocado pieces but it was missing. Disappointing. We ordered the side order of rice and pinto beans. It was OK. Nothing to write home about. The burrito was also sup par. I did however, really enjoy the green chile pork taco. The fried avocado taco was complete mush to eat. It was overloaded with refried beans that you couldn't even taste the avocado at all. Torchy's is definitely not what I remember it being like I had it back in Texas. I looooove Torchy's and I'm so glad they opened another location in Colorado Springs! I run errands at First & Main Town Center a lot so it's very convenient. They just opened this location and honestly I couldn't even tell because everything ran so smoothly. We actually had people waiting on us more than I've experienced before, like bringing us utensils and a to-go foil and bag. Noice. We went at noon on a Sunday so it was obviously packed but we really didn't jsvw to wait too long for our food. They also have a spacious outdoor patio that's covered in the winter. I get the green chile queso every time. I could drink it. And usually the Democrat and Green Chile Pork tacos. I wanted a drink today but forgot my ID. :( next time! read more

First time here. Not a good experience. I ordered two shrimp tacos to-go for my lunch/ dinner break. Once at work I took 2 bites and realized the shrimp was undercooked . Nauseated right away probably just by the texture of uncooked fish. I called & let them know. I returned the food with the receipt after my shift. Having to skip dinner and take the extra time & gas to return to the restaurant after a long workday was very inconvenient. I was unimpressed with lack of compensation. Not great management skills, to say the least. It took them 20+ minutes to figure out how to give my $ back, since I paid cash. They didn't even offer to comp my beer while I waited. Thankfully they did have Goatpatch Hazy my favorite beer & bartenders/servers were great on both of my exhaustive visits today. Hence the 2 stars I gave this restaurant. If I do get sick, I will add another review for Torchy's Tacos on Center Point. Crossing my fingers that doesn't happen. The queso coupon they added to my refund won't have me returning. read more

Stopped to pick up my 2 tacos and tots and I just got it! Was supposed to be ready at 7:20 its7:50- crazy ! My tots are a small cup - for 6+ dollars that's the new size- what a rip. The counter lady told me when I asked about the size that it was the size of the new full size tot order- this cup is like 2 1/2" by 2 1/2" inches . If this is the full size what's the 1/2 order? I will not be coming back to this location! And maybe no locations again. Not worth the 20+dollars I just spent on 2 tacos and about 20 tots with RAW bacon! So gross. read more

We stopped to eat here at about 6:20 and ordered quickly. Thank goodness we got chips and queso because our food took over 40 minutes to come out. Absurd wait time for two tacos. My Mr. Orange was literally cold when I got it. Also, both of our orders were brought out on one plate, so the server had to go back and get another plate. Pricey (as expected) but so worth the food + experience! I was a little annoyed with the "tip screen" option since you order your food at the counter but there were multiple people tending to our table - asking if we wanted a refill of chips, more alcoholic beverages, and clearing our plates as soon as we were finished. They were all very kind and on top of it. I asked if the tip at the register gets split + they confirmed it does. Anyway, the food was SO good, we got the chips + green chili Queso, grande burritos, the Baja shrimp + brushfire tacos. I love how they paired sauces with the tacos so I didn't have to guess which sauce to get. Our kids ate ALL of their food (they DO have a kids menu that is not displayed on the big screen !) We tried for 15 minutes to order online while shopping close but kept getting a message that one of our items was not available without telling us what. After several tries, we gave up and went to the store and decided to only get chips and queso bc no one was available to tell us what wasn't available and we had to order at the kiosk. Everytime I go in the morning, no one is available to wait on me. Today, I sat at the bar while two men were trying to fix a TV. No one acknowledged me. I finally left and said, "Goodbye". We love Torchy's tacos, and we're so excited that they built one closer to us! Came here for brunch the other day, so I decided I'd try something new! I got the qrangler, and it was delicious! I loved the big egg with the shredded beef. The sauce paired so well with it all! It's bigger than the other tacos they have, so one filled me up! We also got their queso to share. it's one of our favorite quesos in town! The queso has hot sauce, feta cheese, guac, and cilantro. Having those other flavors not mixed in adds another layer to the flavor that is just beyond amazing! And their chips are so fresh and crispy, but we run out every time, but you can always asl for more. The service was great too! When we walked up, they immediately gave us a kids menu. Though they were out of the ones he could color on at least, we could see the food options. The food also came out super quickly, our buzzer didn't even go off before it was out. They also have this beautiful outdoor seating area that is covered and looks like the walls can be moved for when it's cold or hot. If you haven't been here, I highly recommend it! read more

Pretty much expect to have your face blown away July the flavors!! Taco of the Month and a slammin custom torch menu! I have not been able to get away from last month's special, the " Scally wag"! And the Baja shrimp is fire too!! Everyone here is polite happy smiling, helpful and remarkably chill for a place you don't have to tip. I tip anyway here but I'm curious if all the staff split those tips or are they only for the person at the register? Anyway- outdoor seating and several 75" (ish) screens and the bathrooms are almost always 3.5/5 stars which is remarkable for the traffic that comes thru all day. I've never seen the dining area short of people; just tables and chairs! Oh yeah- the QUESO here is fire!! Even if you're not a chorizo fan, it's so good. I use left overs on taquitos cuz I'm a fat ass. And they have the thin delicious and salty corn chips. lol. Pro tip- if you're not sure if you can eat 2 or more tacos, just order them one at a time. This was my family's third horrible experience. I say third because I love Torchy's and I wanted to be wrong and give them another chance. I and my children visited Torchys a few days ago. When I bit into my flour tortilla it tasted like cleaning chemicals. I smelled it and it smelled like they just cleaned the station where they prepared my food and laid my tortilla down on that spot. I asked for a manager. The manager Kellen came and seemed like we were bothering him. he barely listened to my issue before he pulled out 2 free taco vouchers out of his pocket and laid them on the table. He never offered to even remake my taco. Unfortunately, I will never visit this location again. read more

Upon entering this establishment, the girl at the front register greeted us just fine however, after completing the order she goes to the back and comes back not even 3 mins later and asks me what I ordered. As if she had completely forgotten my order after only just ordering 2 mins before she asked. Following that she continued to ask questions about my order as if I never ordered a damn thing. And then her co worker from the back comes up with a bag and I follow with asking "excuse me is that my tipsy chick tacos and my chips with cheese" and that girl follows to have attitude and says "no" with rolling eyes.... Come to find out the girl at the register had put the same order number on all the orders that were coming out fresh. I did not get her name however she has black curly short hair. Not to mention this was my first time at this food spot. Terrible customer service and the tacos are basic and way over priced. To top everything off for all the hassle and inconvenience my wife had asked if we can get a free dessert for the long wait and confusion and she had turned it down. Now let me tell you I have worked fast food my entire life and if I ever inconvenienced a customer I would make sure to throw in a little dessert or extra item for free to make sure the customer felt heard and satisfied.
