I was waiting patiently to look at some jewelry, a random regular walks in, came over, and the workers helped her first. She came in after me, yet I was told I had to wait until a cashier was available... so I did and was looked over. The buyer asked me what I was looking at as she looked at several pieces, I told her bc it wasn't much, she asked to see it, and bought it. Totally not ok. I also am now seeing some of your workers snapping photos of the garments/tags/doing research on selling platforms and on sale day having people come in and buy the garments for them. I get it, but still kind of not ok. Also the amount of replica luxury brands you're selling for real luxury designer retail prices is not a good look. In fact, I actually just bought what looked to be real pair of DOUBLE RL jeans for $40, had them authenticated, and sure enough they are Chinese fake from Santee alley. I just wasted $40 on a pair of $2 jeans and you have no returns. Legally, you do have to refund buyers if the garments they are purchasing are replicas as it is a federal offense to sell replicas. I'm not asking for a refund, instead what I am asking is for you to really be careful bc $40 is a lot of money for 1 pair of used jeans. It's my fault for not doing research prior. I was in a hurry and thought they would work for a western model I had today. Now I can't use them and had to spend more money on another pair of jeans. Please, I love your store and I will continue to come in, but take care of your community and really have your pricers do their research on items that you have marked incredibly high for what they are going for on eBay/poshmark. Used frame jeans should not be $79 in your store. Used express dresses that are from 3 years ago with stains and piling should not be $40. Your pricers will make or break your success. Their pricing strategy is going to have your items take up valuable space that other garments that may sell for a reasonable asking price could be occupying. I'm giving you advice bc I too am in the fashion industry. I'm a solo $1.8m annual income owner. I know what works and what doesn't. I've been in the fashion resale/movie rental space since 1999 and have been very successful doing it. I love your concept and your location for the community. Yipes ... once again, actually twice again I have been bamboozled. Won a leather chair then got…read moreinto a bidding war for the one ottoman that went with it (paid more for the ottoman than the chair, ugh) only to find that the chair wasn't the leather chair as advertised, but the linen version which I didn't want (and the ottoman to which I also didn't bid on) so I'm left with a mismatched set, $760. I left it at the warehouse and am hoping they refund me for their mistake at best, false advertising/fraud at worst. Again .. only buy what you SEE PHOTOGRAPHED because they don't check inside the boxes, and they tend to err on the side of 'more valuable.' My other issue was late last month, I won an 'appears new, overstock item, never sold' Christmas tree, only to get it home to find one giant section missing and no base. (also, clearly a customer return because it still had the guy's return address on the box) No biggie, $15 and a Saturday of driving. I bid on the same tree a few weeks later and got it for $20, and between the two of them, I Frankensteined together a reasonable tree. I never complained about the tree, but I've written to customer service about the wrong chair, which I left at the warehouse and I hope someone figures out quick enough to offer it as a 2nd chance to the people I was bidding against ... and give me my money back.

The tone of communications feels nicer, the warehouse area has room for people again, and most of the warehouse staff is aces. Only one, manager perhaps?, has no time for people. His typical answer is either "stand there and they will help you," or "no." Never been able to finish my first words. Alas, he is atypical for this place. Some of the super nice folk have moved on, while others have stayed. And the new people all seem friendly. Fun vibe. As for the customers.... Come on, these people work hard in an often hot environment and try to help everyone. You got a decent deal, most likely. So, TIP these folks!!! Can't hurt to throw a few bucks into the jar. Be nice, share! As for stuff.... It's hit and miss. Usually, you will be tickled, especially if you are a fixit type. If the item is way out - not what it said, the customer service folks, like Ernesto, are quick. The emails have even felt friendlier, even if we don't agree, there is a more casual and nice feel. In short, I'd say DO IT! The missing star? That guy just needs to slow down and be nice. But hey, 4 is a great job and this place seems geared to always doing better.
