I had my puppy there for bootcamp that was supposed to last for 4 weeks. I was told that she needed to stay longer because she was having aggression issues. This was a surprise to me because on each of my calls to see how she was doing, I was told that "She is doing great and progressing nicely". I stopped by one day and asked to see her and was told that they were too busy and I would need to schedule a time. I was the only customer in the lobby at the time. I scheduled a time for the following day and took a friend with me. Sadie smelled so bad that I couldn't stand it. My other dog was to be there for 1 week to work on anxiety that she had with the puppy. She was more anxious that ever and also smelled really bad. At the 10 week mark, I decided that I wanted my dogs back. I was charged $100 more than I was quoted and I had to pay for 1 day of daycare for both dogs so that they could be "evaluated". I never received an evaluation on one of the dogs and the evaluation I did receive was for the wrong dog. I was told when I picked them up that I would probably need to get them groomed as soon as possible because they were badly matted and they didn't have the time to brush them. I spent an additional $180 the next day having them groomed. They both had to be shaved down to the skin. In addition, the puppy learned nothing. She doesn't even know how to sit, lie down or come, which are the very basics. This is after 10 weeks! The "manager", Amanda, is condescending, uncaring and knows nothing about customer service! I have asked repeatedly to speak with Tori. I was told that she was out on maternity leave and when she returned, she would work with my dogs for 1 week at no charge. I told Amanda that I expected them to be trained as promised or I wanted my money back. It has been 2 1/2 months since I brought them home. I have called twice and spoke with Amanda both times. She told me that Tori had not come back, but I was first on the list when she returned. She then asked "What's your name again?" Are you kidding me? How can I be first on the list if you don't even know who I am?! They obviously don't care about their customers or their business if they don't even try to resolve issues. I have used them in the past for my other two dogs and had great results. That is not the case now. I WOULD NOT recommend them to anyone. They do not care about your dog or you. I had a hard time with my just adopted dog. She is a lab/hound mix with tons of energy. She needs to run! She needs dog friends. We tried the dog park but she was too obsessed with the other dog's toys. I brought her to Tori's K9 with not a lot of hope that things with her would change much. The first time I picked my dog up from Tori's she was tired. I noticed her anxiety was getting less and she ignored other dogs on our walks. I definitely see the difference when I don't take her to Tori's for a while. All her bad habits are returning. I also leave her and my other dog at Tori's when we go on vacation. They are well taken care off and I have peace of mind while we are gone. The place doesn't look like much but the staff is the heart of this place. They are honest and love what they do. This is my fourth year with them. read more

Don't waste your money if you want obedience training for your dog. The business has a training staff that offers no feedback to you about the training being offered and how your dog is progressing even after you have paid almost $1000 for their package. Communication is very poor except about costs/charges. read more

I've taken my dogs here for a few years. It's difficult to get hold of anyone, they don't answer calls often. They seem to be understaffed, as they don't always have the people on hand to do requested grooming services. I had a serious issue with a stay and I've been waiting over three weeks to hear from the owner, while being given the runaround by an employee. I will not be going here anymore. read more

Similar to the review below about the negligence in basic animal husbandry, our growing puppy was returned to us severely underweight, with a collar that he had outgrown during his time in boot camp with them, and so caked in urine that it left a residue on your shirt if you picked him up. The staff was absolutely aware of his condition because on the day we ended up picking him up early from boot camp we saw him twice. The first time he was seen and a comment was made about his condition, and the second time, hours later and unannounced to take him home. So for hours after we knew he was caked in urine the staff at Tori's allowed him to stay like that. Our puppy was taken to the veterinarian the following morning for an obvious case of kennel cough that they staff had also not mentioned. Kennel cough is highly contagious, which means not only did they not alert the owner that the dog needed veterinary care, they also knowingly put other dogs at risk of contracting the cough. The veterinarian also commented on how irritated the puppy's skin looked.....urine is acidic, and he had been in his own urine for so long that it was causing a mild burn to his skin. The negligence we experienced was absolutely inexcusable. You could not possibly care for a dog and let them live in those conditions. read more

Worst Kennel I ever took my Dog to!! They kept her for boarding on 3 different time occasions, the first time she was a puppy 9 years ago, I'm a former US Marine Veteran, & I loved the service which is why I returned with my Dog years later and referred many of my former military friends, but these last 2 times I was VERY DISPLEASED!! My Dog came home very with drawn, depressed, Sick, she lost weight, she had a cut on her paw that was bleeding that I wasn't made aware of, no explanation what so ever!! This last boarding was an absolute NIGHTMARE!! When I picked her up this time she had smeared poop all over her bottom and tail that was left on her intentionally that was obviously smelled and seen on her before I arrived to pick her up, so no one attempted call me to make me aware of the mess on her to ask me if I wanted her to have a bath before picking her up or volunteer to bathe her to clean her of the accident before I arrived, so after picking her up The little lazy sneaky smiling care giver Amanda) said nothing to me about the accident and smiled as I walked her to my car and of course she got poop all over the seats in the car, after I smelled it and became aware of it half way up the road, driving her back home, so needless to say I had to be late for work, clean her, have my car detailed & cleaned on the inside seats to get the poop & smell out! I called asked for half of my money back, they refused to refund me, instead offered me $20 off and a free bath & nail trim that they claim they would email to me so when I was ready to redeem it, I'll have it to use, I was completely LIED TO and it's been a week now and I've received NOTHING! & no follow up call!! Oh and also now she's sick with Kennel cough to matters even WORST & now I have to take her to the Vet for treatment!! I'll never be returning my Dog there ever again! & I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!! read more
