I have continued to come in here time and again for online pick ups and to peruse the items in my online basket. Sometimes you can get a better deal online but they can price match if needed. Sometimes there are items in the store that aren't online and I appreciate finding these discovery's. The girls that work here are always very nice and helpful, I always get a dressing room set up for me right away and Torrid has the best dressing rooms ever with the fans and comfy seating. I feel like as a company they are trying harder to give us fashionable peices but they aren't cutting edge, its like a season or two behind. Today I went to pick up an online order and there was NO PARKING whatsoever. I am currently in a boot and on crutches, so getting my order wasn't looking good. So I decided to call and ask if they could bring out my order. The lady on the phone told me to park out front with my hazards on and she would bring my order out. She sure went above and beyond and was so nice as well. I made the purchase online because it was a great price. But the service was amazing and she deserves to know this. THIS IS MY JAM! They were having a buy one get the second one for 70% percent off deal..in the WHOLE store! I probably spent an hour here, while my mom waited for me with my dog in the Palladio park area. Oh the ladies working here were very attentive! The way one of the women displayed my try-on clothes was just LOVELY. The fitting room was classy and reminded me of Victorias Secret back when they were super popular. I mean, the style of it was similar to that of VS. but the cleanliness was on point at Torrid. It wasn't crowded either and nobody's old clothes were left in my room or the other fitting rooms. It helped me get in the mood and in the zone while trying stuff on. My brain could really focus at this location. And I am all about sales, points, rewards and yeah, this is an expensive store for the average chick such as myself, but you have to catch them on a sale day. You won't be sorry. read more

I love this store, the staff here is always welcoming and very helpful. They promptly get a dressing room ready and if anything is needed in another size or color they search and give options. This store has already been poorly managed and still is. Tracy one of the store managers is rude. I witnessed her being unprofessional to one of the customers and rude to one of her employees leaving the employee feeling uncomfortable and upset. I also witnessed an employee about six months ago have a nervous breakdown in the store and she had to shut down the store early. I plan on contacting corporate and reporting this. read more

I went here merely to act as a clothes hanger for the things my daughter bought...Ha-ha-ha! The store looks nice and clean. And pretty comfortable and inviting especially coming here on a winter's day. Looks like the store stocks a varied line of clothing. Reasonably priced as far as I can see. The staff seem to be attentive to the customers in store. They greet you as you come in and ask you if there is anything you specifically want. Checkout was also quick. The store itself was very nice and clean. Good selection and sizes. No space was too crowded even with the large selections they had. One employee asked if I was doing okay and if I needed a changing room. Another employee (Later I found out her name was Lana) asked I needed a changing room rudely and let me know that I could hold them in the room, she put my name on the room as well. I pulled out a couple more shirts and went to the changing room to try them on, except my name wasn't on any of the doors. I asked the girl who took my things to the room about where I get changed and she again rudely told me my name was on the door. I let her know it wasn't and she again told me "Uh, Yes it is" and walked to the changing rooms with me. Even she saw that my name wasn't on the door. I understand that mix ups happen, we're human. Went here today with my good friend I was made to feel very uncomfortable. The sales rep excessively asked us if we were OK and if we found everything that we needed although the store was filled with other ladies we seem to get a lot of attention. My friend and I were the only African-Americans in the store it's so sad. read more

Favorite TORRID in all the land. Always accommodating and helpful! Literally, every time I go in, it is a positive experience! The layout of the store works for me and is always very clean and organized. I never walk out empty handed because of the deals they are continually having. I worked at this location for about 5 months, and let me tell ya. It was the absolute worst 5 months of my life. I was miserable every second I was in that store. The environment was very toxic. None of my coworkers ever made conversation with me. I was always the one that initiated small talk with any of them. I find this pretty funny because I was told on a couple different occasions that I needed to open up to my coworkers so they could get to know me. This was my very first job. I had never worked a cash register in my life. Anytime I had questions about something, I felt terrified to ask because I didn't want to get in trouble. So I got stuck cleaning the fitting rooms basically my whole shift. The management is absolutely terrible. They treated me like shit. Didn't respect me at all. Made me feel like I was stupid. Hated me for lord knows why. Told me I didn't have any common sense. One person in particular made my experience there a living hell. They gave me hardly any hours. I probably worked about 2 days a week. The longest shift I ever had was 5 hours, and that only happened once in the time I was there. My standard shift was 2 hours long. I got only 2 breaks the whole 5 months I worked there, which sounds pretty illegal if you ask me. The funny part is that they didn't give me any hours, but they had the we're hiring sign in the window the whole time‍ They didn't give me any shifts during my last two weeks I worked there. I had texted one of the managers (the only one I could stand) and asked if she had a picture of the schedule, and she responded with a very snarky comment and told me to call the store and find out for myself. I am very glad I don't work at this "establishment" anymore. I have a new job now and I like it a whole lot better. I will NEVER spend a dime of my money at any Torrid location ever again. read more

I've shopped here several times. My entire wardrobe is Torrid. It is amazing quality for the price. I have never had issues with ripping as other posters have stated. The staff is usually one or two people which can be a bit annoying when they are busy and you need to be let into the room. I love Torrid and will continue to shop. The last time I came here the girls working were dry and one of them was rude and barely spoke to you if anything I had to try to make conversation with one them but only one of them was kind of interacting it was on around 9pm-ish (12/18/19). so when my friend said She wanted to come here I didn't want to go here because of the experience I had encountered but today was different. I was so excited that they opened this store where I work. Galleria is too cramped and Sunrise Mall I don't get to the area enough. Anyways, we there on my lunch today to return pants and look for something different. The store is really nice and big, the employees are what my review is really about. They are not very friendly. Chelsea returned my pants but wasn't friendly AT ALL. She made me feel uncomfortable. After shopping around a bit I waited by the fitting room for someone to let me in...then waited waited waited, then had to walk up to the front because Chelsea was ringing someone up and the only other employee was on the phone not paying attention. She let me in and I tried on my stuff. When I come out to Pay the same 2 employees are out there. Chelsea looks at me then looks at the other employee then says you are going to have to ring HER up. Again I feel uncomfortable like this girl has an issue with me or something. Anyways as she is ringing me up she has issues with the computer and then Chelsea (the manager?) has to come over and help her. So it took longer than it should have. Maybe because it's a new store they are still trying to work the kinks out or something, but I was really excited to shop here and now I don't know if I will go back again. I don't like being uncomfortable when. I was super excited about buying new pants in 3 sizes smaller. Torrid is a store I should feel comfortable walking into as a girl with curves. read more
