A couple weeks a go me my Mexican husband and my mom walked into Somo in the Palladio Folsom CA. I noticed this older white lady seemed irradiated to help us and didn't want to make much eye contact with my husband and rolled her eyes when I was ask her questions about the sales. Me and my mom are white she seem to be slightly better to my mom and me. Which made me notice the racism. I do not care if you're the owner or an older lady that needs another job but in this days and age you can't treat people like this and have the company thrive. Racism is unacceptable. Her actions were rude and racists. From the way she conducted herself its time to retired. She made sure for us too know she's been in retail for so long. Her attiude and racist actions does not reflect this company well. If it was my company I would let her go. Retirement time. She's burnt out with people and retail. read more

Wow! The customer service at this location rocks! I have had two store visits and an over-the-telephone order. All three encounters exceeded my customer service expectations! Friendly, professional and knowledgeable employees! Soma is located in the beautiful Palladio Shopping Center, Folsom. It is a clean and well organized store. Quality lingerie products and plenty of brands from which to choose. Leggings, shorts, swim suits and all that other stuff you just have to have :). I love the lounge wear! I bought 4 different patterns of the same style lounge frock.. One I can literally wear as a cute summer dress. These people are here to serve you with a sincere smile on their faces. Thank you all! I usually ordered online . Anyway the dress is too small and I brought the dress back for exchange but the lady ordered online for me ( then she ordered wrong size) anyway I had to go back and they placed another order for me and charge me . Anyway it was getting complicated. Finally I got 2 dresses, 1 right size and 1 wrong size one she ordered so I had to bring back , for the 3rd time !! The lady was so rude when I tried to explain the whole situation. Anyway if you want to return online order, it's ok but please don't let them order another one for you because they messed up and changed me twice then the lady charged $3 more than what I got online. I just had the best experience shopping at Soma for the first time. Dawn helped me in the fitting room and Lisa helped check me out. Normally shopping is stressful for me so I was grateful for Dawn and Lisa's helpful attitudes. I came in an hour before closing and expected to be in and out but ended up being there for almost an hour (7 mins after closing)and I bought much more than I anticipated, which is a great thing in my case! I was so overdue to get new underwear and I loved a lot of the things Dawn picked out for me. Both ladies were patient and sweet even though I kept them after closing. And I hope they both get a raise as they educated me about their promotions and upsold things I will actually use and enjoy! :) read more

Nice and comfortable bras. I like the quality and this store usually has a good stock of bras in my size. However, the customer service is a hit or miss. There are some friendly associates and others are snobbish and minimum. I picked up an order about a week ago and they just put the bras in a small rectangular bag without any covers or tissue paper so it was just kind of exposed as I strolled around the Palladio. Not a big deal but something to note. A week later, I picked up another order for one bra and it was all wrapped and sealed which was nice and appreciated. So a little inconsistentency there. Makes me think the first person that packed my order was not as thoughtful in his/her work. Also, when I picked up my second order the lady behind the counter was on the phone with another customer but no pause for any greetings or any "I'll be right with you, miss" or "let me get another associate to help you". Tried to pick up my order to save time instead I just stood there waiting. One of the associates eventually took initiative and helped me with my order and seemed nice. Like I said hit or miss. Hopefully they will be better and be more consistent with their service. read more

I needed new bras, and I was kind of in a pinch. The only store I had purchased bras from had gone out of business during the pandemic, and I had no idea where to get one. I am large busted, and bra shopping has always been a drag - nothing fits properly, it can be somewhat awkward and always exhausting and expensive. I found SOMA through a google search, and I had seen it in Palladio but had just assumed it was an expensive store with pretty bras for small-busted women only. I was SO WRONG! I walked in, and immediately was approached by Danielle. I told her what I needed and she offered to do a fitting right away - this was even more amazing since the store was closing in 25 minutes. I knew they'd be closing and didn't think they'd even have my size, so I was just planning on grabbing whatever *might* fit. We did a fitting and she whisked me away to the fitting rooms. She brought me 5 different bra styles and they all fit. I was elated and panicked, LOL! I thought, "I can't afford all of these, but how will I choose?" Trust me, I'm used to settling, so being able to choose? It was like being a kid in a candy store. I picked out 2 and planned to come back next payday - then Danielle came in to let me know that all of the garments I was considering were 25% off plus I'd get a $20 discount if I spent $80. Sold. I've been paying $55 for bras that were uncomfortable and boring. At Soma, I found 3 beautiful bras (including a gorgeous and sexy black lace bra) for about $34 each, with the discount. They have an awesome reward program and I'll be back this week! Danielle was amazing, she was so nice and made the entire experience really easy and comfortable. My new bras are super comfortable, too! And he straps don't slide after wearing them all day. If you have a hard time finding bras, I super recommend that you try Soma in Palladio. Just had a terrible customer experience at the Folsom Palladio Soma store and will not be back. The Assistant Manager was extremely rude and condescending and couldn't understand how to process an exchange with gift receipts from a purchase made the night before. I saw similar treatment to an older lady wanting to try items on. I left there shaking & in shock at the treatment received. Highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. read more

My teenage daughter is very well endowed and also VERY petite! This combination means that there are very few places we can buy bras for her and even if we can buy an off the rack bra we are making it work somehow for her - meaning it doesn't actually fit, it's just as good as it gets. I also in a prior life was a certified bra fitter, I have taught her how to shop educated. She went to Soma on her own, knowing her bra size there because we have bought there before. The associate told her there was no way she was the bra size my daughter stated and brought her a bra 6 cups smaller than her actual size. My daughter showed her how it fit and all the problems with the size and she then came with a bra only 2 cups bigger. This is absolutely ridiculous. She made my young daughter already insecure about her body feel even worse about herself. She came home crying and upset. My daughter did buy a bra because she knows she has limited resources but did not feel good about it. Shame on Soma - I should not have to be present every time my near adult daughter shops just to make sure she's not humiliated, and bullied by a sales associate not educated enough to even size her clients appropriately. This woman has no business working in this type of store. All women regardless of age or shape should feel comfortable. After my daughter purchased her bra from this associate - the associate yelled after her as she was leaving "good luck!" In reference to her bra size. This is disgusting behavior - the only parting words should have been "thank you for shopping with us, have a good day". Unfortunately we will not be returning to this store ever!!! I know of one other company that carries a size she can wear off rack and they have our business as long as possible. And I will tell everyone I know of the poor customer service we received at Soma!!! read more

This store has the most helpful nice staff, everyone offers fantastic customer service. They make suggestions geared to my likes. I'm hooked on the products at soma. Won't be changing where I purchase bras & underwear. They offer great promotions on a regular basis. Kudos to this store! read more

Great boutique, best merchandise and service. If you don't know your size their associate are there to help you. Their lounge wear is so comfortable, and the pj are made with cool night fabric and bamboo. read more

Everyone was wearing masks....I provided my size and what I was looking for. Was given two bras, no fitting to make sure I had provided the correct size. Neither one was that great and rather than spend $60 on a bra that I don't love, I am going to try the SOMA in Sacramento. Maybe their customer service is better. read more

I brought my niece here to get her properly fitted. Super nice staff and made my very shy niece feel comfortable enough to let her in the dressing room to really help. A little pricey on the bras, but... you get what you pay for. We are happy. Thank you SOMA. read more

Went to Soma tonight to take advantage of the sale that was going on, the dark hair mean sales person rang me up without saying a word, not sure what was her issue, at the end I SAID thank you and her response was not even a word it was"ahummm" Not going back ever as much as I like the undies. adios read more

The quality of Soma bars has severely declined. They recently switched to cheap plastic hooks that connect the straps to the front of the bar. The hook expand with use causing the straps to slip free without any notice. On my two most recent purchases it bid not take that long before the hooks snapped in half making the bra unusable. One bra broke within 2 weeks of purchase and the other just about 3 months in. read more

Finally found bras in my size. Customer service is top notch. The person who worked with me was so kind and kept bringing me items to try on to make sure I found exactly what i was looking for. The establishment was bright and very clean. Unlike 'trendy' lingerie stores this one is classy. I will be purchasing more in the future. read more

These bras are comfortable and have great support and don't cut into my back like Nordstroms bras do. The jammies/clothes are good quality and comfy...a very soft and smooth material . I also like how they always offer coupons online! read more
