Kind of ridiculously picky, right? Not to these saleswomen! Three of them walked around with me, talked to me, joked with me. They didn't care that I was smelly fresh from the gym or opinionated on everything. In the end I ended up looking at a blue sparkly shirt, unsure how I'd look in it- and a saleswoman came up to me, told me she had it, and told me how she styled it. She helped me pick the right size and made me feel so good about myself, though I'm not a standard "sample size." When I walked in, clearly nervous, the woman folding clothes at the front said, "Come right in. You're in the right place. This is what we are here for!" A+. I know it's salespeople's jobs to be kind and sell stuff, but they went above and beyond with customer experience. They made me feel beautiful when I never do. And not judged. Great experience. Most places have the top and bottom as one size and sold together. Torrid, sells their swimsuits separately, which is a bit more expensive but totally worth it. I ordered online and it was a 40% off sale day. Fantastic! However when it arrived, the top was just a bit too small. I drove out the the Maine mall and asked if they would take an online return. They did, and I got a tip that was 2 sizes bigger. The person at the register seems apprehensive about the online return at first. However once she realized, she was very kind and asked if I wanted to try the new top on. It's a good thing I did, because it was too large. I finally got one that was just the right size. Perfect for me! So I was very happy to have had a great experience and this is my 3rd torrid bathing suit, they really are very nice for the big ladies. One store might be nice and neat with friendly people, and others are like some kind of flea market with grouchy employees who hate you for even being there. This store is the former! I went here after visiting the Dedham store, which is hell hole. I don't know the name of the woman who runs the store, but she was extremely friendly and helpful. All of the clothing, even the clearance racks, were neatly arranged by size and color so everything was easy to find. Why can't they all be like this?

Of course I had to buy a million adorable outfits for him. Inside Out carries a huge stock of the most precious onsies, lounge pants, shirts, and other clothes for babies and toddler. They had beach and outdoorsy themes that were perfect for what I was looking for. They also carry women's and men's clothes, jewelry, knick knacks, candles and other gifts. It's a great one stop shop for gift buying with super friendly staff. They offered to take my items to the register while I finished shopping. One of my favorite boutiques in town.
