Thank you Michael for making our first time experience here enjoyable, welcoming, and we appreciate your hospitality, kindness, knowledge, and support.

That's exactly what I did. I went on yelp and picked good eats and thats when I stumbled upon Umai Savory Hot Dogs. Upon entering the restaurant I was quite surprised that it wasn't busy at all. It's a pretty cool spot to hang out at. The menu items all looked pretty interesting. I ordered the honolulu bang bang, truffle fries, and baga sliders. I have to say wow these did not disappoint. I love the sliders! The sauce was so delicious. I could not stop eating the truffle fries! So hot and crispy! I love pineapple so the honolulu bang bang was the perfect choice for me. I can't wait to go back and try the wings. I also have to mention about how nice the cashier was. She took the time to explain about some of the menu items. I also see her working very hard and multitasking. I will definitely go back to try more delicious food.

I won't go there the hour before they close anymore because the staff that works that shift gives off an energy like you are in their way of going home. They put the catsup and mustard bottles away AN HOUR before close! When I ask for ketsup, they tell me to get it from the fridge myself! LOL It reminds me of the 'no soup for you' episode , but not quite that bad. I went there yesterday for lunch and the check out girl forgot to give me my cup for my combo and just goes and fills some sauce cups and it broke and spilled everywhere, all the while, I'm still waiting for my cup, I ask the other lady who's doing all the work and she said 'sorry, here you go'. I had to wait 10 minutes for 1 polish hotdog. And it wasn't busy. The guy behind me got his dog before me. I have no idea who all these hot dogs were going to cuz I didn't see them get served, just cooked. I didn't know it takes 10 minutes to make 1 hot dog! They have their work Flo messed up. One persons doing all the work making the food and the other person is a dumbass not doing anything useful. Then you bite into the hot dog and the anger goes down and you remember why you went there. It would be nice if they made the cheese melt on the hot dog though, not just stay unmelted, it's not quite the same experience. They really need to do some training on customer service and workflow and put their ketsup away 10 minutes before close. If you can have patients to deal with all that, the dogs are good. I like the decor, but sometimes, I get so annoyed with the lack of customer service, I eat outside just to separate myself from them! LOL

We let him know it was our first time there, and he made us feel welcome. I got the cheeseburger and really enjoyed it. I especially liked the Hawaiian roll bun. I was worried it might be overwhelmingly sweet, but it wasn't at all. The sweet pickles were also a nice touch. My husband got the Swole' Chick breakfast burrito, which has a whopping 80g of protein! He enjoyed it, although it wasn't his favorite thing we ordered. The fries, though--SO good. The regular fries were crispy, stood up instead of being limp or soggy, and had the perfect amount of salt. We also tried the chili cheese fries and those were bomb! I thought the prices were very reasonable for the portions and quality. The cheeseburger was $11.99, the Swole' Chick was $14.99, regular fries were $3.99, and the chili cheese fries were $7.49. We definitely got a good amount of food for what we paid. There's plenty of seating inside and a bar at the front. My only real complaint was the fountain drinks. They don't carry Coke or Pepsi products and instead have RC Cola, which I had never tried before. I'd heard it was supposed to taste similar to Coke or Pepsi, but to me it oddly tasted more like root beer. The diet Dr Pepper was also out--it came out extremely light brown and mostly water. The ice machine also ran out of ice while we were there, but when we mentioned it to Joe, he immediately came over and refilled it, which I appreciated. Overall, we had a good first experience. The food was really good, prices were reasonable, and Joe was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The fountain drink situation could definitely use some improvement, but the food--especially those fries--would bring us back!

John and his team have your hot dogs covered for your dining pleasure in western Placer County. It's mid afternoon, Saturday, June 07, 2025, and I'm enjoying the Rocklin Brewfest 2025 and I'm in the mood for a delicious hot dog. I've come to the right place, as Doggiestyle Hot Dogs was on site, and serving hot dogs for all to enjoy. This is a pop-up restaurant that servers hot dogs at events all over western Placer County. I went with a "Quarter Pound Nathan Dog," How can you beat that for a great hot dog? The dog began with a quarter pound Nathan's Hot Dog, which was grilled to perfection by hot dog chef John, on site, at the Rocklin Brewfest. The dog was simply perfect, and fitted perfectly with the large, fresh bun, which was a start for an amazing lunch. On to the condiments! The trip to the nearby condiment bar was worthwhile, as I added a cornucopia of condiments, including mustard, mayonnaise, dill pickle relish, chopped white onion, sauerkraut and especially peperoncini, which is a rare treat for hot dogs. I suppose you could call my hot dog loaded? No ketchup whatsoever, as I never desecrate a hot dog by adding ketchup. Not to mention... may I say my dog was loaded with delicious condiments? One bite into the dog I was rewarded with a refreshing "snap," thanks to the natural casing on Nathan's Hot Dog, which made the hot dog both worthwhile and simply delicious. The condiments I added simply enhanced the dog, and didn't take anything away from the amazing hot dog, and the fresh bun. Such a delicious hot dog! Chef John knows how to grill a hot dog, and the Nathan's Hot Dog he grills are as good as it gets. I tip my cowboy hat to chef John, and his delicious hot dogs! Five star dining for all of you who love a delicious hot dog.

Comes with little cups of salsa verde and (maybe) salsa macha. Neither are very spicy. LA Street aka Sonoran style hotdogs $7. Fat juicy dog wrapped in bacon, dressed with grilled onions, bell pepper, jalapeno, mayo, ketchup, and mustard. Cheese dog is $9. Lúcuma aguas frescas was made with real fruit, lots of pulp, lots of refreshing flavor. I also had the amazing strawberry cream, you can see the little strawberry seeds in it. Giant 32 oz size for $8. They offer samples to taste in the tiny cups. Intersection is very busy and a little loud since they're both major roads. There's parking spaces and they have a table with little plastic stools to sit on. Usually open Thusday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 6:30pm-11pm. You can call/text to make sure they're set up before you make the trip. We've eaten here three times and will continue to support.

ME LOVE HER! ME LOVE HER (foot-)LONG TIME!…read more SIT-REP (Situation Report) It's great to have a great hot dog stand only 2 blocks North of my office-site! THE SET-UP AND THE FARE In fact, this is the first prong in my ritual walk: after I grab some peanuts in the shell, I get the hot dog (usually Seattle style with Cream Cheese or German style with Kraut), and walk to Capitol Park, and find on of my favorite park benches on the Southwest Quadrant of the park. And as I munch on my hot dog, I am approached by a surly group of squirrels, led by Chip & Dale, who look at my plaintively, eyeing the little pile of peanut shells on the bench next to me. I make a few teasing feints of peanut throws, but then follow through. It's amazing to watch the little tussles between the fluffy-tailed rodents - it's amazing to imagine squirrels WITHOUT tails and what handsome rats they would make. I also imagine how this scenario would be dramatically different if my pocket-Panthers JACK & BOBBY were there with me, watching these events. Would my cats think I lost it? Would they feel betrayed? Actually, I think they'd ridicule me because that's the kind of basterds my cats are (since these are the same two that disect mice, rats and birds in front of me as we go on our walks). THE LOWDOWN But I think I've wandered off the reservation and have gotten away from talking about DOGS. These are some good DOGS! YUMMM!
