    a food truck

A no frills unsuspecting taco truck that blew all of us away! We had a friend come visit on his way back from Hawaii to New York so we took him on a little tour of the Bay Area and Sacramento. We were hungry so we hopped on Yelp and found Tacos El Sinaloense. We parked in the lot and went up to the order window. Since they had lengua, both my friend and I ordered it in a burrito and let me tell you, I have not had better lengua anywhere else before or since! The service was quick and we all savored our burritos and I made sure to bookmark this place for future visits!

Great little hidden Gem behind Young's Auto Center on Fruitridge. Been going here for over a decade and it never disappoints. They have taco's, burritos, quesadillas, with a variety of meats. The service is always friendly and very quick. The ambiance does definitely leave something to be desired, but it's a taco truck behind an oil change station, so eh. They take Apple Pay / Google pay, cards, or cash. Definitely check it out if in the area, but do keep your head on a swivel for homeless wandering by or other riff raff from the surrounding areas.

I had the Carne Asada burrito. Fantastic taste. Service was quick and helpful. It was nice to relax on the outdoor patio under the overhang. I will definitely come back again.

Located behind Young's Auto Center, this taco truck serves up great eats while you wait for your oil service. Highly recommend. Just wish the salsa was a bit spicier.

Drove 30 mins from Roseville to find a good asada taco truck. This place hit the spot. Love the onions and especially the delish asada. Love trucks that actually give you the asada instead of the fatty parts. With they were a little more spicy but other thane that. These are super tasty tacos. Would eat here again no doubt.

Love this place and highly recommend making this a regular stop for amazing tacos. My daughter and I were out taco tasting last week (trying out tacos at different trucks in town) and after having a carnitas taco at El Sinaloense, we both declared them to be unbelievably perfect and determined that trying any more tacos at other trucks could possibly be disappointing.

So good, the carnitas and cabeza were top notch and the salsa are good, especially liked the green. Will be coming here way more often, thanks for the delicious lunch today y'all!

So good! Love coming here for the tacos. Literally the BEST. Carnitas 10000000/10! The tortillas are better than other places and salsa is great.

My boy stopped here on our way back from our long day after our studio session. There were a lot of cars so I figured it must be good. I already ate so I didn't buy any tacos last time but, I remembered this little spot and I decided to checked it out today. It's not fancy but good street tacos $1.50 each, Omg...watch your mouth, these are Sinaloa Tacos boy! Lol, I would have gave them 5 stars but they ran out of Asada, what?!!!

The carnita tacos are the BEST is south sac, hands down. The prices seems to increase overtime but worth every penny! I would choose this Taco truck over any Mexican restaurant lol ‍

The restaurant had great energy and a fun, buzzy atmosphere. The crowd was a lively mix of people from the Capitol, couples enjoying date night and moviegoers grabbing dinner before or after a show. We ordered the carnitas and carne asada. Both plates were generous and full of flavor. The carnitas were tender and practically fell apart with a fork, and the carne asada was cooked perfectly. Add friendly service and a colorful setting, and you have a great downtown Sacramento dining spot!

Unfortunately, the service was lacking during our visit. One of our meals was forgotten and we had to flag down the server to let him know. Our server also wasn't around very often, so it was difficult to get refills or ask for anything we needed. When we requested a specific number of to-go boxes, we weren't given enough and had to get up and ask for additional boxes ourselves. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but I took away 1 star for the lack of service. The service could definitely use some improvement, especially since it wasn't busy when we went. With more attentive service, this could have been a much better dining experience.

I loved the old-school atmosphere, colorful décor, tile floors, photos everywhere, and all the little details throughout the building. It feels like a place with history and personality rather than a cookie-cutter restaurant. Definitely worth checking out--but don't go unless you're hungry! I got the 2 item plate and chose verde enchilada and the verde chimichanga. It came with rice and beans but I asked for no beans. My friend ordered the steak ranchero dish and did not like it very much. It looked more like a stew. The ranchero sauce looked to be very watery.
