I've come here many times over the years to grab a torta and agua fresca. After not visting in a few years, I happened to be in the area and decided to grab drink . From the outside it looked like the place was closed. The lights were dim and the place was totally empty when I walked in about 6:30 PM. When I ordered at the register I was in shock at how expensive a large agua fresca costs now. It was $10.37 ($9.49 before tax). I was expecting it to cost around $7.00 before tax since that's what most Mexican places are charging these days. I won't be returning any time soon with the prices they are charging. read more

This has to be one of the worst food services I've ever experienced. First, the torta only had three ingredients: beans, lettuce, and meat and they barely put any beans or meat. It honestly feels like they're trying to cheat customers by piling on lettuce to make up for the lack of actual filling. I even noticed another party who ordered three tortas, and theirs were made the exact same way. Then we ordered the sopes, and once again, they skimped on the meat and beans, loading them with so much lettuce you could practically make a salad out of it. As for the quesadillas, they were so oily we had to dab them with napkins. On top of that, they always seem to "forget" that quesadillas come with sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo. Every time, we have to remind them to add the sides or point out that they forgot them entirely. Lastly this one staff with blue hair and blonde hair was eating Cheetos while working. She didn't even try to hide it she was behind the juice counter eating them and facing us. SPANISH: Este tiene que ser uno de los peores servicios de comida que he experimentado. They also have very tasty aguas frescas but they can be a little sweet, so if you like sweet drinks Torta Sinaloa is perfect for that. Menu is also a little pricey which is why we don't come here super often but when we do, it's worth it. Today we paid $34 for 2 tortas with avocado. I believe one Torta is typically $13-15 depending on toppings. We really only come here for the tortas, I had a torta de milanesa de pollo and my husband gets the pechuga de pollo. We get the build your own because it comes with beans, lettuce, tomato, pickled onion, creamy avocado sauce and your choice of cheese. You can also add a fried egg, avocado, and a couple of other items for $1 up charge. Portions are perfect for us, I always have left overs which is nice. Only downside of coming here is the service. The service is definitely a hit or miss, today it was ok but there has been plenty of other times where it was horrible. Ambiance is better during lunch time, for dinner it's a different story. I'm not sure why but the music always seems to be louder at night. If you come here, I would definitely recommend dining in during lunch. The ambiance for this place has downgraded drastically. It is no longer a family friendly place. Do not come if you have young children. The food was very tasty like always but the vulgar music they had playing talking explicitly about sex and profanity playing really ruined the dining experience. I am very disappointed because I genuinely enjoy coming to this place with my family, but we will not be returning. The least they could have done is played the clean version of the songs to accommodate guests. Service was also not so great. It took me a few minutes to get my server's attention because she was too busy talking and the blond younger cashier could see me waving at my server and made eye contact with me but chose to look away and ignore me. Good tortas and ginormous drinks! I've been going to Tortas Sinaloa for years but I just realized they're open early for breakfast. From 8 am to 8 pm, 7 days a week, you can stop by here for substantially-sized sandwiches and more than substantial-sized drinks. As the name suggests, you come here for the tortas, of which they have dozens of options. I typically order either a Sinaloa Especial with Milanesa breaded steak, Pierna (pork leg), jamón, salchicha (sausage), Swiss Cheese, tomatoes, and avocado or the Guamuchil with Milanesa breaded steak, Tocino (bacon), Queso Oaxaca, and avocado. All of the sandwiches are between $9 to $11 and are served with thick-cut, kettle-style fried potato chips. Beyond the tortas, the drinks here can be MASSIVE. I know it's excessive but whenever I dine here I have to order a gigantic 32 ounce aguafresca or smoothie, which'll run you between $4 or $7 depending on what you get. I took half home, it's a large sandwich. They also have lots of aguas, I opted for agua de coco, and it was so good! It even had pulp. For drinks regular is plenty, large is gigantic. My bf and his family really like Tortas Sinaloa. Personally, I've had larger and more flavorful tortas, but these are still pretty good. I like the Fontana: carne asada, a spread of refried beans, a thick grilled chunk of Mexican cheese, shredded lettuce, tomatoes (left off), and a good amount of avocado. The bread gets a little damp after its grilled and it needs more carne asada. Other than that, I enjoy it and it fills me up. People really seem to enjoy their large selection of Aguas Frescas, flavored waters and milks. I've tried the Fresa, strawberry, and while its too sweet for me to have a whole one to myself (the glasses are massive) I enjoy sharing it. They offer a self serve salsa bar which is delicious, and we also ordered some Carne Asada Tacos which come packed with juicy meat and thick, fresh corn tortillas. It came with a side of freshly made thick cut potato chips and pickled jalapeños! Also got the chips and guacamole with corn chips on the side. The guacamole was perfectly creamy; chips were standard. Watermelon Fresca was the perfect drink to go alongside my torta!
