With that in mind, urgent care billing team has been the worst part of the experience by far. I never received an itemized statement, despite numerous requests for one to be able to apply my FSA funds. After being told I had a $0 balance on the automated line, I was sent to collections. I finally got ahold of someone months later to explain what I needed, to be able to pay, and was given conflicting information. Representatives continue to be unhelpful, cannot do anything to pull this back from collections or remove collection fees, and have no care that this bill should have never been sent over in the first place. So now I owe more than before, which could have been taken care of simply, back in December. I will not be using urgent care services again.

The level of service and attention to patient care this team has is impeccable. I was in for an issue that turned out to be something they couldn't really handle as it would have been an elective surgery. They helped me reapply bandages the wound, wrote me a prescription and sent me on my way with a boat load of bandaging supplies for the time between now and the surgery with a specialist elsewhere. I went out of my way to get to this location and it was well worth it!

Both the medical assistant and nurse were pretty condescending about my symptoms. Last week, I watched two children at my work who both were diagnosed with pneumonia. Symptoms line up with pneumonia but also bronchitis or a cold and that's why I came to them. Now, I know that doesn't mean I have it also but I have been sick for the last few days and instead of talking to me more in depth about the symptoms both women told me why it couldn't be pneumonia and if that was my main concern "this isn't the place for me". Just not a welcoming or inviting experience and it doesn't make me want to go back.

You know the classic symptoms: horrible sore throat, low fever, chills. I waited only a couple of minutes after signing myself in to their computer system. They are staffed by a nurse practitioner who, like a doctor, can give physical exams and administer some medications. She gave me a strep test and looked over the rest of me before administering some antibiotics. I'm giving this particular Take Care Center five stars because of the nurse's wonderful bedside manners. I was a bit of a wreck when I walked in there that day, and she was the kindest woman I've ever met. She seemed so caring; it made me feel so much better just by her warmth alone. I'm probably going to have to send her a Christmas card now, just because I feel like she deserves it.

I've been using TAUC for several years now and for several reasons…read more Firstly, they're affordable, regardless which kind of insurance I was carrying (or none at all) they discount their services and only request payment if you have a copay. After that, they'll work with you on paying your invoices. Secondly, and a near tie to the firstly, despite or in spite of the affordability, all the locations, this one included, offer EXCEPTIONAL CARE with nurses, physicians, and technologists who want to help you get better and put their patients first. It's also quite clean. Not hospital clean, cleaner! I've been to hospitals and other urgent cares before where I thought about whether I'd get more sick by being there. Not at any of the TAUC that I've utilized. Another advantage to TAUC, this location I know, not sure if it's true for all of them, they have X-ray, CT, blood and urine testing, all the amenities of an ER without the tired, rushed docs and nurses and without the huge scary bill. You can honestly come here for anything from cold and flu to broken bones to I don't know what's wrong with me. Summary- if you need urgent care, go where they care. Affordable, professional, and close to your home. Ya I sound like a commercial, but this is why I'm loyal to this urgent care chain.

I chose this urgent care because of the excellent reviews, which makes my experience even more…read moredisappointing. When I arrived, I explained that it felt like something was stuck in my throat or airway. I was told - verbatim - that they "wouldn't touch me with a 10-foot pole." That was shocking and unprofessional. Instead of evaluating me, they immediately directed me to the ER. The ER visit ended up costing me $800, where I waited about two hours only to be prescribed amoxicillin - something the urgent care could have easily done themselves. Later, when I saw an ENT, I was told my symptoms were due to acid reflux. My symptoms had already been present for three days, so it clearly was not an emergency airway obstruction. It's frustrating that neither the urgent care nor the ER considered reflux as a possibility before escalating the situation. Being told they "didn't want to take my money" feels ironic, considering I was sent somewhere significantly more expensive for essentially the same level of care. I would not recommend this facility. Patients deserve to feel evaluated and respected - not dismissed.

I used to love this place. There is one provider who I still love, but when my kids or I don't get…read moreto see her, it's marginal at best. My last visit, however was horrendous. I have an MRI confirmed labral tear plus impingement in my hip. I also have hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, among other things, which makes my joints unstable and pop out of place, plus puts me at a much greater risk for injury. While trying to step on the leg with the labral tear, the leg collapsed, causing my hip to sublux, my knee collapsed and jerked sideways with my kneecap shifting one way and my femor going the other. It hurt like hell and both joints swelled and became discolored. I tried to nurse it at home because females with pain, especially chronic pain are treated like sh*t at ERs and UCs. Even with taking the Norco I already had at home, the pain got worse so I couldn't sleep or walk and I had a big flare up of migraine and occipital neuralgia. I was in so much pain from all of these things, so I finally decided to go to TAUC because I knew they could do imaging to check for worsened/additional injuries, and knowing I had an MRI confirmed tear in my hip labrum (among other issues) so they couldn't try to tell me there was nothing wrong. I was mistaken. Dr. DeLucia was hostile the minute he walked into the room, asking "Why are you here? What do you expect me to do? I'm not giving you any meds." I calmly explained that I had a tear in my left hip and that I was concerned that I worsened the existing injury and also injured my knee. I explained that I even took the Norco that I had at home, but when it didn't help like it normally did, it made me wondered if I caused further injury. I tried to pull up the MRI report confirming the labral tear and he said, "I don't need to see it, it doesn't matter." He walked over, sharply jerked my hip & knee back and forth and the pain was so severe that I shrieked and tried to jump off the table to get away. He said, "Other than the pain you claim you have, there is nothing that indicates any issue." He ordered zero imaging to back that claim up, didn't even raise my pant leg to see the swelling and discoloration. He asked why I didn't just go to my PCP (It was the weekend) he challenged my allergy to steroids that was diagnosed by my Dr after anaphylactic symptoms, plus they are contraindicated in patients who have my health issues, and told me that "if I thought I really had pain I should see a pain management dr. When I told him that I DID have a pain management Dr, he goes, "Oh yeah? Who?" and after I told him the name, he says, "Hmmm, that's funny that I have never heard of him." He walked out saying there was nothing he could do for me. And the biggest problem was when he flat out lied in my chart and said, "Patient asked for Norco by name." I absolutely did NOT, I told him multiple times that I had it at home and had been taking it at home and only came in because it was less effective than usual, making me wonder if I had worsened my existing hip injury as well as causing new injury to my knee. Dr. DeLucia was hostile, careless, spiteful, and FLAT OUT LIED in my chart. Honestly, he's lucky that a bad review is the only action I decided to take after that visit.

Billing issues were resolved in a timely and reasonable manner. We are a repeat and valued…read morecustomer of Total Access Urgent Care.
