I have an older exotic car. Small, and fragile. I've learned, living in Miami for many years, that finding someone to do quality work is near impossible. Sometimes you feel compelled to pay more than the average just to get average work done. I used google search to find a quality audio installer. The company I used did not do a very good job, despite getting high reviews. Total Auto Protection definitely deserves a five star rating! It was not easy for them to work on my car. The material under the dash were thin and old, and some of it came apart. The power seat console came apart just from the installer laying on the seat. The car is over twenty years old. Nonetheless, they still did a quality install. Total Auto Protection was thorough, helpful, professional, clean, and everything else you could possibly hope from a reputable business. About a year ago I had a total disaster by having a high-end $1,500 stereo installed by Digital Sound and Wheels on South Dixie highway. They scratched my dash, and installed two of the speakers in a way that electric windows hit them when rolled down. While I fixed those problems myself, a year later sound only came out of one side of the car. I researched the internet for a stereo installer with the best reviews in Miami and found Total Auto Protection through Yelp. Jeff very quickly found the problem which was related to how some of the wiring had been done between the amp, speakers and receiver. He also found and fixed a few other problems in how the initial installation had been done. He was very professional and friendly throughout, and charged a very reasonable fee. I stopped in and met Jeff. He asked me what was I looking for in an alarm system. He made a few suggestions/recommendations. He was very professional and down to earth guy. If you're looking for an honest person who genuinely wants to fulfill your needs, this is the place to go. I've been to numerous shops and sadly I have encountered quite a few bad apples (overpricing, installed parts without asking, etc.). I've had some issues with my HIDs and he managed to fix them for about $10. Any other shop would have thrown in a new ballast/bulb regardless of the issue.
