Ok, this is going to be a long one. I found Dr. Ryan while looking for a chiropractor that works with babies. My 10 month old (at the time) had a slight neck torticollis which was missed by everyone. This caused him to develop a tiny flat spot on the back of his head, so I figured we needed a good chiropractor to check him out. Dr. Ryan was totally amazing with my little guy. It has been almost 2 years since and Dr. Ryan has become our main doctor. He even adjusted my wrist that I somehow dislocated and didn't even know it, other than hurting like I had broken it. My husband, myself and my 3 children all love going for our treatments and can feel the benefits. I have major issues with my back from playing division 1 tennis, having 3 kids and breaking a couple ribs in a car accident. When I first started going to Dr. Ryan I literally couldn't stand up straight, and the pain from my broken ribs was excruciating. He was able to work around my ribs and adjust everything to help my body heal. Most importantly he can adjust my lower back where I have an annular tear. The adjustment lines everything back up and I am pain free anywhere from 2 to 5 weeks, until I overdo life basically, so then I just get adjusted again :) I had previously spent 6 months in physical therapy for my back and could never get to being pain free. I have been a patient/client at Total Life Chiropractic & Wellness for about 5 months now and couldn't be happier with the staff, service and results! Watching my mother's posture develop into a humped/sway back and her resulting degrading health really concerned me, as I was noticing my own posture start to degrade slightly. Attempting to be proactive, I went to TLC&W to seek help based on a friend's strong recommendation. I truly feel that they both genuinely care about me and my wellness, such that I feel like I am their only patient/client (even though they have many). The results/progress so far are nothing short of amazing! I (and others) can see the difference in my posture already and the corresponding improvements in my health (for example, my breathing is better from less pressure on my lungs, which in turn improves my sleep). Visiting Total Life and being in the care of Dr. Pat and Dr. Gerry has been nothing short of life changing. About 9 years ago my son was born with Torticollis and Plagiocephaly. Basically, his neck would only turn in one direction and he needed to wear one of those cute little helmets 24 hours a day. After PT for a few months we needed to do more than what was being done. It just wasn't working for our situation. Why? Because of subluxation. Enter our very first visit.... Dr.Ryan is a literal miracle worker! Before seeing him I had I left bundle branch blockage in my heart which is basically an electrical current that does not work. He did certain adjustments focusing on getting everything in that area back to where it's supposed to be and to mine and everybody's surprise at my cardiologists I went back to having a fully normal heart and it has stayed this way for the last nine months. I originally started seeing him for my neck which he has been amazing with. And most recently I got lip filler and a nerve on my top left side got extremely sluggish to the point where it looks like my lip was drooping and he adjusted behind my ear where the nerve runs and pretty much right away movement came back the sluggish nerve got itchy and I could feel it coming back to normal! If there were additional stars these guys would earn them. They are the real deal. Dr Patrick and his wife Dr. Gerri are a phenomenal team of healers. The Gonsted technique of chiropractic care ( which they practice) should be the gold standard as it is body specific to whatever your individual problems may be not just a general alignment. I have been going to them for 6 years and have maintained an excellent level of health. Through my adult years I was 5'4". When I first started with Dr. Patrick I had shrunk to 5'31/2" due to my age. I've been going to Dr. Ryan for 3 months now and I am feeling so much better. When I started my neck pain was so bad I could not even turn my head to the left and my lower back and feet were just killing me.
