I've been going to this location for three years for convenience. But recently I feel the quality of the office staff assistance has diminished significantly. I frequently have to call several times before reaching anyone because they will leave you on hold forever. Had x-rays taken I needed copies to take to specialist. The very rude and uncaring front desk lady answered that a Pain Management specialist is only available for people involved in accidents or slip and fall. My daughter was in a car accident and, after being treated terribly by another local "urgent care" practice, was treated like she deserved to be by this practice! They genuinely cared about her and her injuries, physical and mental, as a result of this accident. All of the staff was very kind and compassionate to her. Would give 0 stars if I could. After going here for years they recently took on a new manager in billing and her attitude and aptitude SUCKS to put it nicely. I had to stop going to them because I moved and recently had been having one incident after another w/billing. I've been moved now for over 4 months and just got a $700 bill in the mail for appts that were covered by my insurance company. No one called to resolve this and I get this letter threatening me and my credit!!! Do yourself a favor... no matter how nice you think staff is... they are inept and make fun of you and roll their eyes at you behind your back. I watched them do it! They will constantly bill you incorrectly and then tell you to deal w/your insurance company as they try to ruin your credit. Also they fired the one Dr who all he did was talk about himself for an hour as I'm sitting there w/pneumonia & congestion waiting to get the hell outta there to get some medication!!!! I don't know what happened to this place but it's gone to hell in a hand basket! And they have a suit on their hands if they think they are gonna mess w/my credit for their screwups! read more

I started going to this location several years ago for Dr. Jose Orta, an amazing Chiropractor that I had been going to previously. After my appointment yesterday I left all of my symptoms dissipated (as usual after an appointment with him)! I am pregnant & had been at home for the past month with bad neck & back pain, migraines, severe sensitivity to light, light headedness, extreme fatigue, nausea & vomiting. Not only did I leave feeling great but I had the best nights sleep I've had in months, zero nausea since my appointment yesterday AND I worked out for the first time in two months. I am so thankful I am beginning to feel like myself again! I will admit each time I go I don't expect the staff to be very friendly because this is a chain, which I am not fond of- I go to private healthcare providers. However, the staff each time is so patient, kind and treats me like a person not a number. They actually greet me & listen to my response, unlike many places. What a scam. Went in for an X-ray. Technician was busy, then he went to lunch. Waited around for almost two hours for an X-ray. Spoke to a nurse, or whatever she was for 2 min since I only went in for an X-ray. Couldn't wait around any longer so I rescheduled. Canceled my appointment because i was feeling better. So I spoke to someone for 2 min, never got an X-ray & they billed my insurance $700??? Also got a bill in the mail for $51. Are you kidding me??? What a scam this place is. GREAT PHYSICAL THERAPIST! John in physical therapy is amazing. I have a shoulder problem for nearly 20 years and had been to other Orthopedic Offices who recommended Physical Therapy, but they never listened to what I had to say. They kept telling me it was my neck, or back. When I first went in John was also Skeptical as I kept saying it's under my shoulder blade. He researched what I was saying and found the problem. After going to them for only two weeks (four sessions) my shoulder has never felt better! Finally someone who listened to what I had to say and addressed the problem. Just had a great experience with Total MD. The admins were efficient and actually knew what was going on. My wait was short and all staff members worked well together...highly organized. I can't tell you how many doctor's offices I've been to where it's chaos. Elizabeth, the Nurse Practioner was attentive, intelligent and he exuded passion and care about my situation. Gina, the Medical Assistant was equally as caring and bright! The co-pay was only $25 to boot for top-level care. Clearly, I am highly recommending them! read more

Made an appointment to see a Doctor and all I got to see was a Nurse. Nothing against Nurses but there is an important difference. There is a difference between a Doctor not prescribing medication because they don't feel it is medically necessary and a Nurse saying they won't prescribe a medication because in truth they can't! read more

Go somewhere else. I was told they rarely have doctors in the Cypress Creek location so your dealing with physician assistances who dont know as much or are as good when it comes to your welbeing. A complete waste of $250. Manager of facility doesnt return calls. Front desks employees very immature. After over 3 months doing phisiotherapy at this place, I'd expected to be better. In the beginning I had an ok impression, however, after weeks, the quality of the service performed were no longer the same. The lack of knowledge was clear at times, and I realized that I was just one more client, not real care at all, or they would just pretend they cared. Then the unexpected, I called the office in Fort Lauderdale, who redirected me to another office in West Palm Beach to ask for a simple paper with the days I had been there. She said I had to go in person to WPB! They couldn't send to my mail, e-mail, neither their OWN office in Fort Lauderdale! So I had to drive 38 MILES to pick up this paper... Disrespectful! Senseless! Now I'm paying a private therapist. In 3 weeks of therapy with him I'm almost 100%... If I had known... Plese do yourself a favor, find somewhere else! read more

There's a common issue that a lot of medical offices seem to share. Great doctors, I mean Dr Orta is awesome, knowledgable, friendly really awesome. The downside ? The office staff are just dunces. I was randomly scheduled for appointments I didn't make. The medical reports are total fabrication. It's basically a mill, process as many people as possible charge as much as possible and provide as little care as possible. I've reported them for insurance fraud and filed a complaint with the state. read more

I personally have had the best experience at Total MD over the past few months. I was experiencing severe back pain over the past few months and came to Total MD from a personal referral. Through their use of chiropractic and physical therapy treatments, I am able to say that my back pain has significantly decreased and most days I am completely not in pain now. Total MD was able to pinpoint the cause of my back pain and treat it accordingly. John Arena is one of the best physical therapists I have come to know. He is very professional and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Aquino and Dr. Orta were also integral in determining the cause of my pain. Further, the staff at Total MD has been very friendly and welcoming. I could not ask for better care! I too would give 0 or less stars if I could. I have been there for my annual physical and before to do those tests I have asked to the front desk, after showing my insurance, and the doctor later when I met with her if they were completely free. Don't worry they kept telling me, they are free. Well, guess what? few weeks later I started receiving bills from their facility and Quest-Diagnostic. I don't know how many times I had to go back and forth from the insurance and Total MD billing department for those bills. Each time their excuse was the wrong code submitted to the insurance. After 8 months I had to pay more than $200 because the insurance didn't cover some of the tests they made without consulting the insurance. Total MD was blaming the insurance and vice-versa, but I was the one to pay for their mistakes. Besides that, all my questions to Total MD were answered all the time with attitude and in such nasty way. Greedy people without any respect for the patient. For them is all about money. You are a business for them... It's sad but it's so more and more. Wish an attorney would read this post and do something. Don't go there, and make in writing whatever you ask as well their answers. read more

I saw the amazing Dr Golin! She is amazing, on point, super smart and very innovative. She is an amazing listener and brainstorms ideas with you before she takes actions. The doctor here was great but the girl at the front desk with the glasses and short dreads was not helpful at all. I have never been there before so I knew nothing about how the place even worked and she didnt walk me through the process. She just handed me a post it and said this is your account number, apparently I was supposed to sign in online to pay my bill but she didnt even tell me how or where to sign in. The other girl with long hair was more helpful she was polite and explain things. Wouldnt recommend this one in particular because of that receptionist. The over all experience was okay but she literally just let me sit there like i knew i was supposed to sign in online and pay before seeing the doctor, shes not friendly at all. I have nothing but nice things to say about this urgent care. They accept walk-ins and appointments as well. They are accommodating and friendly. I have never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes to be seen. It is convenient to where I live and I will definitely continue to come here for my medical needs. read more
