What was I going to do??? I searched the internet and found Shani. She also has vet tech background so I am comfortable if, when I'm away, one of the kids are sick. She knows when it's serious and when it's not. She spends around an hour 3 times a day with them and walks them (They are not great on a leash). She brings in the mail. We arranged for overnight pet sitting, and a daily walk/visit in the middle of the day. Leasa and Holly came over before our trip to meet the dogs and get a tour of the house. Our smaller dog warmed right up to Holly and fell asleep snuggling her before the end of the visit. During the meet and greet, they took very detailed notes about EVERYTHING including where to find the food, where the leashes were stored, typical walking routes, etc. By the end of the visit, we felt very good about our decision to have them watch the pups. Throughout our trip, we enjoyed getting updates in the app and seeing pictures of how the dogs' days were going. I would highly recommend Fetch! to anyone looking for in-home pet care.

The facility was built with dogs in mind...before it was A Walk In The Park, the building was the home of the Toledo Area Humane Society. The building is more than large enough, and the yard is even bigger. The staff is awesome...just plain awesome. You can tell that every single person working here really loves dogs, and the dogs, at least my dog, seems to love all of them. We recently left our puppy here when we weren't able to take him with us on vacation. My wife, who still does Facebook (LOL), logged in daily to see videos and pix of the pack including our boy, so she and the kids (and me too, I guess) felt connected. When we got home and went to pick him up, he was happy to see all four of us, but he didn't want to leave...I guess dogs really are pack animals. We also utilize doggie daycare a couple time per week. As far as pet safety goes, and I might not have this exactly right, but I think the dogs are grouped by age and size. That is, the large breed puppies are kept together, and the small breed puppies are keep together. The large breed adults are kept together...etc. In other words, you don't have to worry about your chihuahua pup getting eaten by a Doberman. Great business, and great location. Five stars.
