They contacted us within that time frame and we were scheduled for install within a week or so of the promised schedule. They were no pressure when giving the estimate. Almost so laid back that I initially thought they didn't need the business since it was a relatively small job! However, it is just their approach which was good. The installers showed up EXACTLY on time. Very polite, clean cut group of men who worked quickly and efficiently. Installed in 3.5 hours! They left the house cleaner than when they came. Seriously :) Windows look wonderful and I would highly recommend the company.

All were happy. Skyline gave me a list of many people who had their windows and agreed to be references! They stood out because their interview was low key, low pressure and full of useful information. One house got the Okna 500 series and a couple of years later, I chose the Okna 800 series. It is now 5 years later and both houses are problem free. It is now time for me to change out my old wood windows and I am again using Skyline. Why? Because Jared, the owner, is helpful and knowledgeable and I can count on him to be sure my experience will be headache free. They are a pleasure to work with, start to finish, and I cannot recommend him highly enough!

I am writing you today, because I'm experiencing my first work ticket. What a disaster. This company must be barely hanging on for their dear lives. Technician came to repair a couple items such as re-key a door cylinder (they sprayed WD40), replace a below door weather strip (wasn't bad enough), rust on the door (only covered it for 1-year), magnetic kick plate (they attempted to get it off with a screwdriver because they saw no screws. This is all commonsense work...I could only imagine if it required real technical knowledge. Run, run as fast and far as you can. The 1-star rating was to by-pass the system so I could send. Otherwise, it would have been a negative rating!

From the beginning, I made it very clear that I wanted 100% communication and no misunderstandings. The salesperson assured me the entire project (windows, gutters, shutters, etc.) would take about 2-3 months. I was aware I was paying above average, but I trusted their reputation. That turned out to be a mistake. The problems started right away. I assumed measurements were taken during the initial visit, but they weren't. I had to take time off work for another appointment, and the person they sent was in and out in about 20 minutes. After that, communication completely broke down. I had to repeatedly call just to get updates. Months went by with no clear timeline for installation. Every time I spoke to someone, I got a different answer. The office staff seemed completely disorganized, and emails were confusing or contradicted each other. Eventually, I spoke with managers, and even they admitted there were mistakes and miscommunication. But nothing was actually resolved. When installation finally happened, it was poorly handled. They sent only one person to install gutters, which was inefficient and unprofessional. To make matters worse, they somehow retained my payment information and charged me without my authorization, which is extremely concerning. At one point, a manager apologized but then started mentioning that if I canceled, I could be legally responsible. That is when I completely lost confidence. It felt more like a threat than an attempt to resolve the situation--especially considering they had not fulfilled their obligations despite receiving a large deposit. They later came out to take pictures and "check" the work, but it felt like they were trying to protect themselves rather than fix the issues. I have lost an unbelievable amount of time dealing with this--taking off work, making calls, and sending emails. To this day, I still have an issue with one of the windows. I reached out again and received a response that made no sense, and I still have no real answer. Also, their "lifetime warranty" is not even through them--it's through a third party, which was never clearly explained upfront. Overall, this has been an exhausting and frustrating experience. I strongly recommend being very cautious before choosing this company and considering other options. Look for the response towards any complaints they're completely generic. They don't even give at least any kind of explanation as to why of things occurred. I would take my business elsewhere. You're gonna get robbed. They're charge you an astronomical price for something that anybody else could've done much cheaper.

Keith could not have been nicer and was very apologetic with their delayed response to a few issues we had concerning the deck they had built for us. Sometimes customer service is lacking in this country right now, but not with Smallwood Renovation if it isn't right they will do everything in their power to make it right. It took them three days to do our roof. It is a large challenging roof. Giving five stars because of the finished job, however they did not protect our yard and we had a huge mess the first day that was not picked up until the next morning.
