Less than two years ago, George installed a water filtration system in my home. He was friendly and…read moreseemed trustworthy at the time. However, from the start, there were issues: he wasn't able to filter all my water lines. My laundry room and guest bathroom were left unfiltered, which was disappointing, but I accepted it. About 2-3 weeks ago, my house flooded. I discovered that George had tied into my water line in a highly unusual and unsafe way, using four SharkBite fittings -- which are intended only for temporary fixes. The leak occurred under my water heater, allowing water to flow into my master bedroom and flood the entire room. As a result, I've spent over $1,000 repairing plumbing and replacing my carpet. On top of that, I spent an entire Saturday night vacuuming water and tearing out the padding under my carpet to minimize damage. I have attempted to contact George multiple times to see how he can help rectify this situation, but he has not returned any of my messages. I want to warn others: George may be personable, but his installation work is unprofessional. If something goes wrong, don't expect him to take responsibility.
