    David and his other team member did a great job installing our new water softening system and under-sink reverse osmosis filter system last Wednesday. They were very professional and respectful while working in our garage and kitchen. It was a full day of work, which included digging in the front yard to tap into the main water lines. We are excited that both systems are completely non-electric!

    I had a leak in my reverse osmosis system. I called the service line and someone was at my house…read moretwo hours later to fix it. Taysean showed up before the appointment time and had everything up and running in no time! He even updated the hardware and installed a leak detector to keep my kitchen from flooding if it ever happens again. Everything was covered and didn't cost me a dime. I am thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend Puragain based on their customer service alone.

    I recently had a very disappointing experience with this company and wanted to share it so others…read moreare aware. I called and spoke with Sherry Dorsey after noticing salt underneath my water softener container. She told me it was probably cracked and scheduled a technician to come out and take a look. I asked what it might be, and she again mentioned it could be a crack but said the technician would need to inspect it to confirm. When the technician arrived, I was on a company call, so my son opened the garage and allowed him to inspect the unit. The technician told my son he would take a look, which was completely fine. About 20 minutes later, he handed my son an invoice for $368. My son told me the technician never provided a quote or discussed the cost before completing the repair--he simply gave him the bill. I called Sherry to ask why I was never given a quote before the work was done. Her response was, "Why didn't your son ask how much it would cost? That's what I would have done." In my experience, reputable companies typically provide a quote before performing repairs, without the customer needing to ask. To be clear, I told her I had no issue paying for the service. I simply asked if she could reduce the bill by $68 so we could split part of the labor cost since no quote was provided beforehand. She was very difficult about it and repeatedly insisted that no one had ever questioned their services. I asked one final time if she could reduce half the labor, and if not, I would just pay the full amount. She eventually agreed to charge $300 but stated that they would never perform repairs or services for us again. Considering I originally purchased my water softener from them, the entire interaction was extremely disappointing. It wasn't about avoiding payment--it was about basic communication and customer service. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled left a very negative impression.
