I just finished my second round of physical therapy at Total Sports Therapy. I had my right knee replaced in August 2023 and my left knee December 2023. Both times I ended up going three times a week for two and half months of PT. I can't say enough about the facility and the staff. A HUGE shout out to Andrew Latta (Doctor of Physical Therapy) and the techs that assist him. Andrew did an OUTSTANDING job with my exercise routine and PT to get both knees in great shape. Now it is back to hiking and being pain free. I hope I never have the need to go back, but if I do need physical therapy in the future, without question, I would go back to Total Sports Therapy. Great place! I completely tore my ACL, which required a graft. I also had some damage to my medial meniscus that required repair. I've been at TST North Phoenix for the past nine months and Joe and his team have been great. In pre-hab they prepared me for surgery, which really made a difference in my post-op rehab. They had the right balance of pushing me when I needed it and listening to my concerns. His team was professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and friendly. Joe even called me after my surgery to see how I was doing. Things like that go a long way, especially today were customer service is severely lacking. It has been a long journey, but I couldn't be happier with my results. I would highly recommend TST and specifically Joe Gazo in North Phoenix if you're in need of physical therapy. I had PT for 3 months for 2-3 days a week due to a total knee replacement. The staff and facility are great. I would not have gone for the whole three months if I didn't feel I was getting improvement in my knee every time I went. I had my one year follow up visit with the doctor who did my knee replacement surgery. Everything looked good and he was pleased, that at age 70, I had joined a gym and was working hard to continue my recovery and conditioning progress. We both agreed that it would be beneficial for me to work with Total Sports Therapy, where I received my post-surgery rehab and had made remarkable progress under the care of Dr. Cory Tatman and his staff. The purpose of these PT visits was to build on the progress I already made under their care, and more importantly to ensure that I was doing things correctly and safely in my new fitness program to avoid potential injury. My six PT sessions with Dr. Cory at Total Sports Therapy accomplished everything I was looking for. They fine tuned my exercise routine, identified problem areas and taught me stretching techniques to use to avoid pain in my quads, glutes and hips. Overall, it was a very beneficial step to take on my ongoing road to recovery and improvement following total knee replacement. Dr. Drew Giardina and his team of physical therapists were so professional and so caring in delivering expert attention to my shoulder problem. They're located at 4730 E Lone Mountain Rd in Cave Creek, AZ. I was also quite happy that they accept Medicare with a referral from your doctor. Dr. Andrew Latta, who was my PT, and I found him to be extremely thorough from his evaluation all the way to my "graduation". He was thoughtful, understanding, compassionate, and he listened to my feedback each time I had a session. Everyone who assisted him were well versed in my exercises and were especially attentive. It was also a happy, positive place to be as I had some serious issues that needed to be worked through. The cheerfulness was an additional plus in my healing. Dr. Andrew was most adaptive by tailoring my therapy to my body rather than just exercises in general. Great place, great caring people! read more

This place is awesome! I was diagnosed with MS 18 years ago. I've been determined to overcome the walking difficulties and keep/build strength. This is not a "normal" way to approach MS. The TST therapists and techs had my back immediately. I am now walking without a cane! I walked with it for 12 years! It's in the back of my closet now. My next goal is to climb stairs without a handrail & then to be able to run again. The therapists and techs at TST are amazing people who truly care and are gifted at what they do. Terrible customer service. Walked in as a new patient, waited while the receptionist helped a customer schedule follow ups (10 minutes) and was never even acknowledged. Then waited another 5 as she was doing paperwork and a lady from the back comes up and wants to schedule more appointments and she immediately starts helping her and continued to ignore me. Carpet in front looks like it hadn't been vacuumed in a week so after those issues walked out to go somewhere else where they realize what customer service is worth. read more

Came in for 6 weeks of PT for iliotibial band syndrome as result of overtraining for triathlons. Worked primarily with Drew who was great, very knowledgable on sport related injuries and therapy options, gave solid advice and got me back to running. The facility was new and up to date. Drew and his assistants were always friendly, welcoming and great to chat with. Getting appointments was easy and they're open late. read more

The staff was friendly but I was very unimpressed by the doctor. Very cocky and not personable. Several sessions of physical therapy with this business did not fix my problem. During my appointments they gave me a list of exercises and often made me feel forgotten as they weren't ensuring I was doing the exercises properly or checking back regularly. I could have saved myself time and money by finding a list of exercises online, which I ultimately did to fix my problem as the tutorials and examples provided a much better explanation. Also, they weren't happy about billing my secondary insurance but finally did so as a "courtesy" but REFUSED to bill me based off the secondary. This may be legal but it's certainly unethical and I've never had another medical office do this. read more
