Both times I ended up going three times a week for two and half months of PT. I can't say enough about the facility and the staff. A HUGE shout out to Andrew Latta (Doctor of Physical Therapy) and the techs that assist him. Andrew did an OUTSTANDING job with my exercise routine and PT to get both knees in great shape. Now it is back to hiking and being pain free. I hope I never have the need to go back, but if I do need physical therapy in the future, without question, I would go back to Total Sports Therapy. Kristen quickly identified the areas that needed strengthening, the areas that needed stretching and prescribed a group of exercises that had immediate effects. After only 2 visits I'm nearing the end of my treatment and my knee feels like new. Oh, and on top of really knowing what they're doing here, everyone on the staff is super nice and works really hard to make the experience a positive one. I've been to a few PT operations and you won't find more qualified, pleasant therapists and staff anywhere.

The people working there are totally competent and super friendly. My therapist, Ozzie was superb. He was a total professional and got me through my rehab with much success. I was scared of rehab in the beginning but they were so confident and capable it was easy to put my trust in them. They made evaluations as I progressed and I learned quite a bit about my situation, so I felt confident about everything we were doing. Should you ever find yourself in need of therapy take yourself to Center for Athletic Performance and Therapy. You will appreciate the professionalism and knowledge.

Extremely disappointed with ATI Physical Therapy and their billing practices…read more Before I even scheduled my first appointment, I specifically asked them to verify my insurance and tell me exactly what my cost would be per visit. I was told it would be approximately $60. I intentionally waited several days for them to verify my insurance information before moving forward because I wanted to know the cost upfront. At my first visit, I was charged $65. It was $5 more than quoted, but I didn't make an issue of it. Now, approximately 25 days later, ATI is trying to charge me an ADDITIONAL $95 for that same visit. That brings the total cost of ONE physical therapy visit to $160. When I called customer service, I was told the original $65 was supposedly only a "deposit." That was NEVER explained to me. Had I been told that $65 was simply a deposit and that I could later be billed another $95, I would have never agreed to the appointment. What makes this especially frustrating is that I specifically asked for the cost BEFORE scheduling and gave them time to verify everything with my insurance. Their customer service experience only made the situation worse. Patients deserve transparency about what they are agreeing to pay. Quoting someone around $60, collecting $65 at the appointment, and then nearly a month later billing another $95 is completely unacceptable to me. I would absolutely NOT recommend ATI Physical Therapy based on my experience. If you decide to use them, I strongly recommend getting your expected TOTAL cost in writing before receiving any services.

I revisited Key following an assault I was the victim of at age 77. It resulted in a titanium hip/leg replacement in October '25 and 3 subsequent weeks in rehab. They enabled me to heal from an open reduction/internal fixation of my dominant right leg. I entered unable to stand from a chair and on a walker. After an intensive 3X/wk regimen at Key for 8 pmonths, I returned to my pre-assault condition going to the gym for walking, power yoga and weightlifting. I worked with Austin years ago when he had another employer and stayed in touch... So when I had a super painful pickleball injury, he was one of the first people I reached out to. I was pleased that he was able to fit me into his busy schedule with short notice and 24 hours after my injury, I felt a major improvement! I hobbled into PT3 unsure of what to expect, and admittedly wasn't pleased when I learned that they don't accept insurance, but the facility, the one-on-one attention, and that vibration modality that others have mentioned, were super worth it! Austin is amazing with not only identifying the pain, but explaining the injury in layman's terms and also what the patient can do to improve. He connects with each patient and has a ton of experience as an athlete and a PT. He is patient and kind. I will be returning to PT3 to work with Austin in the future for sure, and I see they also offer personal training and performance training, so I have a feeling that no matter what you're goals are, PT3 can help!

They really understand how horrible you feel after surgery and they do whatever they can to help you. I haven't been to a place in a long time where the entire staff is awesome. I think I'm going to be very sad after my last session here. If anyone asks me where to go for physical therapy, I'm sending them here to Foothills Sports Medicine because they are the absolute best. Last year I was in a major car accident and left with lifelong injuries. I received nine months of care under Dr. Dickerson and the team and Dr Joel has stepped into that role. It should go without saying that this team is so good at what they do, I justify driving from Casa Grande to this location at least once a week ~ 65 miles and 1-1/2 hrs in traffic) It's worth every mile, every minute, and every dollar spent on gas. I have been going here for the past 2 months twice a week doing physical therapy for a total knee replacement. From the front office check-in staff to my therapist, Kevin Allen, I appreciated the professionalism of the staff and the fact that my therapist was always on time for my appointments. Kevin showed me empathy, encouragement and a large variety of exercises I could do at home in between my appointments. He was always very patient with me on days when my knee felt a little stiff. He is a great listener and always gave me tips not only for exercises put something as simple as the balm he used in massaging my knee. He pushed me just enough to make me want to do more both here and at home. Now that my time is over I will continue my therapy at at gym going 3 times a week using the equipment that I don't have at home. Thank you Kevin for a wonderful physical therapy experience!
