For some reason they couldn't send anybody out to help us and we were missing a piece that was supposed to already be in our new place. Our experience with customer service was increasingly more frustrating with every call so we decided to cancel. In one last attempt, we stopped by this store and our experience here with the manager was even worse. He didn't believe us when we told him the issue we were having and seemed more interested in proving us wrong than he was with helping us. He was very defensive and short, maybe he was having a hard day but I honestly don't think anything justified his attitude, he was so difficult to talk to. To this day, that piece that was supposed to be in our house that this manager refused to believe was not NOT in our house? Yeah it isn't there, trust me, we've looked in every room and have now lived there for a few months. When we said this originally, the manager of this store wouldn't believe us, even when I pointed at the picture of what was missing. Although it took being on the phone for 3 hours to finally get them to let us cancel our service (despite downright begging to just send us to an end of service worker because for some reason only they can do it) cancelling was the best decision we made. I had this issue with them over 5 years ago but hoped that that experience was just a fluke. Well, it's not, it's the norm. Just the last week we had another worker who was in our neighborhood knocking on doors trying to get people to switch to AT&T and I had to tell him no multiple times before he would accept it as an answer. AT&T, for the love of god, let people go when they say no. I will never be a customer of theirs ever again. Heads up to anyone who just wants wifi: (the manager of the store even said this) if you don't have phone service through them, getting them to help you will be harder.
