The lady who was helping me out was very kind and polite. She took the much needed time to help get everything transferred that I needed And helped immensely when choosing a phone. I found it kind of strange when I was asked to have a photo taken of me holding a paper about their promo for their monthly streaming service for their phones. Why they waited til I was the only customer in there To do that, I will never know That was the only thing that made me very uncomfortable The other employee a man who tried to convince me to buy it after I politely declined asked me to do that and said he would be in the picture but stood 6 feet away for social distancing, then they were tagging either him or I or both for the photo , I wish that whole ordeal hadn't been going on As it made me extremely uncomfortable I hope they didn't post my photo with that promo And I sure hope they didn't tag him when I was the only one holding it, and I sure hope they didn't tag me without my permission

To make a long story short, the refurbished iPhone 12 that Asurion sent me on 5.13.2025 was defective, and although it took 3 trips to AT&T Skokie and another replacement being sent overnight to me by Asurion, AT&T Skokie helped me throughout the entire process, and by Friday 5.30.2025, I had a working iPhone again. (the 3 trips were in no way the fault of AT&T Skokie, it was due to the defective refurbished iPhone 12 that Asurion sent me on 5.13.2025) I want to give a shout-out and appreciation to both Gerardo and Byron. There knowledge and Customer Service was outstanding, and hopefully knock on wood all my iPhone issues are OK now, but if anything goes wrong again and/or it's time to buy a new phone, my first stop will definitely be AT&T in Skokie. The laptop hinge issue fix was ok but the time was extremely long as the owner was ordering parts and there was a wait. I think more communication would have gone a long way. But I…read moredid have an easy experience in the store yesterday returning my old modem (that has been spotty recently) and getting a new one. While troubleshooting my modem issues online I ended up "upgrading" my internet plan since my contract was up, but I managed to get the same price I was paying for another year without a contract and with a free modem and twice the internet speed. Score. (I wanted the 5 year price lock guarantee, but that wasn't available). I didn't want to deal with shipping a modem back and forth so I ran into the store to swap it out. It took like 30 seconds to return it, and then they got me the new one a minute or two later and I was on my way. Probably the least obnoxious Xfinity store experience I've had....hopefully next year when my price promo is up it won't be frustrating.
