    WARNING: Avoid TCC at All Costs…read more TCC may look like a Verizon store, but it's only an authorized retailer and our experience shows why that matters. Our family's nearly six-month ordeal was caused by the dishonesty, misinformation, and incompetence of Stephany R., a TCC sales representative, and her supervisor Jonathan. Her conduct was unacceptable: false claims that protection plans were mandatory, hidden fees, inconsistent explanations about trade-ins, arrogance, and rudeness when we questioned unnecessary add-ons. She refused to give supervisor contact info, offered empty reassurances instead of solutions, and left us to clean up the mess with Verizon corporate. 1. The Visit -- June 6 After 23 years as Verizon customers, we visited TCC to upgrade four iPhone 13s to iPhone 16s. Verizon confirmed all lines qualified for free upgrades with trade-ins. Stephany verified this but nothing went smoothly: -Protection Plan Pressure: She falsely insisted we had to buy protection plans to get the trade-in credit. Verizon later confirmed it was optional. -Hidden $30 Data-Transfer Fee: She tried to charge $30 per device without warning, even though her attempts repeatedly failed. -Incorrect Trade-In Documentation: Old phones were traded in as promised, yet receipts didn't reflect the credits. Stephany claimed she would "submit corrections," triggering weeks of vague excuses. 2. Weeks of Excuses -Stephany repeatedly left voicemails claiming she needed to "re-review" our account. A month later, she said the promotion was "actually for Google phones, not iPhones"--despite the iPhone promotion being visible on our Verizon account before we ever walked in. --She took no responsibility, claiming there was nothing she could do to fix the trade-in promotion "mistake." She refused to provide supervisor contact information and promised calls from the regional director, Jonathan, that never came. TCC was a dead end. 3. Verizon Corporate -- 12+ Hours of Calls We escalated to Verizon: July 8 - Tatum: Claimed he submitted corrections. They weren't reflected on our next bill. Aug 21 - Eric: Only one line was corrected. Oct 10 - Ellen: Promised remaining lines would be fixed. They weren't. Nov 7 - Supervisor Pamela: Finally promised an overpayment credit and adjustments to honor all trade-in promotions. The credit appeared on Nov. 19; trade-in adjustments are expected to come on our next December bill. All of this was time spent fixing errors created entirely by TCC. 4. Final Thoughts TCC claims to value authenticity and customer care. Our experience was the opposite. From misinformation to hidden fees, botched trade-ins, and zero accountability, Stephany R. and the Glenview branch failed completely. If you want real Verizon service, go to a corporate store or complete transactions online. Don't waste months dealing with TCC. Save yourself the stress. Steer clear.

The young woman who apparently was there by herself was on her cell phone at the time and asked me to wait. I assume that was not with a customer. I have a Verizon cell phone and wanted wifi. Getting information from her was like pulling teeth. I asked if there was a discount if I had a Verizon cellphone. "It's $45." It took some questioning to find out that it's more if you don't have a cellphone. I asked for a demonstration. Every question seemed to frustrate her. I didn't have the phone with me so I left. A young family came in and you wouldn't believe the change in her demeanor. What was that comment from 2024 about ageism.....wow. I'm going to another store. Update: And I did. The Niles store was so much better.

    Amazing Customer Service! This was my best experience ever at a Verizon store. Well the fact is that this person was able to get through a Mother buying her daughter her first phone, then he dealt with a couple that he was trying to save money for but they said they absolutely "needed" the iPhone 16 Pro when they both had iPhone 15 pros. I love the fact that he said to them "you will be paying for your old phones while paying for your new phones" and he didn't seem at all like he was thinking what I was - which was "why? and what world are you in that you need the latest iPhone at all times"- but alas I am a curmudgeon when it comes to waste somewhat so that is my problem and the way he treated everyone was excellent! He didn't make them feel stupid for wanting the latest tech and he wasn't pushy - as a matter of fact the only thing he mentioned was that he just wanted to make sure they were aware that they would be raising their bill by X amount a month. Then it was my turn and he apologized profusely for having me wait - which I had expected - any time you go into a cell phone store I expect at least a 30 - 60 min wait time (unless it is a genius bar appointment - at which time you will wait over 11/2 hours (at least the one in old orchard)- and this is when I had an appointment lol. So yes go to this Verizon above all if you want to get a good deal and a sales associate who will get you it - you have found the right place.

The total charge included getting my battery replaced as well, which is something I've needed for the last year. Luckily for me it was a great 2 birds one stone deal. They did everything by the next business day and everything worked as expected. 50% deposit and balance upon completion. Super straightforward. The best part is that they are professional, communicative, and you can tell they aspire to high quality all around in their operations. I'll be coming to them next time I need a repair or upgrade.     I was initially very pleased with the quick turnaround and friendly service when I had my iPhone…read morescreen replaced. They were pleasant and professional and we exchanged a bit of humor over the phone and in person. Unfortunately, just two weeks later, a noticeable black blob appeared on the new screen near the Dynamic Island. This looks like OLED screen bleed or a defect. The phone has remained in a case with a screen protector the entire time and has not been dropped, bumped, or otherwise mishandled. Given the timing (only 2 weeks after installation) and the specific location of the spot, this issue is almost certainly the result of either a defective replacement screen or a problem during installation (such as trapped dust, adhesive, or pressure damage). It is not consistent with normal use or accidental damage. I offered to bring the phone in so they could inspect it in person, but they declined and immediately dismissed the warranty claim without examination. While I understand repairs aren't perfect, I'm disappointed they are unwilling to stand behind their work and honor the warranty on what is clearly a post-repair defect. I went from a satisfied customer who would have returned and recommended them to someone who can no longer do so. Potential customers should be aware that warranty support may not be reliable here. EDIT: Contrary to the response below the phone was never physically inspected. Rather, the response was based on a set of photos sent showing the issue which, alone, would be virtually impossible to come to a conclusion of physical damage versus defective product. As a customer, you are in a no win situation here as no matter what happens they are going to blame you and not the manufacturer or installation for the problem.
