Horrible customer service! I needed boots and wanted to try on a couple. I know having to run back and fourth isn't ideal but that's customer service. I told the employee to grab me a few boots in my size and he only came back with one at a time. I'm not sure if I caught the sales rep on his bad day but complaining to customers about having to walk to different stock rooms for boots just isn't right. I walked out after the fifth nasty comment and bought new boots at a different shop in Truckee. Will not be back. read more

This is the real deal snowboarding shop with a ton of top of the line inventory and knowledgable staff. It's way better than the all-purpose sports shops in the bay area. I came in here to try on snowboard boots after the new boots I bought elsewhere fit poorly and didn't perform well. I was able to try on a few different great boots in my size and get good advice from the guy working there. It's worth it to come here if you're in the Truckee area and get some good quality gear and advice rather than settle on something from a place not dedicated to snowboarding. read more

Needed heat molding for a pair of thirtytwo boots and the salesman rudely tried to charge me 20$. I know this should be a free service so I left immediately and went to Arbor Boardshop, where they were happy to do it. Highly recommend Arbor for their great service. read more

I went in looking for snowboard boots and while they didn't have the ones I wanted in stock, they were SUPER helpful. They let me try on everything, actually listened to my feedback to narrow down the type of boots I needed (I have wide feet but also need a really stiff boot) and when they found they didn't have any boots for me in stock, they were happy to recommend a bunch of other places in the area which might have them, rather than pressuring me into buying the wrong thing from them or waiting till they had it in stock. Next time I need proper advice on what to buy I'm totally coming here. read more

Large selection of snowboards. Great customer service. Very friendly and informative. Came in with my 16 year old to buy a new board and bindings. Talked us through the different boards and bindings. Very knowledgeable and patiently explained parts of the bindings to us. Walked out 30 minutes later with the snowboard ready to hit the slopes. Great experience! read more

totally board? these guys are the true pros. no corporate bs here, the staff is always most helpful. they have great deals on all the latest gear and they usually have 30, 40 or even 50% off last years gear too! i have bought a couple of boards here and have brought several of my bros in to get fitted out as well. bonus, when you buy a board here they will wax it for life, and i am not talking the cheapo hot wax but a proper job. i give them the highest rating because their gear, prices and service are the best. Their pioneer era shop rocks too! but just don't eat at the mexican place across the street, because it sucks. read more
