This salon is top notch!! They are so professional and do great work! I have been going to Totally Polished for a few months now. I heard they had a new owner and after hearing good things about it, I gave it a try. I've had my hair colored/highlighted/cut three times by Sondra and each time it came out beautifully! My hair looks natural and healthy when I leave. She is also a pleasure to spend two hours with! Marcel did a fabulous job on my micro dermabrasion treatment. I have sensitive skin and she made sure I didn't have any redness but the treatment was very effective. I'm going to try a peel next time. I understand she offers many facial and body sculpt services. Nicole is really sweet and gives a great pedicure. Each time before my appointment(s) I get a professional and courteous reminder from Christine! I also like that they take walk-ins in case I decide at the last minute to get a pedicure after work (or after shopping LOL!) I hate to have to give this salon three stars because they are clearly a 5 star place. I have never ever had an issue with my nails they always turn out wonderful and perfect and I get great service when I am here. Although the reason for my three stars is because twice now I have shown up within posted business's hours and no one is their to do my nails so I have had to go elsewhere. The first time this happened I totally understood it was a Sunday and it's nice to have that day off but the second time this happened it was a Saturday an hour before closing and I was told that I could come in on Sunday and I said oh that's odd I was told that you don't do nails on sunday and then I was told that they go back and forth on that a lot. So because of this I will go to a salon that has reasonable hours where I know someone can actually do my nails. So for this reason I will go somewhere else. I can actually go right down the plaza to another nail salon with no wait 3 people on staff to do nails they are friendly and remember my name when I come in. read more

A first class salon! They keep the place pristine. Sondra does my hair to perfection and gives great advice about products and hair care in general. She really knows her stuff and is SO nice! Tina is the nail tech that does my pedi and she is so fun to talk to and does a stellar job on my toes. She can even do French tips free-hand! Not many nail people can do that~ Overall, this is the best salon I've found in the area and I'm so glad they opened. What a breath of fresh air, to be treated like a friend and valued customer. I've been to many salons and nail places over the years and they are, BY FAR, the best! To the reviewer that was upset about not getting their nails done on a walk-in basis: Make an appointment. You will be very happy with the service, I promise! They are pretty busy, so having an appointment will guarantee that you will get in. There are many nail salons that aren't that busy, and you can walk in any time, but honestly those are the places to be avoided, in my opinion. Hair and nails in a spa like setting. We were visiting for the weekend and popped in. This was the best mani/pedi I have had in a long time! The massage chairs were heavenly. I then stayed to have my hair cut and colored by Adam. We were told that there is a new owner. They were all clean & conscientious and I may have to return every month. I highly recommend! read more

I have been to several nail places in the Stuart area, and haven't found one that impressed me. I came to Totally Polished in hopes of becoming a regular, as it is very close to my home. HUGE MISTAKE. The first red flag should have been when during my full set of pink & whites, my nail tech looked confused, as if she had no idea how to do pink and whites,and had the man (owner) next to her switched seats to finish my nails. During the process i felt uneasy about how he was applying the nails, i have had my nails done enough times to tell when something looks funny, but he assured me they will "even out" after the sanding/filing process. After well over an hour and a half, i was finally done, might i add after being cut with the drill twice. The pink and white line was uneven, the nails were different shapes and uneven, and there were bumps and bubbles in the gel. I pointed out my concerns, and he argued that "they look fine, where? nothing's wrong." And as i was running late now to pick up my son from school, i wasn't going to argue any further with him. Fast forward 4 days, 6 of my nails have completely lifted and 2 already fell completely off. I have NEVER in my 10+ years of having my nails done, had that many if ANY nails lift and literally fall off less than a week after being applied. I called the owner and told him i was just in there, i was unhappy with my nails, i told him at the time of service i was unhappy, what can be done. He was angry and demanded i come in and he see for himself. I stopped in to show him my uneven, bumpy, and lifted/missing nails, and he was SCREAMING at me. "ITS NOT MY FAULT, ONCE YOU GO HOME ITS YOUR PROBLEM, NAILS LIFT AND FALL OFF." It was extremely unpleasant and uncomfortable. I simply asked if in all fairness, he could cut my nails off, and if i could get my money back, because now 4 days after getting them done, i have to take my money to someone else to do a full set all over again. He said he does not give money back, its not his problem, and to "GO BACK TO WHATEVER SALON YOU CAME FROM, DON'T COME BACK HERE." whilst screaming in front of all the clients in his salon. If this is the way he chooses to run his business, by arguing that my uneven and lifted nails look totally wonderful and denying an issue, and humiliating and screaming at me instead of handling it like a professional and simply telling me NO, i will never be back, and i feel i should warn others. First and last time coming here!!!! read more

First went for a pedicure on Sunday and went back today for a fill. Very clean and nicely decorated, spa like feeling. Staff is fantastic. Left there both times feeling relaxed and like a millions dollars. read more

My daughters went for manicures and the gentleman who did my youngest was super nice and did a great job. The lady in the front who did the other was super rude, never smiled, acted like she was totally miserable and didn't even do that great of a job. Guess it's hit or miss. Nice salon just avoid the women technician. read more

This place gets only 1 star for the horrible service I had. I decided to go here because they had a good review but that was a lie. I only got a pedicure and I think the lady that did it was named Nicole but I'm not so sure (she had black hair.) She was extremely rude. She was basically asking fun of me while doing my pedicure. I have a mole on one of my toes and she told me that I should go see a dr about it and laughed. I told her that I had it my whole life and then she stopped laughing. Then she made fun of my legs by saying that they were the same color as her gloves and kept laughing. I don't know how any of that was funny, but why should I be made fun of while I'm the one paying for their services. I didn't ask for any of her opinions on my body. Plus they are overpriced. I recommend going across the street to B-nails for better services at the right price. You won't get made fun of there either. read more
