    Taro Milk Tea

Taro smoothy lacks flavor and has a almost porridge consistency. The melon milk tea smoothy came out hulk green and tasted like a powder mix and too much sugar. There is a wild funky smell as soon as you walk in the door and it was hotter in there than outside. The server was not nice but not blatantly rude. Not worth the money, just go to sharetea if you can

Small bubble tea establishment located in the Las Colinas part of Irving. They serve fruit tea, milk tea, and slushies. They have over 15 flavors including Thai Milk Tea, Honeydew, Strawberry, Horchata, etc. The large is $1 more and appears to be 16oz, while the regular appears to be 12 oz. **Average Food Cost(s): $ **Food: Honeydew Fruit Tea ($5.50)-- This is one of the best honeydew bubble teas that I've ever had! It wasn't too sweet or lacking in flavor. The boba itself was perfect in texture and also had a little sweetness. **Seating: It's a very small establishment, so there is only one barstool in the waiting area. **Location: Very nice part of Irving in a shopping center. Plenty of free parking. **Service: Excellent! The cashier was very friendly and patient while I mused over my order.

Very odd experience. I asked if they had any jasmine or green milk tea- a staple in most boba stores, he said no. Then I asked what is their classic milk tea flavor and he told me it was a blend of CHOCOLATE and COFFEE... how is that a milk tea?? (typically classic is made from black tea). Then he tries to recommend to me the cookies and cream milk tea. (When i was asking for green tea). Then I order mango boba(+$0.75), to which he asks 1 or 2 scoops. I say 1. He says "we normally do 2". I say okay but is that an additional charge, and he says yes. I decline. The total comes out to $7.30 for a regular size. I get my drink and its completely filled with ice as shown. Definitely feel like he was trying to upcharge me and ended up getting ripped off with the amount of milk tea I was given. Also 1 scoop seems like the regular amount I would get anywhere else like in the photo)

After discovering there was a new boba place near my house I was pretty excited to try it out but was left a little disappointed. I ordered 2 drinks this afternoon and let me start with what was good before I get into the bad. The tapioca was solid and they had a pretty wide variety of flavors. However, the taste of the drink was pretty bad. I ordered the mango milk tea and a horchata. The horchata was okay - it was sweet and had the right flavors but the mango was undrinkable. It had a very off taste and tasted like powder/fake mango. I really hope this place improves in quality since it's pretty much the only boba place in the area.

I wanted to take a quick boba trip in the Irving area and this did just the trick. The tapioca pearls are honestly just the right amount of sweetness and softness, no complaints there. The milk tea had a great flavor as well! There are not many boba tea places in this area. The nearest amazing boba is in Carrollton so this place provides a nice local Irving stop for boba!

Don't believe the glowing 5-star reviews on Google - they're basically soliciting 5-star reviews for free boba (see pic). I was excited to finally have a boba place near me, but was quickly disappointed. Not only are the reviews pretty much fake, but the boba/tea itself is really just 2-star (if that) quality. All powder and no substance. An legit business shouldn't have to go so low as to buying 5-star reviews. Go to Carrollton instead.

Honestly, this place is just ok. Let's start with the things they do great in: the signature & holy Thai milk tea where great. The staff is nice, & the products are aesthetically pleasing. However, they don't offer customization to drinks & they offer free milk tea if you give a 5 star review...way to skew the ratings! Also, the strawberry milk tea's taste reminds me of the pink oral amoxicillin they used to give to kids back in the day. Overall, it's just ok.

I think I found my fav boba place! I have tried their mango mango tea which is popular one on the menu. They have tapioca as well as jelly boba. (Or can get both). Definitely worth trying you won't be disappointed I hope to find some place closer as Irving location is way far but if you're in the area check this place out.

I been going to this location for a few weeks and usually everything was fine until today. I got some drinks for my sisters and mom and inside of my moms smoothie there was a huge piece of plastic broken all through out the drink. Only one worker in the shop at all times. Definitely won't continue coming here.

I went with a Biscoff latte and asked for it less sweet, and they got it just right. You still get that Biscoff flavor, but it is not over the top, which I appreciated. It's a beautiful spot with coffee to match. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Coffee, Return) Atmosphere - Walk inside and you'll be treated to a beautiful, cozy coffee shop. The bright white walls are accented by blue comfortable chairs and gold lettering. There are locally sourced pastries behind glass, and Middle Eastern themed lighting hanging from above. 1 Star. Service - Port Coffee continues the trend of ordering through a kiosk when they are busy. On both visits, I wanted to order from a human so I could learn more about their concept, but on both visits, I was directed to a kiosk. Also, I ordered "for here" so I could get pretty latte art, but they made my cappuccino "To go" and I had no art. No Stars. Coffee - Given the lack of service, I came back two days in a row. Why? Because the coffee is pretty darn good. They serve your standard espressos and lattes, but I tried their Iced Mufuwar. This delicious drink was dark roast mixed with milk, cardamine, and some sweetness. That combination made me a believer. The cardamine added a light, fragrant flavor (hints of ginger) with just enough sweetness (you can choose your level). It was smooth, refreshing, and a perfect pit stop during my morning walk. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. The coffee was so good I came two days in a row. The (lack of) service did not prevent me from trying their delicious coffee. I'll be back to try a pastry. 1 Star.

This busy coffee show has quality coffee including super strong (grow hair on your chest) Turkish coffee. Oh, their latte's a pretty good too. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Coffee, Return) Atmosphere - Walking in, it's hard not to notice the array of golden Hershy Kiss shaped lights that highlight the area where the baristas work. The espresso machine is magnificent, and this area is stunning. But the seating isn't as inviting or comfortable, and on each visit P&B was packed with people. Like a museum, it's stunning to look at, full of people, yet can make you feel uncomfortable. 1/2 Star. Service - The staff is great. Super friendly and efficient. And by chance if you get them on a slower day, ask them about that epic espresso machine. Standard counter service here. You order, then move out of the way to the pickup area. No issues here. 1 Star. Coffee - P&B is known for their Turkish coffee. I've only ordered it once (to take photos), because honestly the coffee is super strong. It is served the traditional way, on a plate with the coffee, more coffee, and a glass of water. It's a little too strong for my tastes, but luckily P&B also can craft traditional coffee drinks iced or hot. I'm an Iced Latte guy and P&B makes an excellent one. 1 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. While a lot more crowded with less comfortable seating than your favorite Seattle based coffee chain, P&B is unique, in a beautiful area, is great for your Instagram feed, and is independent. I'll be back to support small businesses! 1 Star.

Despite the crowd, the atmosphere felt lively and welcoming. I ordered a savory pastry topped with sesame seeds. The pastry was wonderfully flaky, with a light, crisp exterior that gave way to soft layers inside. It had a nice crunch from the sesame seeds and paired really well with the warm Zahr latte I ordered. The latte, which includes orange blossom, cardamom, and honey, had a subtle floral sweetness and a comforting spice that made it especially enjoyable. They also offer a wide variety of signature drinks, which makes the menu fun to explore. I found a cozy spot to sit in the back of the café, which felt a bit more relaxed than the front area. It was a nice place to sit and enjoy my coffee for a while, and overall it ended up being a very pleasant experience.

Inside it's open with plenty of seating (some outdoors too), has Yolk's bright blue and yellow colors, but my favorite features are the big windows which let in the the sun's natural light. 1 Star. Service - Our server was great. She was very attentive and made sure we always had our mugs filled with coffee. I appreciated the friendly service that was all smiles. 1 Star. Food - Yolk's menu has classic breakfast and brunch options but be sure you check to table for coffee specials. I ordered an Iced Apple Pie Latte that was served in a glass mason jar. This small detail allowed the Apple flavor to start my breakfast on a high note. Speaking of which, my Breakfast Mac & Cheese caught my attention when it was served in a skillet. I intended to only eat half, but the smokey ham paired with the creamy mac & cheese under a light panko layer was too delicious for me to stop. The prices are a bit on the high side, but otherwise a geat meal. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. DFW is getting many great breakfast/brunch spots like Yolk.
