Super fantastic service! I got the Nacho Libre nachos with pulled pork and they are phenomenal!!

Decor was cute, service was friendly and fast but when I order an enchilada I expect some cheese!! It literally was a roll taco...3 small CORN tortillas with a small tiny amount of pre cooked unseasoned chicken in them and that's it!!! Roll tacos with NO CHEESE, and sauce poured over it. Not one sprig of cilantro, no salsa inside, nothing. Just a teeny bit of plain chicken. Yuck! read more

We were visiting the area from NC and we tried Totonacos on a whim. The building is a little run down but, WOW! The food was absolutely incredible. I got the Enchiladas Supremas and my husband ordered chicken tacos. The presentation of the food made it feel like a high-end restaurant and the taste definitely did not disappoint. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. It's one of those places that doesn't look like much from the outside but has some of the best food you'll ever eat. When you first go there it can be hard to figure out what to focus on. The food is good though, fresh. It feels like an upper casual buffet.

We came for the fajitas in the pineapple and it did not disappoint! Meat was very well flavored. Fun presentation! We also tried the chorizo queso and while we ate it right up I don't think I would order it again, but would rather try something else. The chips and salsa were yummy, and the salsa was the perfect consistency. Our server was awesome! Took care of us and even ran after us when we accidentally left our card at the table. Great guacamole and fajitas, but orders may get messed up. Our family of 4 visited Totonacos Mexican Grill for dinner in August 2024. Reviews were good and we stopped by. Chips with salsa came right away and were really good. We ordered guacamole and fish ceviche for appetizers and fajitas for entrees. Guacamole - was indeed freshly made upon our order, as advertised by our water, and we could feel it. It was perfect how guacamole should be! Ceviche - unfortunately this was one of the worst ceviches I ever tried. It was made of cheap tilapia with its fishy smell had very little to do with proper ceviche. Fajita with steak and chicken - excellent! Pineapple Fajita - very tasty and nicely presented in an actual pineapple! Fajita Caribena - this one was unfortunately badly messed up. I asked not add shrimps as I don't eat shellfish. Fine, it came with no shrimp. When I started eating it though I found pieces of chorizo sausage along with other meats! I don't eat pork, the sausage was on the dish description in the menu, and our waiter confirmed there weren't supposed be any sausage in that fajita. This was completely unacceptable and disappointing! The dish was ruined for me. And the fish on top was also cheap tilapia. Unfortunately, we can hardly recommend this restaurant though it had some good dishes. read more

Ordered their on door dash. Worst I ever had. Barely any sauce and beef was tough. I was told it was good by a friend. No longer my friend.

Totonacos is in a rather industrial part of town and is not attractive externally. We went in at 11:30am Saturday and it was empty. We had 17 in our party and it took them a while to set up tables. Taking our drink order was also a little slow, and the same for the food order. They seemed a little disorganized - they didn't know who had ordered what, and they brought an extra order of mac & cheese by mistake. They are also not cheap, with three tacos costing $15 and a kid's meal costing $7.75. HOWEVER, it gets a 4 star rating from me because the food is amazing. The chips were hot and crispy. The salsa very tasty. They have a lot of different fajita dishes - caribbean, texan, vegetarian, etc. My daughter had the hawaiian fajitas and it was colossal, though she had a half-order. My daughter's partner had fish tacos and they might have been the best-looking fish tacos I've seen. Plus they came with three lime wedges - enough for all three tacos. Two of my granddaughters shared a pineapple fajitas which came IN a pineapple and was perfect for two teen girls. I shares the molcajete with my wife & granddaughter and it was plenty of food. We even had a small bowl of leftovers. The marinated chicken & beef was very tasty, and there was a mix of meats down in the bottom of the bowl that looked unbeautiful, but tasted perfect. My grandson had a burrito, which was gigantic & covered with melted cheese. He said it was great. We loved the food. Probably could've used a few more tortillas. The food is a rip off Salsas are nasty! I ordered the fajitas and shrimp tacos and all the shrimp was over cooked and nasty the fajitas chicken wasn't dry but it didn't taste like anything except the half onion and 3 bell peppers they gave me It came with 4 overcooked shrimp ,little bits of chicken here and there and 3 strips of steak. maybe it's because we ordered to go with 30 minutes until Closing that they felt like they could just give us a closed and tied plastic bag urging us to pay first, I believe they did it on purpose they seemed friendly but I will not be coming back .honestly I'm better off going to culichis or even just cooking at home or getting Taco Bell beans . what a shame the place looked promising first and last time going there beware the food and value in my opinion do not match!!! My husband and I tried this place for the first time. We loved the atmosphere. They have really good chips and salsa. We ordered fajitas to share. We got steak fajitas and the steak was flavorful and tender. It came with tons of beans, rice and toppings. It was a very filling meal and we had leftovers for another day. read more

Still have to find "That Great Mexican Restaurant" we had in the last state we lived in, but Totonacos will do for now. A nice contrast to the others: they don't smother everything in layers of cheese and the food is fresh. We had a nice meal, the service was good, and the place is clean and pleasant-- checks all the important boxes. A plus is that it's got good seating and tables for groups, so a good place to bring friends and family in the future. We'll be back read more

It's nice over the years if a place stays good, clean, and the service is still great. I have come here off and on, and slowly stopped going to other Mexican food establishments. I don't know why other places can't seem to get the idea that a clean place is better. I have gotten sick enough at cheap dives that I do not stop anymore if it is that bad. However, this place is still as good as when I first came. I have learned what is the best items. And slowly stick to those. I like the Shrek burrito, or the fajita nachos the best. enjoy read more

We just recently went here as a friend had been here and he really liked it. We ordered the chicken enchiladas and the california burrito. I had the California burrito and it was really good! It completely fell apart so It didn't end up being like a burrito, more a salad but was still great. It came with melted cheese on top that made it good and helped to have some sauce but I think I would prefer another type of sauce so it wasn't as dry. This is one of favorite places to go with our friends. Their Chicken Cancun is delicious. We also love the queso with chips & salsa.

We finally had a chance to try this place out on Saturday. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Delightful, clean dining area. We shared an order of nachos and were wowed by how flavorful they were and the size made a perfect meal for my husband and I to share! Our server was wonderful as well! I think his name was Jaime. My new favorite Mexican restaurant in Utah! Stumbled across this place in Spanish fork as we were driving there to pick something up and I am SO GLAD I DID! The service was outstanding and the food was AMAZING--- So fresh and delicious! The chicken tortilla soup is made to order fresh for every order! My chicken Chimi was the best I've ever had. If you want dinner and a show, order the pineapple fajitas! The fajitas are served inside of a pineapple and lit on fire when it comes out. Not only is it cool and fun to see coming to your table, but they are also delicious. They were loaded with steak, chicken, bacon and shrimp. The pineapple added a sweetness to the meat that was super good. It was definitely a unique and delicious dish that I will order again. Everything here is fresh and made when you order. I could tell that everything was homemade. The chips and salsa to start were super good. We ordered the house guacamole, which was a great starter. I also ordered the Horchata, which was perfectly sweet. It was the perfect pairing with my fajitas. As of this review, the tables available are every other table so customers are socially distant from each other. This could add to your wait time if you come at a busy hour. Maybe the reviews are high (4.5 stars when we checked) because they're better than the other Spanish Fork Mexican restaurants, but we're from out of town and thought it was okay, nothing special. The staff is very nice, the place is clean, easy parking, and the bathrooms well-kept. Plating is done well. For $12 Nachos Libre, I expect more queso, at least be able to see it. Theirs is thin and barely drizzled on the chips, difficult to even notice. The picture looks better than it tastes; notice the lack of queso. I'd request more jalapeños (they're pickled, not spicy, and only 5 chunks of them) and chopped, spread all over to add flavor to the bland Nachos Libre. The beef seemed boiled, was soft and light colored with little seasoning or flavor (had a chicken stock taste). I rely on the meats and sauce to command the attention of the dish, but both in this one lacked for me. It's not that it tasted bad, just not enough for me to want to come back. In comparison, the dishes that wow me at other places in Utah Valley are the Molcajete at Maria Bonita, Cheesy Chimichanga at Cocolito's (jalapeño sour cream cheese sauce), and Halibut Veracruz at Los Hermanos. Even fast food queso at Costa Vida/Cafe Rio or beef at Taco Amigo is more impressive. The menu is hard to read with the swirly font names. read more

Overall kind of average meal experience. There are a lot of Mexican places in Spanish Fork and Totonacos is just not doing enough to set itself apart. A great mole is one of my favorite dishes at any Mexican place but I wouldn't even put this in the top 10 moles I've ever had. The mole flavor was rich but the chicken, instead of using shredded chicken, they use little bits of pan fried chicken so every bite has this weird rubbery taste to it. Also they didn't serve the mole with any tortillas. It's just there on the plate to awkwardly scoop with your fork. The chips and salsa were unmemorable and the decried beans pretty bland. The Mexican rice was very tasty though. Server was friendly although a bit aloof. read more

Yeah... where has this place been all my life? It is amazing! I mean... FLAVOR-FULL. I don't think you can go wrong on ordering here, unless... you don't get the FLAN at the end of your meal. I've never tasted better flan in my life and I LOVE flan. It was light and creamy and MELTED IN MY MOUTH! I really can't say enough about this place. Tried this restaurant for the first time after BYU graduation because everywhere else was packed. We did have to wait for a while to be seated but once we were seated, we had a very attentive server.
