When I went to pick up my car early in the morning, Marques was outside with it in sub-40 degree weather, doing some final touch-ups, just to make sure it looked perfect before handing it over. So far, the ceramic coating is amazing and my first test was when some sticky, gooey berries landed/stuck to my car and they came off with just a wet cloth; no scrubbing. However - my car, a Corolla driven infrequently and garage kept was not a difficult job. I just wanted a good exterior cleaning and wax and a thorough interior cleaning and with special attention to the upholstery shampoo - which I mentioned on the phone. The job I got was one rung up from the local carwash. No attempt was made to buff out any surface imperfections and the interior is such a disappointment to see every time I get in the car. I could have done a better job with warm water and a shop-vac. The car just wasn't that dirty, so they could have spent a little effort on the few spots on the very durable fabric seats. I think they just didn't bother because it's a little economy car and they had already been paid months ago, so it wasn't important to them. The evening I picked it up, the staff were oohing over an expensive sports car in the lot - I just think they have more interest in flashy cars than in customer service for the average Jane. It's been several weeks since the service, but it still bothers me every time I see the spots on the upholstery.

I did a little bit of research on Google and the business seemed legit. Kevin, the owner, responded to my request and I was able to get my car in for a right front panel repair and also a bumper repair. Unfortunately, I was rear ended a month prior to this accident so my repairs were similar other than the front drivers side panel. That repair took 4 days. Anyway, I dropped my car off here on a Monday and was told it would most likely be repaired on Friday unless other issues were found. Of course, I was told they had to replace the entire rear bumper. Rather than bore you with all the details, I'll just make it brief. My car was in the shop for 18 days for this repair. Communication while it was in the shop was non-existent for the most part. Tons of excuses! When I picked it up the car was overheating and pouring out coolant like crazy. I had to have it towed back to the shop as its apparent something happened here. They paid for the cost to have it repaired which was an air bubble in the coolant system supposedly. After I picked it up again it still needed a cohesive put on the front drivers panel and an alignment, which was covered by insurance. It took 3 weeks for them to get back to me to bring it back in yet again. Typically, this would be a same day job. With Frederick, I knew I wouldn't be getting my car back the same day. Needless to say, this is the worst experience I've ever had with an automotive business in my entire life. I had to constantly stop by the shop to check on the status of my car, communication was absolute shit, and the turnaround time was an absolute joke. On top of that, now I'm having issues with my spoiler. I can't prove this is because of Frederick Auto Body, but the timing seems odd. Anyway, I'll get that looked at by a mechanic when I return to MA. I've seen some 1 star Google reviews where Kevin denies working on these cars. I had a similar issue with a used car salesman back in the day where I bought a Maserati and it was basically a lemon. Like consumers are confused where they made a major purchase? Really?! Owners will lie to save face. I very much came here for services, and the experience was very much absolute shit.

My passenger side window is streaked, water still remained on my car, tires were not cleaned and dried properly, air fresher was not placed in car, and some debris still remained on my car. Not a happy customer. The quality was below standards and the attendants were not very attentive to the details. I did not leave a tip. I will be returning to the car wash on 40 (West Patrick).
