I have had 4 MRIs at Touchstone. They have a large tunnel which feels very open and not claustrophobic. I love the detailed and interpreted report they send you via text after. You can't get that at a hospital. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My only complaint this time was with the technician who seemed put out that I asked for a disk of my MRIs for a new doctor[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] AND then the dude grabbed the trash cans from the rooms around me and placed them in the hallway and then DID NOT wash his hands and proceeded to show me to the table, touch the controls in the room and the headset that went on my head. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't change the sheet. Someone get that man some hygiene training! GROSS!!! read more

The staff is very nice. I would suggest that you have a sign in clip board for convenience of patients. The receptionists are on the phone for extended periods of time while the patients stand there and wonder what they should do to get noticed. The receptionist should at least motion to the patient standing there that they are acknowledging them. A sign in board would take the stress off of the receptionist and the patients don't have to stand there in groups while watching them on the phone. I also feel like the person who I spoke with on the phone could have reassured me that the mri is OK to put my mind at ease since they do not have an open mri. Or just showed more compassion about my reluctance/fear of level of enclosure of their machine. Staff in the back very nice. I still wouldn't hesitate to recommend this office. Very nice. This facility was easy to find, get in and out, and had ample parking. Minimal wait from arrival to mri. Everything was neat and orderly, quality of care from check in to exit was excellent. The attendant's thorough review of any metal in or on was helpful and reassuring. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their staggered start of patients gave you a sense of being the only one they were focused on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I saw no other patient once being called back. The coded lockers were a plus, no key to remember. I have long hair so a scrub hat or something would have been helpful as the pulley did grab some, the attendant immediately stop me from entering in order to give me time to adjust it before the point of no return. once entering the cave the bed doesn't stop to make adjustments for this, and they don't want you moving. I highly recommend long haired people be told to put it up or in a braid before mri procedures. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Instructions were clear, and precise, knowing about how long the procedure was, very helpful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Half way home my doctor called to have me come in the next day to discuss the findings, provide his recommendations and give me time to think. He covered the mri with me and showed me the procedure recommended using my mri instead of a plastic model, although he had one of those too. He was able to give me important points to consider and ample time to review the information. All this was fast and efficient because you provided his interface to the mri. The addition of the patient friendly report with explanations was the first I have ever seen and very easy to read and use, the whole experience was top drawer. read more

I have always been very pleased with the professionalism, level of comfort and not ever having to wait to be seen. My orthopedic doctor sent a referral and I received a prompt text message to call to schedule. I had the pleasure of speaking with Latoya who politely and efficiently scheduled my appointment within 2 days. I do not have insurance and informed her I would be cash pay and she did not make me feel like that was an issue like prior places I have called before have. When I arrived for my appointment the facility was clean and check in process was a breeze. I arrived 30 minutes prior to my appointment, was unsure how traffic was going to be, but I was quickly taken back and prepared for my MRI. The technician was extremely polite and explained everything that was taking place. Once the MRI was completed I was informed of the next steps. I was told I would receive a text with my report and when that didn't happen I called and informed the office and they quickly resolved the issue. I was referred over for X-rays per Chiropractor. Waited in line for about 10 minutes to just be told I could not be seen due to not having child care for my sleeping son that was passed out in his car seat. AND I realize it's not the offices problem that I'm a single mother, however, the way I was treated and how they spoke to me was just rude and disrespectful to the fullest extent. I wouldn't ever want anyone to be treated like I was treated. AND it's 2023, 80% of us parents do it alone! Don't be a rude jerk, and accommodate the ones of us that do it alone with no help or time for our own healthcare! read more

Pro: radiology staff is friendly and professional Cons: first off, the radiologist who read my CT scan did such a poor job! Now i'm not a Dr but when my Dr/specialist read the results, he could not make heads or tails. What the Touchstone radiologist said basically is that I had cancer. I do NOT have cancer. The radiologist clearly doesn't know the difference between a solid mass and one filled with fluid (cyst). I've gone through hell the past 3 weeks thinking I had cancer. Plus, my Dr. said their image was also not done well. I went and had another CT scan, paying yet another $100 deductible, which was done well and very clear and OMG, the radiologist had thoroughly described every aspect of the image. Even I could understand it! Bottom line, don't waste your money here because if you're going to a good Dr., they're going to ask that your imaging be done at a different place! read more

I had two scans done this week and felt compelled to write a review. Now, I'm and old guy, 86, with 30 years military service, so am not easily impressed, but I want to pass on my experience. From the moment I entered the building I was impressed by the competency and professionalism of the people I encountered. Check in was prompt and procedure started on time. The technician explained the process and conducted the scans in such a way that eliminated the stress that might be associated with the procedure. I can highly recommend them. read more

Message stated co-pay would be $ 61.00 dollars.Arrived next day for appointment,filled out all paperwork and was informed co-pay had tripled to 180.00. I'm in Pensacola, Florida, and I just got off the phone with the rudest and least compassionate woman I've talked to in a long time (I can't say ever because I've talked to some mean people at Andrew's Institute.). I've been injured and, therefore, unemployed for months, and after terrible medical advice from Andrews Institude that has made the injury worse, I am confused and unsure of my next steps. She was extremely unhelpful, a complete smart alec, and focused only on getting off the phone as quickly as possible, even cutting me off in the middle of a sentence! After hearing great reviews from friends and family on price and quality of MRI imaging from Touchstone, it is a major bummer that I was harassed off the phone before I could even ask the questions necessary to make an appointment. I've been several times. Last time a couple of months ago. Check in staff up front was excellent. Once in the back, not so much. But usually they are very nice, easy to ask questions, very personable and prompt. They have coffee, water and snacks waiting for you out front which is a nice welcoming feature, similar to how a hostess has to her home.
