The Social Security Disability doctor at Marvell Medical Services referred me to Touchstone for six x-rays of both knees and my left shoulder. Once inside with the one-page intake paperwork filled out, I didn't have long to wait. There were only a few of us waiting anyway. After getting called to the x-ray room, I was finished in a matter of minutes. Guess the staff do this often enough they don't need that much time. I felt very cared for throughout the whole process. I even ran into a former co-worker from Ole Grapevine Cigars. We had a few minutes to catch up on old times. Who knew one could have a great day seeing doctors?! I did! They contacted me immediately via text, and followed up with text and phone call to see if I had any questions and to try and make the scheduling process easier. Scheduling was quick and easy, including me needing to reschedule one day and push my time back another. They were extremely pleasant and accommodating. Check-in was quick and easy, they verified benefits and copay, and then escorted me back. I had an MRI scheduled for this location. After reading some of the reviews, I was reluctant at first and almost decided to change locations. I'm glad I didn't. The staff at the Arlington location were super friendly and super efficient in getting my MRI taken care of in the fastest time. I've ever had an imaging procedure done. My wife and I were both extremely impressed. If I ever have to have another imaging procedure performed, I'll happily return to the Arbrook location. I walked in and I see 6 people behind the counter. 1 person in the lobby. I was told they don't take walk ins and the next appointment time for me to come in will be 3-4 from then. Friendly customer service, super quick process, clean, nice place with plenty of parking. Having to come here twice in one week to accompany my parents, I was a little dreaded reading the reviews from their other location (pretty much just around the corner), and noticed people complain about slow service. To my surprise, both time we came here, from the moment we checked in, to when we left, even once with 2 services back to back, it never took longer than 30mins. Maybe we got lucky, but I wouldn't mind coming back here again. Just hope I won't have to since it never really a good thing if you do have to get any test/scan done. They do provide pretty much any imaging services you can think of: ultrasound, Xray, mammogram, etc... All the technicians we have encountered are very nice and friendly. However, having been to another location (not Touchstone), I can't help but comparing the 2, and just wish they put in a little more thoughts on decorations, making the place more of a warming atmosphere rather than just a center providing services, in and out. Sometimes people come here already worried and scared, regardless of whether or not they'd find out the result the same day. Some thoughtful wall decorations, privacy lockers to lock your stuff away would make the clients feel a little better. read more

This is the first time I called in and talked to a customer service staff named Terri who has a poor customer service attitude and is rude on 11/06/2023 around 4:40pm. I wish this facility should record every conversation for training purpose because this is the last time I visited this facility, on top of the time for a CT scan took more than one week for a result. They also confirmed it might take longer than that if your doctor did put STAT on it! In general, I won't visit and let my circles know not to use this facility. read more

I have crippling claustrophobia. I had to stop a previous MRI mid way at a different facility. I found Touchstone when I was looking for an open MRI. They couldn't have been nicer, more compassionate or understanding. They explained the procedure and answered my questions. It usually gets hot in a traditional MRI. I am being billed for my visit that should be billed under Department of Labor. I have provided my identification information as well as DOL billing number and address. I asked that a supervisor call me and it's been over a week and no call. It appears there billing department does not know how to handle DOL /workers compensation claims. My doctor ordered a breast ultrasound for me because I did not want a mammogram (didn't want radiation exposure, small as it is). I have no family history of breast cancer. This facility told me that it was their policy to also do a mammogram. Since when does a facility get to ignore my doctor's orders & tell me that I have to do the mammogram in order to get an ultrasound done? Further more, the supervisor told me that I could make an appt, come in & talk to the radiologist & they will determine if I can skip the mammogram. First of all radiologists, who are doctors, never see patients; all they do all day is view scans, often from their home. I have a good friend who is a radiologist. He says the breast ultrasound is safer than a mammogram, the images are better & since I have no history of cancer, this is sufficient. I told the supervisor, who I understand does not make the policy, I would NOT be doing the test because the facility should honor the doctor's orders of the patient (I did have an in depth discussion with my doctor) AND the facility should NOT be doing TWO tests (they make more money) when my doctor ONLY ordered one!! I can NO longer support this facility if this is their so called policy!! Additionally, I am a business owner in the DFW area and I will be telling all my clients and contacts NOT to do business here!! I do not think they do the actual breast tests at this location. I think you have to go up the street to Matlock, however, they are both under the Touchstone Imaging umbrella. read more

I had an MRI here back in 2021, I have insurance but still paid $1,100 out of pockets. I have spent the past two years trying to get them to file the claim correctly. They have since written the debt off to a collections agency which went against my credit score and made it drop by 100 points. I have called them four times this year to speak to their billing department, three way with my insurance company and they still can't get it right. The last time I called I was told it needed manager approval and they would call me back, this was two weeks ago. I am at the point of reaching out to attorneys because their structural incompetence has caused me so much time, money and misery. Don't go here. read more

I have been here many times. It took almost a week to get my appointment. I showed up on time. I have stents, they wanted to make sure it was safe - I appreciate that. They wanted the card, I don't have the card. They asked if I had MRI before with them - I said I had . I went home to look fir the card without success, but I did find a MRA report done at the same Touchstone, clearly referring to the stents. That isn't good enough for them now, although it was before I think it is the lady at the front desk being... less than professional. read more

If avoidable, don't get your scans here. Even when we had an appointment, other people who had a later appointment and came in later were seen before us. When I asked when we would be seen, the lady at the counter was giving me attitude. Similar with a lady who came in around the same time as us. The scheduling process here is a mess. I requested an appointment in Grand Prairie and kept getting scheduled in Arlington. Clarification is definitely needed. I also requested a copy of my ultrasound. When I called and informed the employee I would pick it up she did not inform me that the office would be closed from 7am-8am due to a team meeting. I normally never write reviews however after reaching out to the manager for problem resolution I felt there was a need. Customer service was poor, I called three times trying to get information on my out of pocket expense, was told I would received a call back the first time then told to call back at the end of the day. Third attempt (on the day of my appointment my) I was told their verification system was down and there was no way to pull the benefits, however I was more then welcomed to call my insurance myself. Otherwise I would be given an estimate and once the claim was filed I would either possibly owe or have a credit on my account (payment was still due at the time of service). Working in the medical field I absolutely know that's an option. However me scheduling this appointment a month in advance and trying to get those details since then is poor service, I wanted to know in advance what my cost was so I was prepared to pay. Now knowing this is the type of customer service provided I will be less inclined to have patients referred here and utilize other free standing facilities. read more
