    nice greens

We were very disappointed to see the condition of Tour 18. Terrible fairways, broken cart paths, flooded sand traps, broken carts, overall looks like a course with little or no maintenance. Tour 18 was a great public course 10 years ago, Club staff and gated community property owners deserve better. We wanted to ask for $240 refund but feel sorry for the staff. Only hope is to take Club private and start over....

    Island green fun

We had a super fun round today. The course was in great shape, even though it's the middle of August. We enjoyed the concept - each hole was challenging and fun to play after seeing the pros play them on tv. Staff were really attentive and friendly.

YUM! Passenger princess golf caddy who loves breakfast at golf courses and the sausage breakfast burrito was super good. I got sides of sour cream and salsa, which was so good. Really good size burrito and really fairly priced at $7.75.

Tour 18 was an excellent course extremely long and difficult but well worth the money. The greens are true and the fairways are lush.

It's a great course! Some of the greens were a little tough still from the freeze over the winter, but other than that the course was in great shape! It is really fun to play on dune if the most famous holes in golf and I would highly recommend playing here at least once!

This sounded like a dream come true. Play 18 of the most exciting PGA tour holes in golf, all on one course/ track. Great idea, right. Well, this is close. A great idea with the wrong maintenance group taking care of the grounds. For the price, I was expecting a bit more beauty. Don't get me wrong, the course was nice and tough but the greens were not in the best shape. Some greens were, what you would expect on a cheap public course., patchy and not taken care of. The bunkers, well, let's just say terrible. Very little sand in most of them. Soft Pan in some. Hard pan in others. Church pews all had ok sand in them. I know. I ended up in some. Fairways and tee boxes were great. So there is hope. The staff, well, they were ok. I guess getting up at 6am on Sunday isn't fun. I get it. Anyway, the track was nice and challenging. I'm glad we went and played. I had a good time. I hope they take a little better care of this place before they lose the greens. I would play again and I can recommend you play, especially if you only have one day you can play while in this area. If you want pristine, this is not it but close.

It's replica holes of famous courses such as Augusta National, Oakmont, and Oakland Hills are right on the money.

Either way, I always enjoyed this course. Not the most lush, but greens and fairways were always well kept. Can get windy being Texas, has a very scary water hole (either 1 or 10, I think they have switched it) and lots of terantula looking spiders in the rough so be careful! Still I always enjoyed this course.

I worked at The Lakes at Castle Hills in The Colony/Lewisville, TX. During my time there, I experienced verbal abuse from a leadership figure.... something I reported multiple times to management with no meaningful resolution. I have this behavior documented and on video. I was also subjected to sexual harassment from a club member, including inappropriate comments like: "Would you like to see the tattoo on my d**k?"and unwanted physical contact. When I told management I was uncomfortable and requested not to serve this member, I was told: "They're paying members, there's nothing we can do." Another manager later suggested I confront the harasser myself. I also have a diagnosed learning disability and was frequently mocked for things like misspellings, despite leadership being aware of my condition. Instead of support, I was met with humiliation. I filed a formal complaint with the EEOC. They acknowledged what I shared but ultimately dismissed the case due to the company's classification as a private, tax-exempt membership club, which is not subject to certain federal protections. This experience left me deeply shaken. I'm still growing from it. It shattered my confidence and made me question my worth, but I now know the weight I carried wasn't mine. I'm sharing it because silence only protects harmful systems.
