It is the work of Victor Ving and Dave Persue as part of the Greetings Tour in 2016 and measures 15 feet high and 25 feet wide. It overloooks a parking lot, so it is easy to park and take a closer look. It is on the side of the Belching Beaver and is pretty easy to find. It is a bit outside of the city, so you will need a car to get here. It is in an artsy part of town though, which is pretty cool. Anyway, as with most murals that I have visited and reviewed, this is not a long stop. I was there less than 5 minutes. So, you may want to consider planning out additional stops at many of the other attractions in the area, or making this stop part of a larger itinerary to maximize your time and trip. Luckily for you there are a ton of murals in this area to check out.

It's an immersive walking tour highlighting local cultural, community, and food/drink landmarks. In addition to the live commentary, the team has taken time to pre-record tidbits about places you pass during the tour for you to listen to on your smartphone. It made the transitions when walking from place-to-place smooth and effortless. Words that come to mind when reflecting upon the experience: engaging, fun, educational, and memorable. Throughout the experience, I couldn't help but continuously think to myself "this is incredible - without this tour I never would've known about these things!" It's also fun walking around in a large group and connecting with others, while still feeling like a local. I won't spoil the stops on the tour, but will say there is outstanding diversity. I bet you'll stop by places you had passed by countless times but had no idea what they were (or that they even existed)! The walk isn't too strenuous and they day feels perfectly timed. Without a doubt, Culture Cocina is highly recommended and a wonderful idea for friends, couples, and when you have out of town visitors. Thanks so much to Wilda, Taryell, and Cynthia for crafting such an incredible experience. You are all such warm, knowledgable, and charismatic leaders! Will be rooting for your continued success and the expansion of Culture Cocina into more neighborhood tours! Tips: -wear comfortable walking shoes -bring sunglasses and wear a hat

I would say parking is a hassle, which it is, but I've been through much worse. I never get lucky enough to find street parking although most of it is metered and that's always annoying, but they have plenty of affordable parking lots so definitely just pay up. We didn't spend more than $5 for parking so for a beach day that is totally worth it. There are lots of shops and restaurants to visit while you are in the area. I definitely recommend walking along the beach cliffside. There is a paved trailed and the view is gorgeous. To me, it's just as pretty as Hawaii! We chose to eat at Urth Cafe during our most recent visit but the other restaurants I have visited have also been very pleasent. They have good quality food and the prices are expensive but definitely affordable for an ocean view. I would recommend to arrive early. Maybe the crowds wont be as bad plus you need to plan for traffic when you leave Laguna Beach. We were caught in a traffic jam when we left in the afternoon and it seemed like it was backed up the entire day. But like I said, I have been through much worse and Laguna Beach is still always worth the visit. Will be back soon!

I mentioned that the weather will be very warm not quite as hot as it can be during the summer. It was a steady at 94° and reached up to 97°. We went during the month of May. So if you don't do well in the heat I suggest visiting in early spring or during the fall. This would be a great place to take someone who is visiting from out of town or from another country. The sculptures are pretty spectacular. We didn't get to visit all of the sculptures, but enjoy taking photos of the ones we were able to get to. With the sculptures being far apart from each other it's great for photos because you won't see the other ones in the background. I think it's a great place to visit and to get some fun pictures afterwards you can visit the town which has a few restaurants in shopping stops. There's also a museum in town that would be cool to check out. I will be out here in November camping. I went camping here last November and the weather was very windy and we had a beautiful storm for one day with rainbows shining everywhere last year. It was beautiful. I look forward to coming back to this area.
