The old old old clubs may have been, not up to par, pun intended. I picked up a used driver about four years ago, it was two years old then. I paid $100 and was able to drive just as far and straight as the other players. So, I bought an E722 two years ago, and it was better than the older driver. Two weeks ago I broke the shaft right at the hosel. I called TourEdge , they said that someone would call me with a RA number to send the the club to factory for refiting of a new shaft, because it had a lift time warranty. Two days later they called and said a new shaft was on the way. I received it, installed it, now all is good. By the way, Veterans get 15% off. Bought a Tour Edge Exotics EXS driver several years ago. What a piece of junk. The crown around the hosel started chipping real bad. Doesn't change how the club plays, but makes it look like a cheap driver with subpar materials. No worries, they have a Lifetime warranty! Wait, they don't cover chipping. Even if it is nowhere close to where the ball strikes the club head. Don't waste your money and try to save a few bucks buying their products. I bought a Tour Edge putter for my four year old daughter for Christmas. Unfortunately, the club delivered had a twisted neck which placed the shaft at 130 degree angle to the face. After emailing Tour Edge (no customer service phone number listed) to correct the situation, I received no response for months. Finally, Doug at the company called me to apologize and stated their email service is down for a long period of time. Doug offered at repair the putter if I would ship it back to them AT MY EXPENSE. The return shipping cost is half the price I paid for the club! I understand mistakes can happen in manufacturing. However, to make the customer pay an additional cost to repair is unacceptable. Tour Edge customer service is absolutely atrocious. My driver broke after 2 weeks of using it and Tour Edge told me to ship it back to them at my own cost ($55). They refused to reimburse me for the shipping and I bit the bullet since I needed the club. Supervisor told me to mark it ATTN: Supervisor so the process could be expedited. It took 3 weeks for Tour Edge to ship me a new club!!! How long could it take to open the box I PAID FOR and say "yeah this club is clearly broken, let's get a new one and box it up". My kids gave me a Tour Edge Golf bag for Father's Day. The bad news is one of the seams split after a couple of months. As it had a life time warranty I contacted Tour Edge and spoke with Guy. He asked that I send him some pictures which I did. The following day I received an email saying a replacement bag was being shipped.
