The men's section is much larger--or at least appears larger--than many other Sierra stores that I have frequented, with a bountiful clearance section, to boot! I got excited when I came upon the Men's shoes section with a sign for Size 14 alas there was not much there both in actual stock and in the prices of what was on offer. The store was clean and organized well, and while we didn't see a single staffer the entire time we browsed the wares, our cashier (who was vaguely reminiscent of a young Barack Obama) was very friendly and engaging.

It isn't trying for the DSW boutique experience, and they focus more on big sales to draw in customers. I don't think I've ever shopped at a Famous Footwear without there being some kind of sale going on. I was here during a Buy 1, Get 1 at 50% off sale. This included all of their shoes, even clearance. They have a lot of name brands (Steve Madden, Keds, Sperry, and Carlos Santana to name a few), but nothing that I'd call overpriced. The sandals were picked over, and the store overall feels a little disorganized including narrow aisles in the clearance section. If you don't mind a warehouse kind of feel, there are some great deals at Famous Footwear. In addition to my Keds, I found a darling pair of Carlos Santana flats in a platinum shade with laser cut-outs on the clearance rack. They were marked down to $20. My Keds and Carlos shoes cost a combined $43, which was still $5 less than what I paid for the single pair of Keds at DSW. Customer service is great. I noticed one girl bending over backwards for a customer who wanted to special order a pair and have them shipped to her home. The girl who rang me up was also very friendly and she walked around the store greeting customers and asking them if they needed any assistance. It's not the level of service I'm used to at discount retailers, and for my tastes it was a little bit too much, but it was still nice to see.

It's great getting items here if you're trying a new sport and need the equipment but are not sure you're going to stick with it. They have a huge inventory especially golf clubs and woods. Service is friendly and they are very helpful. They are located within the strip mall next to Jewel Grocery store. You can call and ask if they have what you need and how much inventory they have of an item.

I went there yesterday 6/20/26 to get work done on my bike. I had a horrible experience. I brought…read morein an expensive Felt bike to get it tuned up and to change the tube in my tire. The guy at service counter wanted to overcharge me $450. He also lied about what needed to be fixed and was very condescending. He told me the chain, seat, handles, ties, tube all needed to be replaced, plus all the service. So on a hunch, I asked him how much he would pay for my carbonfiber bike. (It's 10 years old, but I bought it for $2,000). Guy told me he'd pay $70. I knew this shop was suspect and then that cinced it. I told him absolutely not. That anyone who knows anything (and I'm not a bike expert) wouldn't pay $70 for a bike that was purchased for $2,000. He kept telling me "that's what my owner would pay" as other employees shook their head in agreement with me. I ended up taking it else where. When I got it fixed, I asked the guy what needed to be done, as a I suspected, I just needed grease and the tube replaced, nothing else. My tires weren't rotten. The guy put baby powder on my bike seat, everything else was fine. I also asked him how much my bike was worth. He told me $400+. This place is terrible and frankly taking advantage of people. My suggestion: Go to the guy in Naperville who is retired and genuine. I found him off other reviews in Yelp. Artisanbiccyle.com He's by appointment only. But charges $60 for what this place tried charging $450. He fixed everything in less than an hour -- which Spokes told me would take a week to fix. Not okay. She didn't say 'hello' or anything remotely friendly but asked if I'd needed help in some curt way that reminded me of the difference between "get a good night's sleep" and "rest in peace." I asked if there were more of the slippers in that size, and she said there weren't in a similar way. Overall, I got the vibe she was annoyed to have had to help me. Nice slippers though! Also, please undiscontinue that one sunscreen I could use as white face paint. I was planning to use it for a costume, and every other sunscreen I've tried irritated one of my eyes.
