One (Plantscapes) wouldn't send me photos of what I'm paying for and when I insisted, I see that the person's title ("Embassador"?) is misspelled. Second florist (Don's) cheated my best friend who had ordered using a photo offering. First, Don's didn't deliver and, when they did, a day later, the item sent was clearly a centerpiece left over from the holidays, not what my far-away friend thought she was buying. When she complained, she was told "we're too busy to correct this"!!! Next one (you know who you are) won't deliver to conservative venues!, which is an absurd business policy and just adds to the political rancor in this country, no matter what political party you belong to. I hope they get sued or "Red Henned" and I'm not even MAGA. So, having seen the great comments today on NextDoor, I thought I would pop in. Rachel was wonderful and helped me assemble two nice bouquets of fresh cut flowers and I bought chocolates as well. I will be back.

In Boston I got a call from the owner of Don's saying they were trying to deliver, they were in the building. She then said they found it, all was good. Talked to my wife that evening, she'd gotten nothing, her first birthday with me as her new husband. I'd heard nothing from anyone from Don's. I called the owner the next morning, she somehow thought they'd been delivered. "He's a pretty reliable guy", she would check and call back. I never heard a word. The next day, a day late, they delivered my new wife's flowers. How impressive that must have been to her coworkers, her husband of two months finally thought to get her flowers, who didn't understand how embarrassing that would be. They still charged my credit card. They say an issue is a chance to impress customers with how you react. I texted the owner, never a word back.

When I reminded him how beautiful the last arrangement was, he asked what I was looking for this time. I replied "BOOM!" I admire that he maintains his enthusiasm and artful approach. When this large arrangement in stunning black glass was delivered to my wife's medical office (she's an R.N.), a doctor commented: "Nobody can keep up with your husband". Randall recommended a way for her to transport it in her car to our home where it takes up most of the dining room table. We had a guest yesterday who was awestruck to see it.

When I called to check with the store about the status of the flowers not delivered as expected, the man I spoke with was dismissive and rude. He told me it wasn't "his fault the online ordering didn't go through their system." He then canceled my order when I expressed my frustration as a customer. VERY poor customer service. I will certainly not be ordering from this place again and I would recommend avoiding this business.
