Not sure where mine and my Roomate's MANY reviews went, but this place is easily the most awful and disgusting business I've ever come across. Times 10. the first interaction was back in 2023 when I went on a trip to Miami. I came back to find out my car had been towed, and it cost $2800 to bail it out after 4 days of storage. Absolutely unhinged. Then 1.5 years later, I got a ticket on the same vehicle in front of my house (which was off Babcock so high traffic and police presence). It said I had 3 days to move it. At the beginning of day 2, my friends came over to help me move it cuz I needed a jump and it was semi snowed in. This awf excuse for a company showed up day 2 and began to try to hook up. I called the cops, the cops told me the dude is just trying to do his job, nothing they can do, and they managed to tow it. IT COST ME $780 TO BAIL IT OUT 2 HOURS LATER!!!!!! I contacted the city officials about both situations and was told they have no say in the process this crooked company charges cuz they're the only ones with the space to house the vehicles. MORE THAN $3500 IN CHARGES FOR 4.1 DAYS OF STORAGE. I've never been more disgusted and irate in my entire life. I'm a Montana veteran, pay my bills and taxes, and this situation was one of the main reasons I moved. Though they'd prefer that anyways, Bozeman has become a millionaires paradise, all other peons can fall to the wayside. Bozexam has become a disgusting representation of what a city should be. Awful humans. Towed a work vehicle from in front of my house for being snowed in the day after Christmas. Called them 3 times to see if they had my vehicle. Two times the lady said she'd call back if she did, never called back. Third time she said I owed 3500 for 24 days on there lot even though I called her a week after being towed. Ended up stealing the vehicle and 2k in tools from me. Garbage humans and if they think they are real Montana's they are beyond confused. Crooked criminal business. DO NOT GO THROUGH TOW ZONE! My vehicle was towed from a ramp, which I was allowed parking in, but was gone over the Easter Holiday. They also popped my tired during the tow. They charged me $165 for the tow, plusssss $150 for having it there for the weekend a TOTAL $315. Terrible business, communication and overall service. Before they towed my car, it was perfect and not a bang or hole anywhere. After they towed my car, there were holes, scratches, and scuffs all over the back bumper (where they towed it from). Mike, the "towing guy" immediately jumped in to say it wasn't him. I asked for pictures of the car before they towed it. They had two, both of which conveniently avoided the place that was damaged. The car was only left for a couple hours where it was, and was in no danger of being hit by anybody. I am 100% sure that they hit my car, making me pay $500+ to repair it. CROOKS. I am at a loss for words at how unprofessional a business can be run. I am a young guy who has parked in the same spot for nearly a year when going to work and suddenly after a late night shift my car was towed. This company charged me $300 in towing and storage fees... it was dropped of in a mud pit for 12 hours. At first I was given the price of $250 to get my car back--It was hardly towed a mile. Then the price changed to add extra $50 for 'after hours' because they weren't open on that particular day. Not only was the owner/employee rude, she was unreasonable, uncivil and dishonest. I am shocked that they can sleep at night charging someone (who doesn't have much money) a price in which they cannot refuse. Fraudulent despicable people. Sister hit elk near Bozeman. State police called tow zone. 375 for tow, 150 cause guy had to use a dolly. 95 for "clean up." Ok I get that. BUT, 75 gate fee I guess to push a button at their yard. Then they charged 2 days of storage in 8 hours. Car got to the lot at 1 am. I called them by 1 pm same day. Then Mike, tells me cars worth nothing, maybe 35 bucks for scrap. I say ok, I send the title up and you guys dispose of it. He says fine. Lady says we can remove the gate fee and storage. I hang up and get 2 offers from other scrap yards for 1450 and 1820. I call back and tell Tow Zone to release car and I want to pay the bill. Well the bill went up a hundred bucks. I have a call into state police and Montana inspector general office. If you can avoid these people. read more

Unethical, unprofessional, and scammers! This tow company must have something in cahoots with "Go Wireless" on 11th! "Go Wireless" told me they had 3 cars towed today!!! Tow Zone making bank on a Sunday with "Go Wireless!" We are from out of town, and stopped into the Go Wireless store for a small accessory. We decided to eat at the restaurant connected next door. We come out, my moms car is gone! To read my review about "Go Wireless" head there! When we called this tow company, he made us wait for an hour to get our car, wouldn't tell me who dispatched him, CASH ONLY, $175. This crap show of a towing company is just disgusting. My son, a veteran of the USCG for he last 13 years was in an accident last night on icy roads. This crap company was called out to tow him They charged him 600 dollars to go a few miles. He had it picked up from them this morning less than 24 hours of it being in their yard. He was completely ripped off. I contacted the "manager" who tried to bs me about the justification for charging or should I say gouging my son. This company will literally bend you over, and take full advantage of you, when you are in distress. How egregious is that? Avoid at all costs. They don't give two craps about their customers. That much is obvious. A money grab at the highest level. Avoid like the plague. This is completely unacceptable and I will be going to the media outlets in Bozeman and exposing this rip off artist for who he really is. You have messed with the wrong one. Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY unless you enjoy getting ripped off. Complete and total unprofessional conduct. I guess this idiot needed more money to pay for his ugly tattoos. So reprehensible. Super rude and very unprofessional. Refused to listen to my insurance company on where to take my vehicle after an accident and tried to keep it. They refused to give the collusion center my car and tried claiming my vehicle as a total (which they are not authorized to do). They had my vehicle in a separate place from there original tow yard and were questioning me if I got insurance involved or not. I felt so uncomfortable with the situation that another tow company had to be called to remove my vehicle from their possession. Have had to deal with them twice and both experiences have been very horrible. They were very sketchy and very over price. If negative stars were an option that is what I would rate them. read more

We have used Tow Zone multiple times and found them very helpful and responsive. Their price is inline with what other companies charge. It looks like the other reviews have come in from people who parked somewhere they shouldn't have and had their car towed as a result. When you need assistance, I recommend Tow Zone. read more

I wish I could give a negative! Gina, the one who I met with, was a total bitch! They towed my car from downtown when I was parked in a reserved spot during business hours, which it wasn't business hours. She told me she couldn't even wait more than 20 minutes, when they just towed my car and it wasn't there yet for me to get cash. So I had to hurry and get $225, FUCKING RIDICULIUS, for them to basically rob me or else I'd have to wait until tomorrow. These guys are ASSHOLES and AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! HORRID PEOPLE! read more

Last night my car got towed at around 6:30pm in one of the 4 delivery spots behind the Pour House/Tarantino's pizzeria. I was grabbing a quick bite to eat with my best friend who recently got back from her 2 month trip to Europe. I called the towing company most likely around 10 minutes after when I ran out to my car to grab my laptop to finish a case study. I called the lady and she was extremely rude on the phone. Met the guy at 7:15pm, he was already 10 minutes late. They charged me $250 to get my car back. Likely wasn't even impounded for more than an hour and apparently there is a $75 late fee added on because of late night hours. So what, I was just going to leave my car over night and pay even more the next day? They are a complete rip-off. I've dealt with this company before and now I am writing both a consumer complaint to Consumer Affairs in Helena and placing a small claims complaint with the Gallatin County Small Claims Court. I shouldn't have paid $250 for no more than an hour of impoundment!! If I could negative star, I would. Terrible company. You need to be regulated by the law and not scheme money out of people. They damaged my car while towing it and of course there is no recourse. That said the funniest thing was how nice the girl sounded on the phone when I called, but then you get there and she was like jaba the hutt sitting behind the desk. She was literally eating one of those long jelly donuts when I walked in with the jelly filling dripping down the side of her mouth. She looked up and wiped it off with her sleave! Also, it was like a missing link convention at their office. They guys were lurking around rubbing their protruding foreheads and itching themselves. My car was towed because I was parked illegally. Turns out I had to contact Tow Zone to get it back. When I called, the first thing the lady said to me when she knew it was my car was "It's $175, cash only" in the rudest way without a hint of sympathy. When I finally found the location (not at all convenient for anyone living in Bozeman) and shelled out the $175, I was treated with not an ounce of good customer service. The man and woman working were not friendly in the slightest. Once I paid, we also had to drive to a completely different location to get the actual car. I realize it was my fault the car got towed but if I'm paying a company that much money, on top of having an awful day, a smile would be nice. I would never use Tow Zone for anything else (unless it's out of my control I guess). read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The woman at the front desk goes out of her way to be rude and short, both on the phone and in person. As difficult as it gets. In person, I watched a girl who had just been in the hospital from a car crash and her car had been towed to towzone and her purse, wallet, and phone were in her car and the woman working at towzone would not let her get into her car to get her phone and purse because she didnt have her ID on her. My husband and I had our pickup towed and it was not in a tow away zone. It was also parked in a group of about five other cars and none of them were towed. When we called to get our vehicle back the guy told us we had twenty minutes to get to the lot and get our pickup. We rushed home (On foot in snow & 28 degree weather) and we got our other car. When we got to the lot he met us there and then rudely told my husband cash only.... he said that he told my husband that on the phone... HE NEVER DID!!! If he had we would have stopped by the ATM on the way to the lot!!! Because we only had a check he refused to give us our vehicle back and now is charging us $50 more to get it tomorrow... PREDATORS!! As all others who have reviewed this company, I was completely shocked and angered by Tow Zone's predatory business practices(there's a special place for people who prey on 20 year old, scared, naive young adults...hopefully that's the unemployment line for these people). My son was quoted a charge of $367.50 while I was on the phone with him the night he was towed after his accident (for a tow of approx 10 miles but they actually charge by the minute!!! It was 90 minutes) and then was charged $564! After speaking with another tow company owner and AAA, I was informed that these charges were no where close to being in line with industry stardards(nicely stated by AAA) and "robbery" as stated by the owner of other tow company. When I questioned Tow Zome's inflated, unethical, predatory, ever changing charges, I was told that since I disagreed with the charges, my son would then have to pay cash to get his truck out, and they wouldn't accept my credit card payment. The rep I talked to was not concerned in the least that requiring that would mean a trip back over the pass to Livingston(where he had just had the accident hours earlier) to get the cash. His safety meant nothing to her. Getting $564 from a 20 year old guy who fairly, rightfully earned his wages was her concern. Sad thing is most of the vehicles towed by this company are towed because of an accident (not sure why this company is still on the Montana Highway Patrol rotation) or because they were illegally parked (if some were actually parked illegally is questionable when you read other reviews). Those who have a choice of what tow company to use, please be diligent and read the reviews! There's a very good reason, lots of them actually, why this company is not a AAA approved service provider and has a 1 star rating! I have no doubt that this company will not change their practices. I can only hope that people will see the 1 star rating and choose a reputable company in Bozeman who deserves their business because this one isn't it!! read more

The Tow Zone employees are rude, surly, unethical and conniving. I was towed yesterday after parking in an empty lot adjoining a local restaurant. I parked under the sigh which read" Customers Only: Tow Zone 585-555. The sign was not specific as to "Who was considered a Customer" and I innocently assumed I was good to go as a Customer of the Restaurant. To my chagrin, when I returned after lunch, my car was gone. At first I thought it was stolen--but noticing the phone number on the sign, I tried to call. After numerous unanswered attempts, the phone was answered. Tow Zone informed me they had been watching (spying on) me and moments after walking from my car, they towed it. Never in my experience as a lifetime Bozemanite, have I experienced such insulting and conniving behavior. The Tow Zone rep could have courteously tapped me on the shoulder and informed me I had parked in the Wrong "Customer Only" spot and suggested I move my car, before they were forced to tow it. Instead, their greed got in the way; They would not relinquish my car's location until I paid them $175 in cash at their Lea address; then to discover I would still need a ride to get my car which had been towed to a junk yard behind the Filling Station. I caution Commuity Health Partners (whose office was closed that afternoon) to find a more reputable company to monitor their lot as doing business with these folks tarnishes their reputation as well. Community Health Partners has a lot that is legitimately posted as a tow zone. My wife parked in the lot next to this, which is NOT posted as a tow zone. She went to the Rethink Dentist clinic up the road and she came out to no car! She immediately thought the car was stolen and started running around frantically and saw the signs in the adjacent lot with the phone number and called. The receptionist at Tow Zone was friendly and assured us if we had any questions as to why we were towed the drivers would be able to explain and they usually take photos. Upon going down there the drivers stated that they did not take a picture prior to towing! I showed the driver the pictures I took and where my wife was parked, he said "no, she was parked on the other side of the concrete barrier in the Community Health Partners lot" - my word vs. his, not worth going to court over $175 but Bozeman is not the western mountain town I thought it was when we moved here last summer, with this experience and cost of living we will definitely be relocating to Belgrade or even further. A law needs to be implemented requiring tow truck drivers to take a picture prior to towing to stop these scammers! If I ever am in a situation and need a tow I will be sure to not use this company, especially after reading other experiences posted on here. read more
