Still a great place to experience wings. This is their fame. And they do a nice job. On this night I thought the wings were perhaps over cooked. The outside was nicely crisp. There was no pink inside. However, the meat was a bit tough. The teriyaki sauce was wet and smooth and delicious! The Tower has a nice taste but possibly a bit dry. This was a very busy night. I've dined in a few times, and it is your standard local dive bar experience. Strong drinks, good service, and karaoke is always fun when they do have it. It does tend to fill up and get cramped really quickly on a weekend so if you are claustrophobic or don't like big crowds, I would recommend maybe looking for a different bar. That being said, Tower has the THE BEST wings in all of FW as a long time local. The Tower grilled in particular are exceptional. So much so I will drive all the way across town just for these wings. They give you a good balance of flats and drums but you can pay and upcharge to make them all just flats or drums. My only complaint is that you can only order it in a set of 10 wings, which is slightly frustrating when I want more or less. read more

We visited this place for dinner before a concert one night. It's a small place and feels comfortable. It took a long time before someone came over to take our drink order and they weren't that busy. They do not have beer on tap, which is a bummer. We started with loaded fries which were very good! I got the grilled chicken sandwich- it was dry & overcooked. We ordered carry out for a day at home! The food is delicious! Everything we got was amazing and super flavorful! The tower seasoning on my boneless wings were super good!! My husband said his burger was good but spicy (he knew that going in though haha). The environment was so cute and cozy!!! The servers were so kind and continued to communicate! Tower has been around for years and has their following. They're known for the Tower wings and I'll admit they are the bomb. My wife and and I stopped in after a little Friday night shopping as she was craving a burger. Typical bar set up, with typical bar food. As with most places these days, service is so-so. The fried pickles and sauce were some of the better ones around. My wife's burger hit the spot. I had the 3 slider platter with fries, with both items nice and tasty with a cold beer. read more

Speed, quality, friendly. These are all things you can expect from Tower. My brother in law and I decided to go to Tower after a night of cigars. We were created with a smile and quickly seated. After a few moments we were offered the opportunity to place a drink order and food order. Which we did. All flats as usual for me and I was wanting to try their hot sauce. When I tell you fast, I mean fast. Our order came out, correctly made, within only a few minutes. I'm not sure watch magic tower is got behind the kitchen but it is awesome. The wings were cooked perfectly and tasted so good. The hot sauce is about what you would expect from a regular Franks red hot sauce, which is my favorite I might add. My brother in law ordered their special tower wings. This was a dry rub style wing. He let me try one of his and it is nothing to be disappointed by. If you are a dry rub type of wing person I highly recommend ordering them. The inside of the restaurant is nothing too amazing. It's a regular bar type feel but kept nice and clean. After reading recommendations on FB, we were eager to come but we were really disappointed. They may have been understaffed, but the service was terrible, with no explanation. It appeared as if one guy was waiting most of the tables. We all got different burgers and they were all mediocre. Fries were pretty good. I've been to the Tower before (probably almost 10+ years ago now) and remember it being better than it is now. I think back then they allowed smoking, so it's really been a hot minute since I've been there. I went for lunch on break so I can't comment on the alcohol situation, looked like most people were buying bottles of domestics that were there. I would say this place is definitely a bar where regulars mostly are coming in (and probably have been for decades) and probably people from Dana across the street. The servers know their clients which is nice :) They also don't ignore interlopers like myself and were attentive. I got the wings and requested them grilled, all flats (there is an upcharge of $2 if you want to do that) and got half with the honey sriracha and half with the hot. The wings tasted more like they were fried first and then finished on the grill for a little char, so I was not expecting them to have some oiliness to them that was there. In the past they were juicy, tender and smoky from the grill - not at all the experience I got this time. Also, they were on the salty side and had no heat at all which was super disappointing. I think it would really help if they listed their sauces in order of heat level - that would make it easier to select the sauce (at least for me). I would return to try again - they may have just had an off day for their wings. read more

This is a bustling, neighborhood bar, through and through, with a lively atmosphere of friendly people. I stopped in on an off-wing-special evening (per other Yelpers recommendation) and ordered Honey Sriracha and Tower Grill wings with a 1/2 order of Tower Fires (see photo). After reading others write-ups I went in expecting to have some phenomenal wings, but to be completely honest, they were just okay. I am not giving up on this place, mind you. I plan on giving Tower Bar & Grill another try and see how their sauced wings compare to the dry, grilled variety. When that happens, I'll update my review! read more

Good local bar. Nothing fancy at all--just comfortable. Great wings with unique flavors. They serve very good pirogies on certain nights--along with other a decent quality steak make it a unique dinner in Fort Wayne. Affordable prices. The place is usually pretty busy with all types of folks. Waitresses work hard to meet your needs, just be patient. I was skeptical at first, the outside did not match the high praise seen on Yelp. As I entered, I was greeted so warmly by the staff and the patrons. They were kind and engaging. When my wings arrived, I was completely in awe, they were big, juicy and succulent. The flavor was was mild but still a touch of spice. They were wet but not messy. My husband enjoyed the ribs, I sneaked a pinch of his rack. The ribs were tender and meaty with just the right amount of sauce. It's become my new favorite. read more

Tower is an absolute hole in the wall, where you may feel out of place with the regulars. They have like 2 beers on tap, and karaoke on Friday nights for some reason. But the reason to go to Tower is for the wings. My favorite are the Tower Grilled boneless, but they are all deadly. One nice feature is that they will grill any of the wings for you, which I like to take advantage of. If you do t go to Tower, you won't miss anything. I have heard so many times at how good of Wings Towers has and the hype was so worth it. This small bar has some of the best Wings in the Fort. I love the option to have them grilled as well. Came to Ft Wayne to visit with family, and for lunch I was taken to this spot. Had no expectations. My cousin knew about it because of several friends that work across the street at Dana. Towers is a regular spot, once employees from Dana get off work. I ordered 10 barbecue hot traditional wings fried hard along with a MIller Lite.... Wings cooked to perfection, sauce was one of the best I've had. Wings were so good that I wanted others to try, so I went back the next day and ordered 70. I got barbecue hot, Tower Special, fajita grill and medium. Amazing. I even had a native of Ft. Wayne who goes here all the time switch over to barbecue hot. Normally he eats the teriyaki. Wow, I think the people saying this place has the best wings in Fort Wayne were right after all. I've tried the fajita grilled and the citrus chipotle grilled and both floated my boat! DH likes the Asian chicken salad. Lots of meat and a yummy dressing. The drinks are delicious. The atmosphere very casual and comfortable. I like how so many people know each other.It's the kind of place we want to go back to you again and again. DS was here with us tonight and ordered a burger, his favorite. If I could rate this business as a negative 20 I would. We had friends visit from out of town and went to dinner and then tried to go to the Tower Bar for after dinner drinks. We arrived at 12:30 am and saw several people's in parking lot obviously a little over indulgent. So ok it's a bar they are leaving. We went inside and noticed no one was seated in the bar, while there was four people it seemed working behind the bar. These four individuals felt the need to start yelling at us saying, " this bar is closed get the hell out!!!" So obviously with the doors not being locked and all lights on how would one know that the bar is closed? Obviously they have much to learn when operating a business. Having your employee who seemed to be a little indulgent yelling at patrons when they enter the business that has posted signage saying closing is at 3 am is not the best business image that one wants to be known for. So , to say the least, having your employees screaming at potential costumers entering your establishment is one of the worst imaginable scenarios that a business owner would want to have seen. Needless to say my friends think that Fort Wayne hospitality is subpar and will not return!!!!!!!!!! read more

We were in town for a basketball tournament. We ordered about 40 wings the night we arrived. They were cooked just right and the sauces were solid. I was a vegetarian for two years and this was the first place that I knew wanted to go when I was able to eat meat again! The wings here are the best in town!!! I love this hole in the wall and it's my go to bar whenever I am in Fort Wayne. It can get really busy here on Wednesday and Saturday because of their wing specials but will be worth any wait. They also have karaoke here on certain nights and it's a lot of fun watching the people sing. The waitress are also extremely friendly. There have been times when we would come here with a big group and they were able to accommodate us and move the tables around so we were all able to all sit together. I remember also bringing in a cake for a friend's birthday and the waitress was also able to store it in their fridge for us until we were ready for it. There was another time I bought a friend who was from out of town here and she really wanted to have some dessert so we asked if they had any. The waitress replied that they didn't but then came by later with two Hershey's chocolate bar. It was thoughtful of her to do that. I have always been a fan of this place and will always because of the small things that they do for their customers. If you haven't been here you really do need to you won't regret it! read more

Ive only really had their wings here but OMG can you say CCBG? No it is not some kind of STI lmao. The ccbg wings are citrus, chipotle, bbq, grilled and they have the most amazing flavor. Normally I am a die hard medium, mild or buffalo (since it changes from place to place) flavor kinda girl but these are enough to tempt me away from my usual go to. The service here in the AM is pathetic. I stopped going here after work in the morning because 1. The service is always aweful, you will be lucky if they come to your table more than twice. 2. The servers are not friendly at all. 3. They have 3 maybe 4 beers on tap and all of them are bad. 4. The bottled beer is always near luke warm and the bottle beer selection is also very limited. 5. Heart burn or not here I come! I absolutely love their wings: tower grilled and citrus Chipotle grilled. If it's wing night, the parking lot will be packed and you may have to stand around for a while before seats open up. It's well worth the wait. There are a few items that people overlook when coming here. Try their sweet roll sliders and steak specials! They're delicious. The atmosphere is casual and extremely loud. But once you're there the delicious flavors of the food blur out all the other minor details. They also host karaoke nights. This place is really made to make memories :) read more
