I VERY recently picked up golfing with my husband and this has been the spot. It's perfect to swing by after work and hit a big basket of balls. $17 for an hour of fun is more than worth it to us. We've been in bays and on the turf, both spots are great. But we do love the fans in the bays haha! Even on the busiest days, we haven't had any issues finding two bays next to each other. And they do get busy. Their concessions have $5 beers which is sweet. Their field is beautiful with plenty of flags to aim for. It's been really fun to watch myself progress here. Yay! Tower Tee was able to stay! I have been coming to Tower Tee since I was young. I was so excited when they re-opened and to visit and check it out. I was not disappointed! The recent updates are FABULOUS! Excellent driving range area with so many bays. Most are shaded with fans, so even on a hot, sunny day it is comfortable. They also have an area uncovered that are real greens if you prefer to practice there. Easy to get balls and refills either inside at the counter or at one of the many ball dispensers. There are so many things to do here! Two large covered patios with tables and large screen TVs to take a break, relax, or have a snack and drink. Bonus: they usually have the Cardinals game on to watch! They also have batting cages, bocce ball, practice putting greens, golf putting game, foot golf, and a par three course with nine holes. Seven of the nine holes are under 100 yards, so a great place for beginners or to practice your short game. They also offer many classes or individual lessons. I did the Chip n Sip lesson and had a great time! The grounds are very clean and well maintained! There is a snack bar that has food and drinks like beer, wine and seltzers. Overpriced at $17 for 9 holes and mostly hitting half wedges off a mat. For $10-15 more you can play 18 at a real course where you can hit all your clubs off the grass. Even worse is that you incur about $5 extra for paying online. read more

Been coming here for over a year now, it's a beautiful facility but it could be a lot better ran. They are often closed or have limited access to certain things, so it's important to check their website before going (i've been let down many times) Why 3 stars: poor decision making - taking away the holes at putting green ( taken at least 4 strokes off my game, unrealistic) - closing the driving range to replace "poor grass" during the best time of the year to go. - not offering a better rewards program - not offering a combination of balls, and chip/putting deal Pros - cheap and nicely taken care of par 3 - mats & grass driving range - top tracer option - friendly staff - great great great chipping area - gave a discount when driving range was limited - wide assortment of things golf related - great prices for gloves / other Cons - pricey for driving range - chipping/putting used to be the best deal ever, until they removed holes on green - bad rewards program read more

Happy with the new improved golf center on Heege Road. the driving range is top notch without the frills of Top Golf, although that other center is lots of fun for a social outing. The par 3 course is in great shape and the new owners have apparently invested lots of time and $$$$ in the renovation. read more

3/4 STAR They should remove 'Recreation' from their description, because my experience was anything but. My 10 year old son & I finally found a free evening to play 9 holes on the Par 3 Course. On our way to the first tee, we were greeted by a Karen, I mean Kevin. We were about 3 minutes past our scheduled tee time, and boy did we get an ear full. But I understand the importance of keeping on a schedule, so I let it roll off my back. Another group came up right behind us, so I offered to let them jump ahead of us so we weren't holding them up. This did not please Karen, I mean Kevin. He mentioned we better 'hurry it up.' So we went about our business. While on the green of the 5th tee, Karen, I mean Kevin came marching across the course to tell us 'we better pick up the pace because we're holding up the whole operation!' I was confused because we were finishing up on the green, as the group behind us were walking up to the next tee. The group ahead of us were finishing up on the green just ahead of us as well. I explained that we couldn't move forward if we wanted to since the group ahead was still on the green. His response was 'Well they're all the way up there, and we need to keep it moving!' Poor thing probably needed to check his blood sugars, because he was totally out of line. While I can appreciate someone who takes their job seriously, his presence was unnecessary / unwanted. Even the group ahead of us commented to me that he was uncalled for, and they had never seen anything like that from field staff before, especially for this type of course. Management said the course time average is about 60 - 75 minutes. We made it in about 65 minutes, and I didn't notice any backups, or anyone waiting. Anyway, I don't think I'll hurry back. Next time I'll opt for a judgement-free course. read more

We went to Tower Tee a couple weeks ago, a group of 3 adults and 1 child for some evening fun. I love that this place is nearby where we live and when we want to go smack some balls for fun we don't have to drive out to Top Golf. We went with the Top Tracer Game so we could just practice swinging and hitting some balls. They supplied us with a bucket of balls and told us how we could get more and it was only $25/hr for the whole group of us. They had a few games to choose from on the computer (My favorite was the fishing one). They also were able to supply us with kids clubs and rental clubs. While they don't wait on you for food and drink like Top Golf, there are snacks and a bar available on premise which is just as good to me. From the driving range bay we were on, we had to walk into the building and out the other side to get drinks but they had your standard rail options and some nicer options as well as snacks that were affordable. One thing I wish is that they had drink carriers or something like that to help you get back to your crew without trouble since I had to go through doors and was carrying drinks and snacks for 4. We want to go in the future and try out the batting cages. The whole place is clean, nice, and new. They also have something called "FootGolf" which is like a blend of golf and soccer I guess. Have never tried it but I see a fun future night ahead. Not too stuffy like some golf courses and I like that you can just go there with the family or friends for a night of fun. read more

They take too much priding in gatekeeping their short game area. If you are a paying customer spending $12 on a bucket of balls you should be able to use the putting green at least. I've brought up a combo deal of range balls plus short game area because charging paying customers (when the range balls aren't cheap to begin with) an extra $5 is greedy. Love hanging out there just wish it was more budget friendly. read more
