The cut flowers have been fresh and lasted considerably longer than a fresh cut bouquet from other places I have previously shopped or ordered from. In a world where the customer service scale usually hovers around "Mediocre" for most establishments, the customer service from T&C has been a 10 star experience. Madelyn is an artist at flower arrangement and has demonstrated an ability to collect my cryptic descriptions of what I envision and create a collection that pleases the eye and stimulates the senses. This is my "go to" floral shop. I really didn't give Cait much to work with when I called since I know next to nothing about flowers, but they really knocked it out of the park. My grandparents both passed away within a year of each other. We used this flower shop for floral arrangements at the funerals. At my grandpa's funeral, an arrangement had "grandpa" spelled out in foil lettering along one of the ribbons. During the private family visitation, we realized half of the lettering was gone, leaving just "gran" on the ribbon. I don't understand how it went unnoticed. We called the floral shop. They came out to fix the problem and it was resolved before the funeral home opened for public visitation. We considered it to be a fluke and eventually forgot about it. So, when my grandma passed away nine months later, we used them again. Unfortunately, we had more problems. Grandma's wedding flower was calla lilies. So, we thought it would be nice if her arrangements during her funeral included the same flower. When we arrived for the private family visitation, all of the calla lilies in the arrangement were dead. We spent much of the hour-long private visitation trying to fix the problem before the public visitation began. The shop did not have any more calla lilies, so they substituted them with a white flower, defeating the purpose of the calla lilies to begin with. I can't give Flower Shoppe one star because they were very apologetic and worked quickly to resolve the problems we had. However, we shouldn't have to spend the majority of both private visitations asking a professional flower shop to fix problems they should spot before they send their arrangements not even a mile away. read more

This is a very important event that you need arrangements to be delivered on time and arranged appropriately, and not in the middle of a service! My mom ordered flowers for me online and luckily enough Town & Country Gardens in Algonquin received the order. I received the beautiful arrangement of mixed flowers and they lasted for 2 weeks. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service of this florist. My husband sends me flowers a couple times a year and usually orders through Teleflora. On our anniversary, he sends a bouquet that has one rose for each year together. This is year 9 for us. The bouquet had 6 roses. The roses were absolutely beautiful, however, my husband is upset because he paid for 9 roses to represent our time together. He contacts Teleflora who offers to reimburse $20. This was not a cheap bouquet. He tells them that is not acceptable and he wants them to either deliver what he ordered or reimburse all of the money and they can pick up the flowers they delivered to my school. What does a good business owner do? They choose to come to my school and take the flowers back! Instead of bringing me 3 more roses or remaking the bouquet and then take the wrong one back, they send a delivery driver all the way out and call me out of my first grade classroom to give them back their flowers! Way to show appreciation for your customers and to take responsibility for your mistake! read more

TERRIBLE customer service...yesterday my mom's boyfriend ordered some flowers be delivered to my mom's since she is sick...well my mom received a voice mail at 10:45 stating that within the half hour hour a package would be delivered and could she be home to sign for it or if that didn't work please call them back... Well I get home from the dentist around 12:50 and the package has yet to arrive so my mother calls them back and asks about it status, in which they proceed oh well you didn't call us back so we had it driven back to us, first off the message never stated if she didn't call they wouldn't drop it off it was vice versa, so moving on they say alright another delivery is set for cary we will bring it by around 2 and it's 1 pm when this phone call takes place ... so my mother and I wait and do a few things around the house to pass the time before running errands and before you know it turns 3:15 so I'm getting frustrated and my mom is too so she calls them yet again to ask about the status of the delivery and the lady from the store says, "well we called you and no one answered so we left it at a neighbor named Joe's whose garage door was open who says he knows you...." well first things first we do not have a neighbor named joe, and secondly was their a missed call on my mother's phone? NO!! it was next to her on loud.... so you guys screwed up and then proceeded to lie to my mother because you guys are pathetic to own up to your mistake... we had my mother's boyfriend call and rectify the situation the only thing you guys alright was refund the poor guy but you best believe that we told him to NEVER ever use your company again. YOU SUCK!!!!!! read more

Ok.....I spent a few years in a row going to Pro Flowers or some online joint. After getting it wrong time and time again I chose these guys cause they were local. This is the 4th straight year in a row I've used them and let me tell you....they get it right. EVERY TIME! Beautiful, amazing and you couldn't ask for more. Sure, you might have to pay a tad more, but you get what you pay for with these guys. I just got feedback from flowers I had delivered and they are blown away. Beautiful!!!!! I got Long stem pink roses from them for valentines day which you know was not cheap at all. they were so pretty I loved them! then next day when I came in half of them were dead! I called the shop and the put together a different arrangement of pink roses and we had to pick them up. and I loved those to but again the Next day i came in they were dead. Now I have had flowers next to these from target for almost a week and they were still alive and I only paid $5.00 for them. I again called them and they delivered this time another arrangement but again this only last a couple days. I have order from local shops before and have never had them die like this what a waste of money for them to last 1 day!!! I didn't even bother calling again to let them know I have already replaced them 3 times prior. I was happy they replaced them but then the delivery driver told me that it was probably the door opening and closing or a vent which the $5.00 flowers were perfectly fine still. I would go elsewhere or even target cause they seem to last longer.. read more
