I am extremely disappointed with this store. I placed on order on Monday for flowers to be delivered to my mom on Valentine's Day (Wednesday). My dad passed a few years ago so my sisters and I have been sending her flowers on valentines every year. Sure enough, no word from her all day so I called the next morning and the store confirmed that they had overlooked my order. They offered next day delivery or refund but no complementary or discount on a future order. They were of course apologetic which was to be expected. Town and Country was a vendor recommended by our venue Riverside Receptions, and it was with good reason. Jamie was great in helping me pick out flowers within our wedding budget and setting up a payment plan. And even when we added flowers a few weeks out, they were great. Prices seemed reasonable and the flowers were absolutely beautiful. I've never seen lavender roses before and the hydrangeas were gorgeous. They not only withstood the weather on our special day, but even held up to being moved multiple times to different outdoor locations. The next day without being refrigerated or cared for specifically, we were able to transfer them into vases where they continued to open up and bloom. read more

At some point last year I got fed up and said next time I bought flowers it would be from someone local. Mother's Day 2021 arrived and I needed to order flowers. I asked for it to be delivered the day before Mother's Day (Saturday). Sure enough, it showed up on Saturday. Not only was it on time but the quality of the flowers were excellent. My wife was impressed. Roses were the size of my fist. Very pleased with how they turned out. Yes, Town & Country Gardens is a bit more expensive than 1-800-Flowers. 1. Delivered late 2. Delivery driver LIED and said no one was home 3. The flowers received were sub par, and "filler flowers used", zero color scheme, arrangement sparse even though I ordered the upgraded version "best" of the arrangement. 4. Was told by customer service thru FTD , they would re do the arrangement and send another. Multiple calls and emails have been made and no attempt to produce/ replace the flowers I ordered. Ordered flowers to be delivered on 3/1 for a birthday. The delivery driver stated no one was home, didn't call me, texted me that no one was home. I didn't see the text for a few mins, when I texted back I asked if they could be left at door, they texted back "no". I called florist and they said they would attempt to reach driver. Florist called back and said driver would not go back to house. When I checked with the person I had the flowers sent to, she let me know 3 people were home ( 3 cars in driveway)including her, plus her 2 dogs bark any time a delivery is made, let alone some one knocking / ringing doorbell. An arrangement was sent the next day- day after the birthday. And the arrangement in no way was what I ordered and paid for. I have called and emailed multiple times and let them know that FTD told me a replacement arrangement would be sent- still nothing SPEND YOUR MONEY AT A REPUTABLE FLORIST- NOT AT Town and Country Gardens. read more

Flowers are a huge expense, and Sabrina went out of her way to find ways to be efficient by moving lanterns with twinkle lights from the ceremony to the tables and repurposing the many bridesmaid bouquets as a few of the centerpieces down the very long head table. I purchased an expensive floral arrangement to be sent to a friend in need. It was not delivered to the recipient. First, I was told the business to where it is going was closed yesterday - I know for a fact that it wasn't. I called today to see if it was delivered yet today and was told the flowers were given to someone else who walked out of a shop next door and said she would give them to the recipient. My wedding was on Saturday and my bouquet is still alive and well. My ceremony and reception were held in the same room that was flipped after the ceremony during cocktail hour, the florist stayed behind to help rearrange all the flowers on to the different tables. I would definitely recommend this place to a bride looking to get amazing flowers for a good deal. Everybody love the arrangements and commented on how beautiful they were. As an out-of-town bride, Jamie was so great at communicating any changes and/or requests we had for our Chicago wedding. Everything from the bouquets to the greenery garland to the table centerpieces were incredible and beyond our expectations. I had a very specific vision in my mind and Jamie was able to help bring that vision to life. She was even able to help incorporate things I had purchased on my own for our table centerpieces. On our wedding day, she informed me that the greenery sprays were not going to be able to be attached to our copper arch and instead we decided to drape them from the arch and it turned out even better than what we originally planned. My wedding was a year and a half ago and I'm still disappointed on the flowers for my bouquet. When I was handed my bouquet before walking down the aisle, I immediately noticed a lot of the flowers were already wilting and drying up. In other words they were not fresh! I also noticed a little mold growing on the stems. Huge disappointment. The center pieces where not what I had asked for as well. If I could do it again I would not have chosen this place.
