We had called many times just to be left on hold for 10-15 minutes at a time, which i understand but not only that my family had nothing to do at a place where there's activity's every hour. Not only that the employees were driving like maniacs and almost hit our family a couple times when going around the lake, but they are so understaffed. Maybe if they got their staff under control my family would actually enjoy and want to spend our money here.i wouldn't recommend coming in on a thursday nothing to do and kids will be upset and bored.

I really wanted to like this place. I loved the idea of a Jellystone yogi bear campground. The kids…read moreliked it. The new splash area is really really cool. My main complaint is the cleanliness. I know it's a campground but with shared bathrooms they need to be cleaned way more often and probably hourly. The door knob fell off when I tried to go to the bathroom and it's clear to me that's not a new issue. I for sure did not break it, It just fell off at the touch. The activities are fine but I think I'd rather try a different jellystone next time. I'm editing and adding one more star because we really did have a lot of fun and Cindy's birthday party was a blast.

It is the most beautiful property filled with fun things to do for the kids. The lakes are stocked for fishing, there are Paddle Boats, play grounds. Basketball court, mini golf, a baseball area, and the best thing for kids....a jumping pillow!! It wears those kids out! The BEST part is Litchfield lake is 2.4 miles away and has Milnot beach! It has a floating obstacle course, swings, rentable Kayaks, and a diving platform all supervised by life guards...it is super reasonable and you can bring coolers with food. We have stayed at several of the cabins and they are always clean and ready to go. There is a TV with DVD player in the bigger cabins for when it rains. Walmart and Aldi are 10 minute away too. We love this place and have three weekends booked this summer.

The sewer hook up doesn't have threads to screw in our elbow so sewage could possibly escape. Husband found a brick to lay on it. The electric and water are towards the back of the site and very hard to reach. We had to use two hoses for water and electrical cords are stretched completely out. We are seasoned RVers! This is not normal. There is no WiFi here at all and for 50 amp pull through $43.00. The park is very beautiful but we needed a good nights rest and a simple hook up which was far from the case!

I was on my way to Wisconsin from Louisiana on June 29th, 2016 when I received a phone call from my…read moreemployer requesting my assistance on a one day project back in Louisiana for the following day. I decided to find an RV park near Litchfield, IL where I could leave my camper so I wouldn't have to drag it back down South for a one day job. I called Lazy Days Campground inquiring about an RV spot for two nights, briefly explaining my situation. The gentleman whom answered the phone was initially helpful but made it clear that they could only accommodate me for two nights because they were booked up for the weekend. He then affected an extremely belligerent tone and warned me that he would hook a tractor to my travel trailer, drag it to the middle of the road and call a wrecker to haul it away if I hadn't returned by Friday. His remark made me laugh as I visualized him doing this and he became furious. I told him that I would be making other arrangements so as not to cause him any unnecessary distress and he blew-up at me saying that I wasted his time. I apologized and remarked at his rudeness and poor customer service skills before ending the call. He immediately called me back threatening to call my employer and get me fired. (I hadn't told him who my employer was.) In a very loud voice he informed me that he wasn't "Customer Service" but rather, "THE Manager!" Then he challenged me to drive to the campground so he could whoop me. After the second call, I began researching ownership of this campground so I could inform the owner, whom I learned is Lanny Leach, of the way his manager is speaking to potential customers. I'll be darned if I didn't receive another call from this guy asking if I was on my way over and making more threats. I told him I would be contacting Lanny regarding his behavior and he said that the owner was standing right next to him. When I asked if I could speak with Lanny, the man said that he didn't want to talk to me but rather, wanted me to dive over for a confrontation as well. This park looks beautiful but if my phone experience is any indication as to the customer service they offer... No thanks!
