Want a company that looks at your home value on Zillow and then quote you the cost of a pool based in that? You found em! Heard these boys were the best out there by a few neighbors. Arranged a date for a quote and "Quote Lady" shows up. We talk pools for an hour. She walks around and shoots a couple of measurements. Wants to know if I want a spa with the pool. Nope, just a pool please lady and a small one at it. Nothing fancy. Nothing flashy. Just a small pool for the kids. She walks around. Talk more pool talk. "Want a salt water pool. Want a cover. They electric now you know?" Nope. Just something small and hopefully cheapies. She did not look happy but kept on pushing. "What about the pavers. How many feet". Uhmm, what is the least I require? That is what I want:). She goes of explaining that the size of the pool does not really matter. Trucks and labour are the same so it will still be about the same price no matter what the size (bs meter went off at this point). She then says something to this affect "you know the pool should be around 10% of the value of your house. I have looked at your home value and that is around the price it would be". Wait......What! You base your quote on the value of my house!? Yup, she said it. At least she was honest, right? Many weeks later I get the quote in my inbox. It was almost precisely 10% of the value of our home but slightly higher. It was an outrageous amount for nothing more than a hole in the ground filled with water an some paving. We asked for nothing extra just a plain square pool. Obviously we never called them back and still looking for a pool company out there that does good work based on the value of the pool at not the value of our home or our zip code. Hope this helps. I hired Town & Country to build my pool in 2012 and have been using them for the past 6 years for all services, including repairs, weekly maintenance, opening/closing as well as repairs to the ancillary equipment like the heater, lights and vacuum. In 2018, they did a terrible job of opening AND closing the pool. They made a huge mess and wrecked my landscaping. Full disclosure, it was pouring down rain both times, but that doesn't give them the right to do a sub-standard, unprofessional job. I only complained to them when it happened twice in a row. All I wanted was an apology, but they did not even acknowledge my complaint. No one cared, no one called. They did not value me as a customer. I guess they have enough customers and don't mind losing some. They have many good people working there, like the service manager, technicians and weekly cleaners. But the management really disappointed me. read more

An irresponsible company, top to bottom. A Town & Country employee drove his truck past our child's school bus while it was still loading children. Thankfully our children were watching carefully as they got on the bus--otherwise, there might have been tragedy. Town & Country claimed to be very concerned about this -- telling me that they'd identify the employee and take action, and that they would be sure to get back to me. In reality, I got only radio silence. This company put the lives of children at risk and then lied to their concerned parents. read more

They put our pool in 15 years ago in 2008. We had no issues . We now need a normal pool liner replacement due to normal wear . They have been more than helpful. The prices have been fair and the service has been excellent. read more

We have always been extremely pleased with The service we received from Town & Country Pools. They built our pool and have opened and closed it for us every year since. The servicemen are extremely courteous and helpful. They always address our concerns in a timely manner. The servicemen have provided us with their cell phone numbers and are extremely easy to reach at any hour. We will continue to used them for all our pool needs. read more

The pool industry is full of charlatans. Town and Country is NOT one of those companies. They are not the cheapest, but, I learned the hard way you don't want the cheapest. These guys know what they are doing, and they are honest, and will help you out. There is a reason why they are always booked. I have to say, we gave Town & Country Pools every chance to respond to our concerns. The issue: A Town & Country Pool employee chose to drive his vehicle past a loading school bus, with its red lights flashing. This person put the lives of children at risk. He didn't even bother to slow down--just ran right by after the bus had been stopped for over a minute. It gets worse..let me tell you about Town & Country's response. They expressed outrage and sorrow, promising to get to the bottom of the matter. Then, nada. They completely lied to the man who reached out to them about this, saying they would identify the employee and take action. For all of their protestations about how much they love children, they did nothing. Town & Country Pools chooses to employee a man who disregards the lives of children and is stupid enough to do so while driving a clearly marked company vehicle. Town & Country also thought the parents who witnessed this would just go away. Wrong again, guys. read more

I heard these guys were really good, so I contacted them to service a "new" pool for a house I recently purchased. After multiple calls, I didn't get a call back. It was their business to lose, but they lost it. If I can't get a call as a "potential" client, I wouldn't count on a call as a real client. read more

They built our pool with diligence, forethought and great attention to detail. So we let them maintain it summer & winter. Winner! The entire team from contracting to project management to repair and maintenance has been spot on with customer care, issue resolution and follow-up. I know they know customer service, because I do too, beginning in 1956 when I helped on my older brother's paper route. read more

Denny in Alexandria Town and Country Pools have opened and closed our pool for the last three seasons. I feel that I have finally found a reputable company. They are on time and very good at what they do. They also responded in less than a day for an emergency repair. They replaced a my pump in 3 hours. Burton Gray, the owner, and Michele, one of his go-to associates, are true professionals. They have always been prompt, courteous, delivered quality, and have just been a true pleasure to work with. Town and country pools built the pool I have in my backyard 11years ago,so when it came time to replace the tile and plaster we felt comfortable hiring them to do the work. What I thought was a professional,well run company turned out to be the exact opposite. My contract called for the opening of my pool after the water had been added and a week and a half later I still don't have a working filtration system. Apparently this delay could cause staining and damage to the plaster. They have continually given BS excuses as to why my pool is still not operational.DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! According to my pool maintenance company, town and country pools is being irresponsible and not doing their job. read more
