Where do I begin, but to say that Summit Pools was amazing to work with during my difficult above ground pool nightmare. The liner started to come apart on my 2009 Johnny Weissmuller pool. The team came to look at it and discovered that the wall and skimmer were corroded and needed to be replaced. They got right to fixing it during scorching heat. He charged me $700 dollars for the one hour he was here. we agreed on a price to do the work and he said his guys would be out the following Tuesday. Update September 2023: The step refurbishment failed almost immediately with install in August. It's peeling and completely uneven. I kept asking about it for a couple weeks after install and my concern was brushed aside, until it cracked three weeks later. We have been waiting a couple of weeks to get an update on what is happening with the materials that were ordered to fix it. We were given very little information on how to set up our pool once the liner was put in and it was "opened." My husband had to reattach the ladders and handles after we waited 4 months for the job to be finished. Whatever contractor he uses for pool liners is comfortable sitting for three weeks on a completed liner until the truck fills up to send it down. They are also incapable of generating a quote for a cover quickly (they stalled for over 3 weeks) when Leslie's knocked it out in about 2 hours. The lack of communication from the time of quote to the project install was immensely frustrating. So many times we were told he was coming out one day for him to reschedule or not show up. Even worse he would tell us he himself was coming out and then he would just send one of his employees instead. Since the step failed and he came out and told us he would fix it we have been ghosted. What was most perplexing is it took someone else calling him to finally get communication after over two weeks as to the status of the step repair. There was no confirmation prior to coming. He and his crew came to the house Monday September 25th and the step is still unrepaired. We have tried to reach him for almost a week to no avail to understand what the timeline is. I wish I could say this was the first time we've had this issue but this lack of communication has been a constant issue since later this summer. For those of you new to vinyl pool repair, liners and steps have to be done at the same time. You can see in one of the pictures the material used to "refurbish" the step was put down in ways that it is uneven all around the steps and sheds almost every time you touch it. If we cannot get the step to maintain integrity with a repair, we run the risk of not only having to redo the concrete and a new fiberglass step but the liner as well. We went with Vlad originally because he insisted that he could refurbish the step. No other contractor said it was possible. He assured us if he thought it wouldn't work he would replace the step instead before installing the liner. We are now at risk that we may have to almost immediately replace the liner we just had installed that we ordered in April that was only installed in August and get new steps which will easily cost us over $12,000. read more

I have a metal frame 15ft round pool. It is my first pool and didn't take proper care of it. The water had turned green. I cannot say enough good things about Vlad and the team at Summit Pools. We bought a house with a pool in 2022. This spring when the tarp blew off that another company had told us was ok to use to winterize, we noticed the liner was falling out. After contacting 4 different companies to gather quotes to fix our steps and liner I came across Vlad's Summit Pools. Vlad was the only contractor that offered to fix the issues we were concerned about last summer with no luck (refurbishing the fiberglass step for one more round) and replacing the liner. Everyone else wanted to knock out concrete and completely rebuild a step that was in decent shape but needed some TLC. What I appreciated about Vlad was--- he was the only contractor that explained to me why my liner fell out the way it did, and it was related to the winterization. Everyone else focused on the replacing of the step and liner. No one tried to figure out what likely caused it. Vlad explained everything in an incredibly easy to understand way which made it easier for us and he additionally suggested the steps to take for winterization so this next liner lasts as it should. He's not about gimmicks, he doesn't suggest more work than is needed, and the fact he does know how to fix fiberglass steps unlike all the major competitors in the DMV puts him far above the others. He also values first responders and teachers too with his pricing. Now for the rest of this summer I can float in my remodeled pool and know that I have found the company to take care of all my pool needs until I'm old and gray. I really appreciate how communicative Vlad and his team are when issues arise with manufacturers. I moved into my house a year ago and had found many issues with the pool that came with the house to include incompletely closing auto pool cover, pool underwater light flames out, broken uv filter light and an overall ineffective pool filter system. I am a new pool owner and just moved into my new property with a pool that looked like a swamp. The pool and equipment had extensive damages and the whole thing needed to be gutted. I reached out to many pool companies giving me outrageous quotes until I landed at Summit Pools. Vlad, the owner of Summit Pools was very prompt and courteous in responding to all the questions I had regarding remodeling the pool and replacing all the equipment. He made three trips to assess the damage and determine the work needed to have my pool up and running. Vlad provided a very reasonable quote for such a large project. Him and his team did an amazing job at replacing the liner, adding a new pump and filtration system, installing the LED light and gave me a head start on all the chemicals that I would need to maintain the pool for the whole season. Summit Pools used the best and high quality materials on the market and they saved me money wherever they could. I have a 20' by 40' pool which would need 35000 gallons of water and I was able to use my home water to fill the pool. The rest of the pool companies were charging me $2500 to fill up with a water truck. They also did an amazing job at closing the pool as well and provided me with everything required for an additional charge. If you are looking to replace a liner or need rework of an existing pool, I would recommend no one besides Summit Pools. They are very knowledgeable and do very high quality installation and maintenance. If you hire them, they will not disappoint. I will never go elsewhere for my pool concerns.
