I have been there when it was Darrell's, , Veritas, and I was really surprised that the design was so basic. When we were seated I noticed we were the only people in the restaurant. The staff was all piled in the kitchen talking and milling about. When our waitress finally came, my friend asked what was in one of the menu items. The waitress seemed annoyed and said she didn't know but it was on the menu. She kept sighing every time we had a question. I got a side salad and the whipped hot honey goat cheese and bruschetta and my friend just ended up getting the soup. To me, the side salad was arranged on a smaller plate and the lettuce and veggies kept falling out. The goat cheese bruschetta was ok. Not as amazing tasting as I had hoped but not bad. We tried samples of a black IPA and rye IPA. Both were good, but we went with the rye for a pint. Nice and hoppy with just a little sharpness, good body. Had a bit of a drive in front of us, so we got a crowler of the black to go. Interesting beer selection, with two strong Scottish ales and many IPA variants.
