I brought my Brother HP printer here for a repair. It was fixed the next day, for a very reasonable price ($85). The customer service was also outstanding from start to finish. The office staff were friendly, professional, efficient, and conscientious. I wasn't quite sure what to make of it as I automatically expect poor service these days(!) This place is old school, the real deal, it seems like the people who work there are really invested in what they do and eager to support customers' needs. From the initial phone call I made from the Providence, RI area (wanting to make sure it was worth the trip there) to leaving with a repaired Canon imageclass printer, I felt I was moving in the right direction because of their friendly and professional ways.... We had a very positive experience here. I came in with my young daughter and a broken printer. The secretary was so kind; she opened the door for us, made us feel immediately comfortable. Then we were greeted by the owner of the company who not only introduced himself, he came out and personally fixed my printer- free of charge! I don't know if this is how they treat all their customers, or if it's bc I mentioned I'm a teacher and they were feeling generous, but I am HIGHLY impressed by the service I received here. I brought my HP Laserjet in for a repair. Unfortunately, the driver mechanism was only repairable at a huge cost. Rather than encourage me to fix it, they suggested I scrap the machine and purchase a new one. The technician spent over an hour diagnosing the problem rather than jump to a fix that would not last. And other than the $25 evaluation deposit, they waived the remaining fee. They also provided advice on a good replacement machine. Although I live in Boston, I will make the 40 minute drive out to Town to fix any of my business systems. Thanks Chris!! read more

I do not normally like to give bad reviews, however for the sake of your business, i recommend going elsewhere. It all seems amazing at first but as soon as something goes wrong Town do not want to know. First thing they do is blame your in house networking, and when you try and resolve the issue they say there is nothing they can do. The owner is a good saleman but doesnt hold his word after making promises. His staff were rude to my staff and told me "it was my problem not theirs" and hung up on me. Now we are stuck with a printer that isnt fit for purpose - and to be honest the product doesn't live up to the sales hype. Luckily CopyPro came in and saved the day. read more

I would like to comment on one of the worst examples of poor customer service on the planet. I have never written anything negative about any business, but I am so incensed of how I was treated, it compelled me to write a review on yelp, so no one has to experience this company, Town Business Systems again. I found them on the internet as I was in need of having my HP Laserjet printer serviced. I was delighted to find out not only do they service those printers (it's old) but they could come the very next day. It was all down hill from there. The women was rude, impatient and sounded like she was doing me a favor on the phone. When I was told they could come out the next day, I inquired what time and was told she couldn't give me a time, not even morning or afternoon. She did begrudgingly tell me she would call me in the morning which I though was fine. By 10am and I hadn't heard from them, I called to just cancel everything (I also ordered supplies). The women could have cared less as she didn't even try to apologize or listen to what I might have said as she just hung up. If she is the owner, shame on her. If she isn't, I hope the owner reads this review, as she should be spoken with or fired. Not a good way to grow a business or build a good reputation. They have lost me, a new customer forever. What a shame. Beware of doing business with that company. read more
