I was driving down Broadway the other night when I scraped the underbody of my Lexus on a steel plate on the pavement. That ripped open a protective flap, which dragged on the pavement as I drove home. My son and his fiance were coming to town, and I didn't want to pick them up with a grinding noise under the hood, or to have the flap fall off and get lost. The next morning I had to be downtown at 9:00 am, after which I would need the car all day. So I showed up 7:00 a.m. at a repair shop I'd used before. I didn't expect they could fix it on the spot, but hoped they could at least diagnose the problem and remove the flap so I could save it. But they couldn't even look at it until the afternoon. Rushing over, I made by 7:15 it to Town Center Auto Repair, where Tommy, the owner, helped me out. The mechanic already on duty was busy, but when Josh, a second mechanic, arrived at 7:30,Tommy put him right on it. After inspecting it, Josh set to work and quickly welded it back together. I made that 9:00 appointment on time, with the car all fixed and ready for my family. Thanks to Tommy and Josh, I didn't have to wait or spend extra money on a replacement part. "Tommy Lee", the self-proclaimed race car builder, was afraid to work on a Toyota 4Runner because the truck has Land Cruiser axles. He described the truck as "amorphous" and refused to perform a brake system flush. Race cars ARE amorphous. He was unprofessional and incapable of rational conversation about his concerns about working on a vehicle. Also, won't hold eye contact. Leaves one questioning his 1/2 ownership in what used to be a trustworthy local business. read more

Christie at the front desk was absolutely horrible. I spoke to her over the phone twice and she was rude both times. In addition, she was not wearing a mask while I was dropping off my car even though they have signs posted that you must wear a mask while inside the building. Awesome service getting my car back on the road for a vacation! I had an intermittent failure on a car we were planning on towing a travel trailer to Yellowstone. I dropped off the car and the team got to work. Because it was intermittent, there could have been several root causes. Kristi was awesome, anticipating the parts that were needed. The entire shop pulled together in the 11th hour to get the car ready....even driving it around town to ensure it was operating properly before we left. It is extremely rare to find a shop that treats your car as if it was their own. Don and his team are awesome...and saved our summer vacation! Car ran like a champ....even towing! I reached out to two different friends who are car guys in hopes of finding a good repair shop. They both told me that Town Center Auto was the best shop in the Highlands Ranch / Roxborough area. The shop owner, Don, has since helped me through a very frustrating repair. It all started when another shop I had been loyal to went through an ownership change. They'd replaced an axle for me that immediately began to leak. Long story short, they refused to warranty their work so I turned to Don. Don approached the job as if his shop had done the original work and made things right. I am so relieved to have found a shop that doesn't use your lack of car knowledge against you but takes the time to educate you and discuss all of the options. I have a 2012 Toyota Tundra, and I'm approaching 150,000 miles. I haul horses. Obviously, I spend a lot of time in my truck, and I put her to work, hard! I was recently at a Discount Tire for a balance and rotate and they told me that my suspension was soft, and I needed an alignment. Boo. I HATE having work done on my vehicle. The scheduling. The waiting. The cost. The fear of being taken for a ride and ripped off. Ugh. I hate the Toyota dealerships, and I worked with a Toyota mechanic for a while but he got overly busy and big for his britches. Lucky for me I happened into an O'Reilly auto part store for a headlight, and Town Center Auto was right behind them. The O'Reilly guy said they were a great shop so I went on over. I talked to Troy who immediately researched what shocks (and other accompanying parts- I'm NOT car savvy) were necessary and how to get the job done economically. Also lucky for me, they gave a loaner car which made scheduling a day to leave my truck MUCH easier. I couldn't believe how honest, fair, fast, and professional this shop was! They also came in $200 less then they quoted me for replacing the shocks, doing the alignment, changing some filters and doing my 150k service. I took my SUV in aprox 1yr ago for a rear axle alignment because my right rear tire had significant inside tread wear. (I was told to try an alignment first). I took my vehicle in for the alignment, which when completed was told by the tech that since my car was a 2010 & old he couldn't get it completely aligned. I questioned this since I was due to leave town the following week in my vehicle. After the alignment I did go purchase brand new tires d/t the uneven wear. I did reach my destination safely, thank goodness. But one afternoon shortly after my alignment, my suv make horrible noises, at which time I took to the dealer. Turns out my wheel bearings were almost gone. Looking up & talking with professionals, my vehicle displayed classic signs of wheel bearing wear/failure. I wish my tech cared more about me & my vehicle vs getting back to sitting around the shop. read more

My mom was driving up from Colorado Springs when her check battery light came on. She stopped at the nearby parts store to check the battery and they said it was her alternator, and that there was a repair shop right next door. Fair, fast, trustworthy! I originally went in for a timing belt replacement. They completed that repair, plus brakes (front and rear), replacing all belts, replacing water pump, replacing engine mount, and plugged a tire for what other shops quoted for only the timing belt replacement. I was able to get in for the repair sooner than expected. They retained all the replaced parts to show me the necessity of all the repairs. As a woman, I really appreciate feeling like they did not take advantage of me! I will definitely go back for all my auto repairs! read more

I highly recommend Town Center Auto Repair if you are looking for a shop that can diagnose car problems even when there isn't a computer hooked up to the vehicle. We have had our 4Runner to several places in HR to be serviced, including the dealer in Englewood, but we received mixed diagnoses of what was causing the rattling noise. After receiving quotes upwards of $1000 to repair the car, Don diagnosed and fixed our issue for $120!! We will never go to another place!! read more

This place is AWESOME!! I can't speak enough about this company's integrity and business ethics. I went to get a new battery at the O'Reilly's! While I was sitting in my idling car, what I thought was smoke, started billowing out of my engine. I walked over to the service station directly behind O'Reilly's (Town Center Service Station) and asked the guy if he could take a look. Don introduced himself as the owner, and said he would take a quick look at my minivan. After diagnosing the problem, he said it wasn't smoke, but it was freon! He quickly put my minivan on a lift and fixed the problem. He tested my battery and said it was totally fine and that the problem he fixed will also fix the problem I had with the car needing 'jumped' every morning. He could've charged me whatever, but he insisted on a handshake. Everyone always says that finding a good mechanic is always tough to find....you can thank me now. Trustworthy, kind, genuine, good people over there. It makes me feel good to know there are still good (not corporate) mechanics out there, that are working on commission!! I've been meaning to write this review for some time now and it's definitely way over due. If your looking for an honest mechanic that you can trust, reasonably priced, and personable with his customers, then you need to need to bring your car or truck to town center auto repair . I'm a surgical nurse working for a busy practice and it's imperative I make it to work every day. My car had been running pretty rough for about 2 days then while driving to work in the morning it became extremely hard to steer and unable to slow down or stop with ease. I knew then my car wasn't going to be drivable to make it back home and I was going to be in a real binde that day . I called the shop after finally making it to work and spoke with Don the owner , explained the problem I was having and the importance of needing my car for work. Don said he was very close by and offered to come to my work and take a look at my car . Told me he can take my car to his shop and evaluate what's wrong, call me and tell me his findings and a quote to fix it. I was so relieved that I didn't have to worry about missing work to get this done and never would have expected him to go out of his way the way he did. He called me within an hour of taking my car and told me my power steering pump had gone out and my brakes were completely gone . He was able to fix all my car problems and Deliver my car back to me at work before my shift ended. Don, thank you for everything you did to help me out . I've since had my son take his car to Don when he was having car trouble and Don took care of him that same day without keeping his car even though the shop was extremely busy that day and there was no room in the garage for my sons car, it still got worked on!
