My first statement to her was that I could not hear her if she is yelling . She proceeded to talk over me saying she was not yelling and I needed to listen to her. I listened ... she yelled, "when you go into Publix 'to buy chicken..." I ignored that because it was obvious she was vibrating low on this good Monday morning. I said Ma'am, we aren't talking about Publix, we are talking about you resubmitting a claim like Jen used to do when the insurance company gave any pushback. I guess that was good, old fashioned, long gone customer service. Thanks Jen, wherever you are. It is certainly my responsibility and I will handle it with the companies we pay to cover these expenses. The next thing I told her was that she was being extremely unprofessional. It was early so obviously no one was in the waiting area... she was loud. Still talking over me, she proceeded to tell me that they were very professional taking care of me and my family. She's 95% correct there; however, let's bring it to the current moment.... Her behavior is unacceptable and anyone in the office on Monday morning can vouch for that. I understand she's upset about not getting her money right away, but I'll continue to do my best to get it resolved. The meantime, go ahead and take me and my family off the books. As soon as I resolve the matter, I will be transferring our 4 sets of dental records elsewhere. There is no way I can ignore that type of abuse and continue to bring my family there for dental services. I went into the office the following morning Because I didn't want to chance not making progress By getting Mrs Lee ( obviously who she is because she is sooooo mad) on the phone with all that yelling and no listening. I was able to speak to a different representative who canceled all future appointments and also had called and received the information I was trying to relay. Let me mention, that throughout my conversation with the other young lady, the Asian lady kept jumping up to bring me policies, and to tell me she isn't listening to me because I don't pay my bills, and how she's sending me to collections. I told her to send it. If that's your job, do it. In the meantime I'll be getting someone else to pay this bill- the insurance company). I'm not new to this, I know all of my responsibilities, rights, laws, credit and all. You'll get paid. I'll remove your bad mark. Wala! Everyone will be happy. Well, I don't know about you. You're mean. She also wanted me to say thank you, and I Obliged. Sorry for the delay; however, someone needs to have a serious talk with her-even though we all know she won't listen- or doesn't have to listen, but try some water yoga or meditation bc she went berserk on the phone and in person. But I go for cleanings every 3 months. I have been to 5 cleanings so far with this office and EACH TIME there is a different hygienist doing my cleaning, and most of them I did not feel was a good cleaning. If I wanted to have a different person cleaning my teeth each time, I would go to the DDS school and be a practice for a student. Thats what I felt like each of my cleanings were. Moving here from Palm Beach County Florida and trying to find all new everything from Doctors, to DDS etc was huge. I became concerned after the 3 visit noticing all new people, but now it is the 5th and final time. I have a new DDS lined up already. My old DDS down south I went to for 8 years and only 1 change in hygienists. Not sure why this office has a revolving door of hygienists. Also they billed me for the cleaning AND a $10. There are many options out there; I believe my choice of JAX Dental Implants and Dentures was the best decision for me. From my initial meeting with Dr. Russell and his team in explaining the procedure, during which all of my questions were answered with clarity, to meeting with Trey, who reviewed available financial options with me, the entire staff could not have been more communicative or professional. The facility was replete with the most modern equipment, including an on-site lab, and every employee I encountered seemed thoroughly excited to be working there. My surgery consisted of 12 extractions, being replaced with a full upper arch on six implants and three, single implants on the lower arch. Following the explicit instructions provided by JAX, my surgery and post-surgical days were uneventful, with truly minimal discomfort. By the time of my 3-month follow-up appointment, my healing was excellent; one implant angle adjustment was made to ensure my final denture would fit perfectly. I returned expecting to have an impression made for my implant tooth, only to be blindsided with charges they claimed dated back to **2022**. These charges were never clearly communicated to me when the services were provided. Had I been informed at the time, I could have worked with my dental insurance while the claims were still timely. Because these charges were presented years later, I lost any meaningful opportunity to seek insurance reimbursement. What made an already upsetting situation even worse was the way I was treated by the billing representative. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt I was treated with hostility instead of professionalism. I was met with an unfriendly expression and immediately handed a stack of billing papers, making me feel as though I had intentionally failed to pay a large debt. Rather than taking the time to explain the situation or answer my questions respectfully, I felt dismissed and judged. When I told the office that I intended to file a complaint with the Florida Board of Dentistry regarding the surprise billing, I later received a text message stating that **my demeanor was disrespectful**. I believe patients have every right to be upset when they are presented with unexpected bills years after treatment--especially when that delay prevents them from seeking insurance coverage. Expressing legitimate concerns should not be used to shift the focus away from the underlying billing issues. This experience destroyed my trust in this practice. Patients deserve honesty, transparency, timely billing, and respectful treatment. No one should be blindsided by years-old charges or made to feel intimidated for asking questions and standing up for themselves.

Last week I got a call from Jessica to confirm my appointment, I was told the practice got sold and I had to change my appointment from 7am to 10am. I asked if they are still in network with delta dental and she said yes. 2 days prior to my appointment I got a text message to confirm my appointment which I replied, 24 hrs prior to my appointment I got another text and I replied. The next day I went for my appointment and the office was closed! I called and the person who answered said, the dentist decided to go to their other location. They didn't even bother to call me. I was patient and gave them a chance. They scheduled me for 4pm the same day. I came in, checked in, sat down, and was told to pay because they are out of network. Again, poor communication! I asked this question when a week before and was told they are in network! Poor service and unfortunately I won't be coming back!
